I never ever write reviews unless they are good. However, I feel like I need to let others know my personal experience. First of all, shame on ME for falling for the salesmen's ongoing flattery and pitch. I feel so embarrassed and taken at the same time! We needed our electric awnings canvas replaced and had a couple of estimates. Darts came in almost double, however, we were told (by the salesman) that they would make the adjustments we needed, clean up the awning frame and install the new canvas. The adjustments included a arm that did not fully retract and a retractable extending adjustment ,so it would stop at a certain point. He ensured us they would make it look and work like new. He even talked us out of buying a new one because he said ours was a "workhorse" and they would make it work like new. We decided to go with them and even went to the showroom later that day to discuss and ensure we were doing the right thing, knowing that the cost was a lot for the canvas alone. Well, I was not home when they installed the canvas but, that is ALL they did. They did not clean the framing and could not make the adjustments because of lacking pieces along with not wanting to break another. Well, they did try, but could not and just left. Now one arm bangs LOUDLY against the house when it retracts back and we have to manually stop the awning from extending out. I called the next morning and very kindly explained the situation. I was told that a service request was being put in to come back and finish. However, I would have to pay additional $150 for the one small part and installation. I thought was kind of petty, since I was sold a service that was not provided to begin with. They were aware of my dissatisfaction and now, It's been over 2 weeks and no follow up. There were several other products I was extremely interested in for myself and another home I own. Unfortunately, I will not be doing business with this company again. What dog Crap company... they will convince you to go non retractable, just to get you to pay them to hang an awning for you every year and cash in. Then, you're at the mercy of your neighbors on when they are ready to rehang their awnings, because god forbid they can't squeeze every penny out of a trip. Cancelled on me today after waiting three weeks, they told me they'll call me to reschedule - aka I'm going to have to wait till enough people in my neighborhood want their awnings reinstalled. read more

My husband and I purchased a retractable awning from this company and We love it! It looks great, keeps the sun out of the eating area in our back yard, it looks classy and tasteful. Robert first gave my husband and I an estimate and explained the choices and product thoroughly- the time frame discussed and agreed upon was accurate- Quick turn around. The installers Tom and Donald were awesome- professional, efficient and friendly. Tom explained the use and care of the awning very thorougyly. They both even cleaned up the job spotless when they were finished which went above and beyond the job description and I appreciated that very much. The inside staff was great too.. I was very indecisive about fabric choices and the girls in the office took the time (a lot of time) our of their day to help me, Daniella recommended a great fabric choice that I ultimately went with and honestly I just couldnt be happier! We were very pleased with the whole process and would definitely recommend this company to any of our friends & family! I have been a customer for years. Every year the office gets more disorganized, condescending and unprofessional. This year I got a lecture! Three weeks late, and I am told, "This is a SERVICE, not an ORDER!" (Three times, shouting over my voice) Why put me on hold for five minutes to locate my account?!? Bought my front door awning and retractable patio awning from them and have nothing but great things to say. Professional from start to finish (and later) and both awnings are of the highest quality. They have a small "showroom" (literally a room) in the Rockaway Beach section of Queens with a handful of awnings displayed. If you are buying a retractable, I'd suggest visiting the showroom if possible to open and close the awnings and look at the material. read more

I didn't have any complaints with the service or the quality of the work. What's the best is this. I was very dissatisfied with the service and the workmanship from this company. I ordered EZ Breeze windows from them on May 1, with an expected delivery and installation by June 15. I paid half the cost on May 1. One week before June 15, the salesman called and said the windows would not be available for another 6 weeks, and there was no guarantee that they would even arrive by that date (which was July 30 - half the summer was over). I asked for a refund of the deposit. After 4 weeks and multiple unreturned phone calls to them, I received 60% of the deposit back. Do not use this company. They do not honor their commitment. read more

They get 1 star because their customer service approach is CRIMINAL. The awning leaked after the first rain. 2 months later when it was still not fixed Connie thinks its OK to yell at ME for inquiring of the status. When asked to stop yelling at ME, she said she was frustrated because she had told me 2 weeks ago that it depends on the weather. "And dont tell me how to talk" (she actually said that) But nobody had gotten back to me. When I spoke to Dooley the Manager, he was sarcastic & actually said "if you want us to come over and powder your butt we can do that". Its just really sad and disgusting that a business can treat their customers so badlly . THey were only $100 less than their competitor. They are not worth the aggravation. (I can't speak for their competitor either, but not happy regardless) I am contacting Consumer Affairs and Better Business Bureau. I am sick and tired of the Customer being WRONG. No one should speak to customers that way. They are probably all relatives and it doesn't matter if you complain. read more
