Found out about this shop through Reddit and I'm so glad I went because Lauren did an amazing job on my little pig + aloe tattoo to represent the materials that were put in my skin grafts after I was burned. So I researched a s found Archie at Dark Ages. I like his artwork and of course this shop has an incredible reputation. I could bore you with all the details but I won't do that. The shop is amazing from the time you walk in the door. You feel like you are at a high end place but their prices don't necessarily reflect that. They are extremely reasonable for the quality of artists they have. Archie has only been doing this for three years but blew my mind with his skills. Super cool and man his art is unbelievable. Then Francisco (who is a legend) stops by and spends 15 minutes mentoring him and working on my tat. We both decided to finish the detailed background in a second sitting. I'm sure this place does amazing tattoos from the photos and other reviews I have seen. I have been greeted very nicely everything I have came here by tattoo artists and piercers. But DO NOT GO TO DAN, he does not know what he's doing. A friend and I came to get simple small tattoos. We went to the back with him to see not only did he not free hand the sketch, he pulled up basic fonts on his iPad and also spelled the word wrong. My friend was looking to get the word "divine" and he spelled it "Devine" my friend then told him that's not the correct spelling and he said "it is I checked it myself" just for him to go to google and it showed him the spelling was wrong, he then replied, "oh". I also asked if he could sketch out a bow. The one I showed him had details and shading. He literally got A 1D picture on the internet and pasted it onto the iPad. He did not try at all. She was unpleasant and very uninterested in providing any service to us. As we waited, 3 people behind the desk did did not offer us anything. No water. No questions to see if we needed anythjng.
