He greeted all of the regulars and was giving out tips and talking about special purchases. He spent time talking to us about where we were from and what we were interested in. He went into the back for a few minutes because my daughter asked for Supergirl, there wasn't much of a selection on the floor. He found a few items that she liked and made the extra sale because he went above and beyond. I even got to play Super Mario Brothers on the Super Nintendo that was set up. It's a great store. Definitely worth checking out.

When you walk in, you will see a long counter bar, on the left, with plenty of seats where you can order freshly made cookies and pretzels, along with a variety of floats. On the right side, you will see many products to purchase. Towards the back of the shop, on the left, there were a few couches surrounding a big screen TV where you can play games. Just beyond that, was a large table with chairs that can be used for things like playing board games, trading cards and enjoying the yummy treats they sell. Apparently they have some board games in the back that they can retrieve or you can bring your own. The right side had 2 mini arcade style machines, along with 4 gaming stations. They each had a docking station for you to use your own Nintendo switch. We were told it was all free to play. Wow! Finally, the bathroom. The bathroom is decorated in a Super Mario theme, which is so appropriate right now with the new Super Mario Bros move right now in theaters. What a way to get the kids out of the house, in a nice environment where the family can enjoy playing some games together.

People who are super collectors should be treated equally. It is a niche market and only a handful…read moreof people will shell out three and $500 for Star Wars figures or Transformers. When someone walks into the store and it's clearly interested in buying the higher items. The least the shop person can do is provide them with a little bit of attention. This shows that the shop is interested in cultivating sales with real collectors. Unfortunately, after many visits, on my last visit. My interest in a higher an item was put to the side while another collector received attention. I stood and waited patiently for the shop person and the other collector to conclude. However, afterwards, the shot person just kind of walked away, and I had to chase him down. This after I already expressed an interest in one of the higher items. My time was limited and it got all used up with me standing on the sidelines, waiting to talk to the shop owner about an item I wanted to buy. It wouldn't have been so bad if the shop owner would've said just one moment I'm gonna be right with you. But there was no communication I felt like I wasn't valued. And that really kind of put me off because I drive out of my way to go to this shop. In any event, I don't know if I'll ever go back again. I spoke with another friend of mine and he kind of had a similar experience at this shop. It's like the owner kind of just doesn't care about sales or something. I don't know. If he doesn't care then why should I? I guess that's kind of where I'm at right now. But I cared enough to write this review. So you have to make up your mind if this is a place you want to visit or not. Good customer service services when you make each person feel special especially in a shop like this that revolves around nostalgia. It's not about just obtaining the item. The whole experience is a part of a magic. And if the owner isn't really invested in cultivating that then I don't know I guess the business might be on borrowed time.

The workers are always more than eager to help and will give great recommendations if you ask. I usually just come for Pokemon cards, which they have a ton of selections for! But they have tons and tons of other card selections, board games and a huge area to sit down and play if that's your thing! Im pretty sure theres a beverage area in the back too! (Will update with pics next time i go in) And pro tip from a worker: dont be scared to pick up some Japanese packs for Pokemon! Theyre way cheaper than American and the quality is a lot more likely to be Mint than anything. Take your kids or your nerdy boyfriend here for a good experience.

He even has some vintage Harry Potter collectibles, which are a rare sight for any fan. I also enjoy that the prices are very reasonable -- it feels like he is not trying to be a "reseller" in the respect that the prices are not unreasonably inflated. For instance, I purchase a Disney Nuimo that sells for about $20 brand new for only $10, which makes sense as it is a used item. But, what I tend to see with more recent resellers is that they would sell that same item for $30 simply because "you can only buy it in the parks." I will certainly be back in the future.
