I am not one to write a review ever but I am so disappointed and upset. I have been going to the nail studio for years. I got a gel fill yesterday and was disappointed in how the nails came out. I called today to get them fixed and they were happy to fix them. Expect at my dime which I wasn't told until they were finished. I paid 75$ plus a generous tip yesterday for my manicure and then they charged me 30$ to fix them today. The next day!! When I brought this to their attention I was told it was my fault and I needed to pay. I will not be going back. So disappointed. read more

I really like this nail studio - it's clean, thorough, friendly, they have plenty of staff, and they do a great job. BUT recent changes to the spa pedi were a little frustrating. Before, only one clinician worked on you the entire time doing your nails and massage. This made it very easy to pay and tip. Now, one person does most of your pedi, but then another clinician comes over and gives you a foot / leg massage, along with 2 minutes on the neck area. It was great, but I brought enough cash tip for one clinician. So this leaves me with two choices - split the tip between the two clinicians so that each one gets less money, or bring double next time (too much) on top of the spa pedi price. I don't really like either option and it was much easier and more reasonable before. Also, my friend's pedi chipped on the very next day. I will probably continue to get pedis at this salon and would recommend, but just be aware of the tip situation. read more

I find the quality of mani/pedi to be inconsistent. This was my first try at dipped nails here and they were far too expensive for the poor quality and damage done to my cuticles with the drill she could not steadily use when prepping the nails for dipping. This was once my favorite place but I do not think I will be coming back. The nail tech was nice just unskilled. read more

My daughter, girlfriend and I made an appointment here on a Sunday since not many nail places were open that day and the moment we walked in, we were so impressed at how gorgeous the place was. It was so clean and had a trendy vibe and included services that many standard nail salons don't offer. All of their furniture, decor and pedicure chairs were all top of the line. We chose the step up above the basic pedicure and I was so impressed at all of the bells and whistles included in the the treatment, including a quick neck and shoulder massage while I was waiting for my nails to dry -- unexpected but great! This was my first time coming to The Nail Studio and I must say they are the best nail shop I've ever been to around the area. The shop is very contemporary and clean. The owner always checking on customers that if they need anything else as they are getting their nails done. They have a wide range of gel colors, and everyone is very polite and personable. I am not one to write reviews of anywhere because I work in the service industry and completely understand what goes on behind the scenes. However, I went here today and had coco to do my manicure and pedicure she was extremely nice but this was sadly the worst manicure I've ever received. First of all I got the milk and honey pedicure which mentioned a 10 minute reflexology massage. The massage was anything but reflexology it was basically as if she was just rubbing my legs instead of any sort of massage but I tried to remain positive and wasn't upset. Then she began my nails where my finger tips were not soaked at all before ripping my cuticles out of my fingers it hurt and any time I've gotten a manicure before my nails have been soaked. Then she filed my nails where not one single nail is even with the other one my nails are pretty short and didn't have any problem making them shorter but I expect them to be the slightest bit even with the other nails. I asked her to fix one finger with the level and she made it even worse. I tipped 20% of my service as I do not believe in tipping anything less but I am so extremely disappointed and upset over my experience. Not to mention there were 3 other employees standing behind coco for the entire duration of my manicure making faces of confusion I can only think that it was because she was taking off my acrylic nails with a business card. I will never be returning and would like a refund for my manicure service as it was an absolute waste of time and money. read more

Place is nice and clean, but manicure was TERRIBLE. The girl sat me down, used the industrial filing thing to ruin my nail bed the second I sat down. DIDNT push back or cut my cuticles. Began filing my nails into the oval shape I asked for and left little straggler pieces of my nail on the top. Then started doing the dip, took FOREVER, yet they are still all lopsided. At the end my nails had all the powder from the dip under them along with the clear stuff that hardened and she never cleaned it up, I had to ask her to keep fixing it until it was all gone, even though it wasn't I just wanted to leave at one point because I've had enough. They aren't good, don't go, not worth the money. read more

This place is a delightful experience and you will leave feeling truly pampered. The studio consists of mostly male manicurist, which I have NO problem with. The studio is impeccably clean and they use individually sterilized packaged "trimming tools" for each mani/pedi, along with disposable pedicure basin's with each pedicure. It's $60 for a spa mani/pedi and this is what you will walk away with: Pedicure: Beautiful massage seats, jetted sterile foot tubs, Bottled water was offered to us, exfoliation rub with saran wrap, wonderful calf/foot massage with hot stones, hot oil treatment for heels, hot towel treatment and lovely pedicured toes. Manicure: Sterilized individual equipment, no soaking of the cuticles, (which I actually prefer) trimming/shaping nails, cuticle trimming but not too much (which I prefer too as I tend to get hang nails if they do it too much), Orange exfoliation scrub, paraffin treatment, shoulder massage with hot stone during your paraffin treatment, nail painting and hand massage. I go to this nail salon often, and they typically do a great job. However, if you get a nail tech named Annie, ask for someone else. I always believe in giving someone the benefit of the doubt, and we all have bad days. However, yesterday was the third time I've had Annie, and every time she's been rude and lazy. When I was ushered to her chair yesterday, she rolled her eyes at my arrival, and continued to roll her eyes, sigh loudly, and maintain a pout the entire time. (Just as a side note, I'm a clean, polite, quiet, generous tipper- no part of my appearance or behavior should prompt her to react this way.) During any hand/leg massage she truly barely even makes contact with your skin, and she taps your cuticles quickly with the tool rather than shaping them. I've gone with friends to get our nails done together, and Annie has had the same behavior with them. In conclusion, if you're greeted by Annie's grimace, leave or ask for another technician. You shouldn't have to feel like your presence during a $35 manicure is ruining the nail tech's day. read more

Today was my third time visiting The Nail Salon and the third time I left more stressed leaving than going in. Yes, it is very clean and prices are reasonable but It is more like an assembly line than a time to be pampered. The last two times (prior to today) I went it was at the end of the day and although there were many clients still there, a handful of staff ran vacuums and cleaned around you. Not relaxing at all after a fast paced day. Today I went in the morning and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left it felt like they were all about getting you in and out. The person with me had a basic pedicure and was in there a total of 20-25 min. No exaggeration. I keep thinking maybe it was an off day for them but after the third try and even a more stressful experience than first two, I am quite disappointed. read more

Went in today and asked for coffin nails with dip. The nails were uneven and crooked and I kept asking him to fix them. He kept laughing thinking it was funny. Then he did the dip powder and they were still uneven so I asked him to fix them and he still laughed. One smudged and two others turned white on the top. He fixed one and laughed at the others and gave me the fan to dry them myself. He then laughed again and walked away. Horrible experience and I will never be back. read more

This place has been my go to nail salon. The atmosphere is very clean and open allowing you to actually relax. I love that you can get anything from a basic manicure to adding a spa element! They have a great selection of regular, gel and dip colors and all of the services are reasonably priced. I give them 4 starts because the last time I went and got the sparkle dip, the girl did it 3 times when I told her I only wanted two and it became way to thick. It ended up chipping off so I went to get it removed not a week later. I will be back as I love their services but will have to remember to be more clear to ensure I get exactly what I want! read more

I have been here twice and both times it's been terrible. First time I came for a shellac manicure. The male tech said nothing to me, a hi how are you would have been nice. The only time he did speak to me was to try to upsell me on doing powder instead of shellac. My nails were okay - nothing special. I would rather do without the parafin wax and shoulder massage and pay less than what they charge. I was hesitant to return after my first experience but desperately needed my nails done and didn't have time to go to my usual spot. The pedicure was alright but the tech shaped my nails poorly and I'll now have ingrowns because of it. I did the dip powder and it was horrific, talk about a hot mess. I've gotten my nails done for many years and this was the absolute worst service I have ever had. My nails are all different lengths and shapes, one cut and filed so short it was very painful and still is. I told the tech yet she kept filing away despite it. My cuticles were never touched and needed to be cleaned up. I asked the tech to do it - big mistake. No exaggeration, every finger of mine is now swollen, red, cut up and scabbed over. The dip was done very poorly, the tech even 'forgot' I wanted a design on two nails. Then after putting the final top coat on she filed the top of some nails so it's not smooth and looks terrible. I had clumps of dip stuck to my fingers, under my nails - everywhere. She never cleaned my nails properly of the dust from filing and painted on top of it. I'm still finding dust on sides of my nails. The worst part, they're now chipping off. I've never had dip chip off, it usually lasts me a month. I called to complain and was told I should have had someone else do my dip...That's your answer?? You assigned me that tech knowing what I asked for! Their prices are way too high and their techs are terrible. I don't know if they're all new or what but I will never go back. Lesson learned - stick with your go to place! read more

I have been looking for a go-to nail studio in the area and was really hoping this would be it. The pros: it's clean, they have a great selection of colors, and the lady greeting everyone at reception is so nice. I was excited -- until I met my manicurist. He was gruff & had nothing to say to me as far as pleasantries go. That's fine, I don't mind quiet. However, when it came time to cut my nails, he cut and filed all of them at a sharp angle. When I confronted him about it, he got incredibly defensive and ripped my hand up to show me the nails (yup, definitely uneven buddy) and was arguing with me that the nails look different from his view than my view. Um, what? I honestly would never usually say anything if they were a little uneven but they were absolutely ridiculous looking. After a few rounds of fixing I was checking em out and he snaps at me "just tell me what you want" -- that's what I'm trying to do! I feel like I shouldn't have to coach someone on their profession. The polish was fine but he was a jerk to me during the whole experience. With that said, my friend got a pedicure and really enjoyed it. Have not decided if I will be back, but if I get that guy again I'll be running right out the door. read more

My $30 pedicure lasted 22 minutes. Enough said. I won't be back. For $45 you can get a slightly longer massage. Wow. This place is clean but not luxurious by any means. When I commented on the short pedicure they were rude. Then after my polish dried and I'm going to put my shoes on there was polish on my skin on multiple toes. The salon is brand new, clean and cool. First time there I got a regular manicure with a male manicurist he spent about 2 minutes on my cuticles, next day I noticed a bunch of spots with lots of old cuticles so I removed myself. Second time there I got a different male manicurist who filed my nails and then painted without touching my cuticles. When I asked if he was going to clean my cuticles he said I didn't need, well after one month without getting my nails done I'm sure I need it. It was already too late since my nails was already painted. Very disappointed. If you don't care about your cuticles then go there but if you do I wouldn't bother. Going back to my old nail salon, at least she doesn't mind spending extra time on cleaning my nails properly. read more
