After getting a $25 food comp at Golden Gulch (by Donny no less!), the group and I stumbled on over to Full House Cafe for a much needed greasy bite. STAR 1 = Insanely good food, that totally hits the spot. The menu is quite extensive so there is plenty to choose from, including breakfast served until 2pm. I opted for the "breakfast burger" which consisted of two burger patties, cheese, bacon and a fried egg on top! DROOL WORTHY. We also noshed on the green chili fries, their signature side salad, had bites of the Cuban sandwich - which were delicious and perfectly cooked! STAR 2 = Prices are the cheapest you'll find in Black Hawk, SERIOUSLY! The burger I ordered was just a mere $5.99 with tax! Because we had a tough time choosing what to eat and racking our total up to $25, we ordered it all! Ha :) STAR 3 = Staff is ultra friendly, accommodating and insistent on making sure your needs are met. In fact, when our parties bill was only $22, the cook made sure to add an extra twix bar so they could get their money worth! STAR 4 = Located inside the casino, it's a bit off the radar, so it's not insanely crowded! There isn't much room to sit inside, but everything is served to go, so either grab a seat, or simply take it home! 1 star with ease. I came in to order, man says "hey man the cooking oil should be ready in 10 minutes" telling the same thing to another lady who wanted to order. Then, 10 minutes pass; she comes back to order and he says "oil should be ready in 15 minutes!" I go up to try to order because it seemed like she placed her order ahead of time, and so dude tells me "I'll be back and the oil should be ready to cook!" Turns out, he told the lady that he said he was going on a smoke break. Why was the fryer even off? The place supposedly opens at 10am, and it was 8pm when I came in. Unbelievable. read more

pretty disappointed in my experience here. the server/cook refused to take my order and said he would be ready in 10 minutes and 30 minutes went by and he said he needed a smoke break. still hadn't taken my order. pretty embarrassing, it's as if he just didn't want to do his job. if there was 0 stars I would choose that. read more

Here we are again. Please see the photo of the female behind the counter. Over the months there has been an wide bunch of excuses to why she cannot make food. Ms. Problem, Ms. Attitute, Ms. I am going to take my chips elsewhere... Here's what's on the menu: Breakfast - Arrive at 10 am. Sorry we are out of eggs and tortillas. Or the breakfast hours are changed. It now ends at 10 am. The sign reads different. Lunch - Today I came to order a burger. Sorry no more hamburgers for the next two hours. The new restaurant upstairs didn't have the same issue. Other excuses - I am too busy with one burger on the grill, I am taking my break at 12 noon, I am talking to the poker dealers (Bally employees)... I don't know what her problem is. She has no issue for making food for the Bally employees. The other cooks, I believe his name is Jay, is a cool guy and very friendly. The older African American cook on the weekend there is no problem. Burger ordered, burger cooked, burger eaten. I am wondering if Bally's just doesn't want to feed poker players. I play poker in this place once or twice a week and this is how I am treated. Ballys - Remember you are not the only game in Blackrock. July 30, 2025 about 5:30 pm. Food usually good here. I got burger and fries. 20% tip. Took it to my poker table and ate two fries. Overcooked but also cold. Ate the burger which was pretty good and took the fries back. Said, "the burger was great but the fries were really cold. Can I swap the out for new fries?" Clearly, the basket was full and the older guy says "I can't do anything for you." Seriously? Someone needs some customer service training. A grill inside a casino in Black Hawk. The food is fine, and is pretty much what you'd expect from a flat-top with a few items to put on that grill. Huge breakfast burrito, burgers, a Cuban, some snack-like items and it is the only food-option on property. There's a Dunkin Donuts at the sister property across the street, though ... read more

OMG, we love this place! The double cheeseburger is the best I've ever had! The pickles are excellent (weird, huh!?), and the burger tastes flame broiled and yuuuummmyy! My husband had the steak sandwich the second time we went in 2 days, and he loved that too! The onion rings are delicious, and the people there are wonderful. I wish I lived there so I could eat that burger and rings whenever I want! I miss it already! read more
