There was one sales person working the register and another employee hanging out next to the register. I was not greeted or acknowledged when I entered the store or when I walked up to the register to make a purchase. As soon as I handed over my purchases and asked a question the staff came alive. My question inspired them to open up and become chatty, informative and helpful. GameStop has a rewards program called Powerup Rewards Player and Powerup Rewards Pro. The Player is free and the Pro costs $19.99 a year. Both programs benefit those who shop often. The Player gets 10 points for every dollar spent and the Pro gets 20 points for every dollar spent and a few other incentives. I do not have a membership but since your identification is your phone number I was able to get the points on the account of the person that I bought the gift for.
