At first I thought maybe it was something simple since I'm not very tech savvy but after the guy came I realized there was some damage but the IT guy was super knowledgeable. They were amazing. They evaluated my current system, which is also integrated into an AV system, wrote up a proposal which I accepted. The system they installed is amazing. I have never had as good a WiFi system in terms of strength of signal, speed and reliability. As important, this Smart Start does what they say they will do without any surprises. They call when they say they will call, show up for appointments on time and really back up their services. In my case there has been nothing to do, since their system is working perfectly, but Smart Start Network has followed up a couple of times in the first 30 days after installation to make sure I was 100% satisfied. If you have a WiFi system you want installed, or have an existing system you would like upgraded I would highly recommend Smart Start Network. After my laptop started to have a mind of its own, shutting down and many other issues, it was time to purchase a new one. I'm completely clueless with the endless software/hardware jargon. I had no idea what was best for me and I definitely knew I wasn't going to be able to install and configure most things properly. The consultant asked me questions to understand what I will be using the laptop for specifically and my price range. He wanted to get a full understanding so that he can provide me a list of laptops that best suits my needs and budget. It was a quick turnaround that included pros and cons & products that more than work for me as it was under my budget. I went ahead with the purchase. Once I got my laptop, the consultant set up my wireless/printer and installed all necessary programs and configurations. I highly recommend as I was headache free and everything worked out great.

We have a two level apartment so it can be challenging to get a good reach on a wireless network. They considered a wired network, but after discussions we both realized it would be too cumbersome (wires behind walls) to install. They then recommended a wireless mesh network which we installed. The 4 units sit on the floor and are not intrusive - 8" high or so. So far so good with speeds in the 25-70 MBS range consistently. They arrived on time for all appointments and did a good job they also hooked up all our existing devices to the new network . Only suggestion - make sure to be clear about pricing on visits where they evaluate your project in order to provide an estimate. They typically charge for estimates and you may not realize that. In the end the owner - Peter- was fair.
