Ordered our food when it wasn't even busy (we were the only ones there) and after 20 minutes and only ordering two sandwiches I went and asked if it was ready soon and the worker just said "yeah" and turned away to not look at us. Awful! I knew it was fast casino food and didn't expect much, but the service was awful. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and the brought cheese sticks. I re-ordered cheese quesadilla, and got charged for a chicken quesadilla for $7 more. I just walked away after 2 strikes. read more

If you don't expect much then you can grab a quick bite here. The food is expensive for what it is. I had a food credit and he wanted some dinner. Since we were dining at Roxy the next night, we decided to eat here. He wanted a steak sandwich and I chose the shrimp pho. Apparently roast beef and cheese is the same as the steak sandwich. Server was abrupt and not very friendly. Gave us a number and we found a table. The floor had food and I just didn't feel it was very clean. They do have ready made food in containers to select and drinks are in bottles only. No soda fountain. The utensils are in the corner. Our food was brought to us and I was surprised at how small a $12 bowl of shrimp pho is. His sandwich was meh. The shrimp pho had a good number of shrimp in it. Which was the only plus in the meal. Stone IPA $7.99 and bottle of water $4.49. Should have walked into casino to the beverage section for free drinks. We order breakfast got the pancakes and bacon, Dash Cafe breakfast plate and a hot dog. First we waited 50 minutes for our order. Then when we got our order there was no utensils or condiments. The Dash Cafe plate was bland, pancakes weren't sweet enough, and the hot dog had a sour taste to it. Late night dining after a long day of drinking. The staff was super cool and friendly. I asked the cooks what was good and they gave their recommendations, which was cool. The French dip was the best part of our order, plenty of meat and it was flavorful. Lots of grab and go fun staff, which in this sweet little town, is hard to find friendly staff. Good cafe that's intended to be a grab and go. Hubs got the breakfast burrito, which is smothered in green chili. He's not the biggest GC fan but actually liked it! The burrito clearly wasn't super hot since the cheese wasn't fully melted across the entire burrito. To all the folks giving hate for the wait: chill out. Much like every place nowadays they are incredibly short staffed. Even with higher pay, it doesn't matter if folks can't live here. The jr. sous chef was the only cashier and navigating the kitchen, which only had 1 cook. We stopped by on a Saturday morning, sat down around 11:00 and never saw the line get below 5 people. He was constantly running back and forth, running food out to folks while trying to manage the register. He did a great job managing the constant flow of folks- but could use some support. I wonder if a self check out might help alleviate some of the back up. In any case, kudos to the cook and cashier! read more

Words cannot explain how disappointed I was or maybe they can. We drove for a couple of hours to finally have something to eat. Upon our stay at the Isle, the Dash cafe made sense since we were limited to options. Why did I bother with ordering a polish sausage hot dog despite the previous reviews..how can they mess this up? well they can by serving a gray colored dog..I didn't eat it. I didn't want my money back either. I just want people to serve fresh items. I wouldn't give that to my dog. My husband had a cheese pizza and it looked like cafeteria pizza. I resorted to my cheese and crackers snacks. Casinos make so much money why serve bad food? This place is over priced and serves stale food. read more

I've eaten here a few times. It's not as bad as others are saying. It's open 24hours, their food is good, and it comes out pretty quick. I ordered the chili dog. ¼ lb dog and it was delicious! The chili is very high quality. I saw and watched a bunch of others eating their food. The quality also looked good, they all seamed to enjoy it and I didn't see anyone complaining. If you don't want food from a quick serve stand then hit the buffet or Roxy's. Other than that, there's nothing wrong with Dash. read more

I have tried to eat at this small grab-n-go cafe 3x. The first time, I was given an undercooked hotdog after waiting in line for 45min. The second time, it took us an hour to get through the line just to get a salad and pizza. The pizza had to be thrown away...disgusting. The third and final time, I got in line at 10:00pm and had to just leave as the line did not move the entire 45min I stood waiting. This cafe is consistently understaffed & gives inedible food. Don't be cheap ISLE, your a Caesar's owned property. You can HIREE more staff and a proper cook. read more

great breakfast burrito. like, my hubby loved it. seasoned well and flavorful. the eggs inside were so good. smothered with cheesey verde sauce. served hot. he says 4 stars for the burrito. we waited awhile but they were busy. couple of tips... don't ask for gratuity before you receive and taste food and experience food delivery. also, if food is "to go", most likely need to provide silverware. One word to describe my experience- RUDE. It was close to closing time, however we were advised we could get in line to order. The whole time we were in line, we could hear the cook loudly complaining about people being in line and how he had to stay late. In addition to the cook complaining, the woman working the cash register repeatedly asked my group if we were in line before closing time. Several other people tried to get into line not knowing the cafe was closed were rudely told they were closed. Nope. Just nope. This is kind of like a gas station- has lots of convenience snack foods- pre- packaged. The food itself is literally frozen food that they heat up. Ordered pizzas - they were on some flimsy pita bread- cheese wasn't even melted- horrible. Sausage looks like someone's mole cut off their skin- barely edible. The only good thing about this cafe is the pies that are made from their pastry chef- everything else- gross. Black Hawk just can't win with their food scene. read more

We had garlic knots- don't. A Nathan's hotdog-like the ones at gas station- ripoff report, a bowl of homemade chili - very small, and not a bowl, and a reasonably large breakfast burrito smothered in cheeszz sauce w green chili. The chicken tenders smelt like sewer water and within a couple of hours of consuming them I was hunched over having the worst stomach pains I've ever had in my life. you're better off eating at Starbucks than any of the restaurants in here. read more

I stayed at the isle hotel and ordered food to my room. I was charged in full and after 2 hours I still didn't receive my food. So I went down to the restaurant and the employees were unable to refund my order. I was charged a second time for my meal and then I had to wait another 45 minutes to finally get my overpriced food. Several options (mind you, we only tried pizza and wings) but they were not great... at all. The food was fast and hot, but the wings were seriously over seasoned (I honestly wonder if the lid fell off the shaker?) and the pizza was undercooked. The prices are sky high ($18 for 2 bottles of Sprite and 2 Coors Lights and $34 for 8 wings and half of a square pizza). There breakfast options sound pretty good, but I do not think we will be returning! I would pick the buffet if you're at the hotel/casino in lieu of this, but I didn't try that so it might not be good either read more

We went to this Cafe inside the Isle Casino for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and was extremely disappointed when it came out. First, the price was around $10 so I expected a decent size cheeseburger. It wasn't. It had a very small meat patty, something about the size that I would get if I ordered off the value menu at a normal fast food hamburger place. Then it was covered with some sort of pink sauce that they call Dash sauce. It was terrible. I asked about it and a guy from the kitchen said that it was basically thousand Island dressing. I can't stand thousand Island dressing. I got some napkins and cleaned it off of the burger and the onions. They were quick to point out that the menu stated burgers included Dash sauce. True, but it never identified what the sauce really was. We also got an order of chicken wings which were small, overcooked and tough. Next time I will walk over to the Monarch Casino and eat at their downstairs grill. It is much better. read more

My burger didn't come with the onion rings we paid for, my boyfriends sweet and sour chicken didn't have sauce, and it came with 4 pieces of chicken! For $11, I would've expected so much more. Went here to grab a quick lunch. They told me I could leave a tip so I did. But when I got my bill I had a $4.21 tip and a $4.21 SERVICE CHARGE! When my husband talked to the customer service lady she said that I had hit the tip button twice. If that was the case, why wouldnt it have showed up under the tip. No one seemed to know what the service charge was for. I will never come back to this casino. And ask in advance before you eat there if there is a service charge.
