Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. In short, there is a reason for all of the five star reviews, you will rate him with 5 stars as well when call him for service, I guarantee it!

A reason why i went with this company is that they are licensed .... which i did double check and they do have a C10 which is for electrical. Also, they did answer with regard to how much a particular job would be. Originally, we had an after lunch timeslot... I requested if there was a possibility of a morning one the day prior... Thankfully, they were able to come on over and accommodate. So that's a plus. When they arrived, Nick was respectful and straight to the point. He pointed out some items that were needed to be addressed... and upgraded... Felt like an upsell but i do understand that when it comes to keeping a house safe, you gotta do what you gotta do and hopefully you get what you paid for. They offered to 1. do grounding.... 2. and also to install a surge protector.... 3. to change parts of the breaker that were damaged or cooked and not rated properly 4. Patch up the dry wall. 5. In addition to installing the tesla wall connector. Now originally, i just wanted to have just my tesla wall connector installed. The price for such is pretty affordable and comparable to other electricians. Unfortunately, with all the other things that needed to be done... the price exponentially increased. Good thing, they offered different modes of payment,.... like credit, debit, check, and even zelle. Since the bill was a pretty penny, he did mention doing a 60amp rather than a 50amp for the tesla wall connecter and making sure that all connections are up to code. I assumed from the beginning that it's supposed to be a 60amp since that is what the wall connector is rated for... In any case..... They got here at 8:43 am and were done by 10:07.... pretty quick and fast. I did like that Nick showed me the issues and also showed what they did and he assure me that everything is up to code. They sent an invoice via email and i paid them via check . Edit 2 weeks after: I have messaged them to cash the check i gave. They replied and promised that they will the following day but still hasn't ... i told them that I would be changing accounts .... Looking back, i think i should have asked for a breakdown of the services with the prices for each. They gave me an initial proposal of installation for a charge of : 300 usd. (50amp then 60amp) Then offered a surge protector for 350usd... Then said.... said let's make it up to code and charged me a total of 2,500.... for changing of fuses and putting a ground .... they didn't give a price but total was 2,500 USD. So i'm assuming that 2,500-650 =1,850 was for all that. Tbh, looking back... i felt that i overpaid...and upon asking around, apparently I did. I should just paid them for installation and that's it. And yes, they did ask for this review to be put out... hence, i'm editing it so that i'm writing it truthfully.

We had a refrigerator and freezer full of food, and even worse, no t.v Based on reviews and location my husband took a chance and called Austin's Electrical. The first thing that elevated Austin about others in my experience was even though it was Friday, after 5:00 pm, he answered his phone. No recording to leave a message for a callback. My husband explained what our problem was, Austin asked for a picture of our fuse box to determine if he had the correct parts on hand to be able to help us. My husband sent the picture and 20 minutes later Austin was at our house. It took him less than 5 minutes to locate a faulty wire and our power was back on. He explained that the box was really old and probably should be replaced, he gave us an estimate but no high pressure sales pitch. Then, he said have a nice weekend, and he left. No charge! On a Friday after 5:00 pm, every other contractor in my experience would have charged not only their fee, but a premium for after hours and weekend rates. The fact that he took care of our immediate problem was great, the fact that he didn't turn it into a huge bill secured the future job of updating our fuse box that he recommended. He even took the time to greet my children and was very warm and friendly with them. Daniel was able to determine that a faulty line/wire was causing the power issues in the bedrooms. After checking the attic, he also discovered some problematic wiring and conditions involving the subpanel. He recommended running new wiring and replacing a damaged breaker in the attic panel, which would not only fix the problem but provide a much safer setup and help prevent potential hazards like an electrical fire. The price was fair, and the work took about two hours, just as he estimated. He worked diligently the entire time without taking a break. I honestly felt bad for him being up in our attic because it had to be easily 120° up there! I offered him water throughout the job, which he graciously accepted. Before leaving, Daniel also gave me an estimate to upgrade our existing breaker box.
