Dr. Berman is awesome, I came in today to do my DOT medical exam. I was in and out quickly 65 bucks maybe 15, 20 mins and I was outta there. If you are thinking of going to St. Rose thru your work or just going there for your DOT medical exam, trust me don't do it. They are slow slow slow. Last time I went there I was there for close to 3 hours for my DOT medical exam AND they got my exam wrong. They gave me a test for a new employee!!! I gave them the Medical exam from the DMV, they had It on file and they still screwed up. Not only that the lady who gave me the tests kept screwing up the different tests over and over. Dr. Berman is a great chiropractor. I went to him last week for an alignment because I was experiencing some sever lower back pain. I explained to him that I have been a patient of chiropractic therapy in the past and knew that some adjustments would ease my pain. He performed the alignment and I felt instant relief. One thing that stands out to me me is that Dr. Berman left the choice to me if I wanted to return for more treatments. He didn't try to "up-sell" me. This is uncommon as I have found many chiropractors in the east bay area, that after a visit they want you to continue to come in for an endless amount of time. I ended up going for three days straight (my choice) and had a significant improvement in my back. All I have to do now is find a proper pillow to keep the pain away. Another thing that surprised me is that he accepted my Kaiser insurance and I only had to pay a nominal co-pay for the treatments. This is the first chiropractor I have found that does this. I have been suffering from back pain for a very long time. I have times when my sciatica acts up and it reduces my quality of life greatly. I cannot walk, I cannot sleep, I cannot work out. I am in so much pain, that is it exhausting. The pain drains me completely. One of these times was last week, when I said enough is enough and went on Yelp to try to find a good Chiropractor in the area. I was very skeptical of going to a Chiropractor. I was honestly afraid of the adjustments and afraid that they would make things worse (based on past experience with other Chiropractors). After reading numerous reviews on numerous Chiropractors, I am very happy that I settled on Dr. Daryl Berman. He called me immediately the following morning after writing on his website that I want to be contacted the night before, at like 11pm. He took me in right away, listened to all my problems, and carefully adjusted me. I was able to walk out of his place with 90% less pain that day, and even went to the gym for some cardio! That was Tuesday. I was able to work out all week with almost no pain and do my usual routines. It was like a miracle that he performed on me. I like that he is very honest. He analyzed my x-rays that were taken previously by another Chiropractor at an event that was held at my previous job. I came out from that event terribly upset because I was told that I had a more serious condition (than actually) that required a whole treatment plan that would take up much time and money. I have been struggling with my neck and beck for about a month now, i believed it to be because of my pillow. I had scheduled a massage when a friend referred me to Dr. Berman for an adjustment. I have had an adjustment before and didnt remember it giving me too much relief. I decided that I would go in and give it a try being that I have tried just about everything for relief. One thing that stood out when I got to his office is a machine that he lays you on face first that loosens up your muscles before the adjustment. I almost didnt want to get up from there.
