Simple helix piercing on my left ear! Andy Reeder was awesome! Even helped my son not be super freaked out with the process by making sure he wasn't getting an eyeful. Will definitely be asking for him for my next one.
I set up an appointment to have a tattoo that was done in prison fixed so it wouldn't look so "prison-y" and was honestly expecting to pay more than I did. The artist did a little drawing on me and had me look at it then got to work. She was done in under an hour and it looks so much better than it did before. She kept it simple so that when I'm ready to do the entire chest piece, it can all flow together. Super satisfied! Can't wait to be able to book my appointments for the bigger tattoos!
Sarah did a great job and took the time and effort to listen to what I was asking for and delivered!! Sarah is a great artist and the detail of the tattoo she completed was truly amazing. The studio was very relaxing, friendly and very helpful. I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. Thank you, Sarah and Dark Age Tattoo Studio for a great experience!!
My first artist was Brenna and I expected a tattoo like what she shows on her instagram. I've been very disappointed with my back tattoo and have gone back to her to have her fill in the empty spaces and make the plant look like they do on her instagram. She told me it looks great the way it was and barely added any touch ups. I feel gas lit into thinking I like my tattoo when I don't. No one is willing to fix it for me. Mani however is a class act and if you must go there he is the best.
Hailley is the best artist! She did my first tattoo and then my second and if I decide to do more, she will be my person! I was very nervous going in but she answered all my questions and helped me decide what would look best. I am so happy I went to Dark Ages and found Haill!

I waited a very long time in life to get my tat. So I sat on my idea for several years finding exactly what I wanted. One of the better known artists in Dallas said "it's too detailed for me". So I researched a s found Archie at Dark Ages. I like his artwork and of course this shop has an incredible reputation. I could bore you with all the details but I won't do that. The shop is amazing from the time you walk in the door. You feel like you are at a high end place but their prices don't necessarily reflect that. They are extremely reasonable for the quality of artists they have. Archie has only been doing this for three years but blew my mind with his skills. Super cool and man his art is unbelievable. Then Francisco (who is a legend) stops by and spends 15 minutes mentoring him and working on my tat. We both decided to finish the detailed background in a second sitting. Words cannot describe how amazed I am with the level of detail in my tat. They have a customer for life!!
I can't say enough good things about this shop. Every artist here is amazing. I've gotten several pieces done, just about finished up a sleeve. Brian Munoz is my artist, a very talented one and a blast to work with. We always have fun! It's a grand old building on the historic downtown square with a great group of folks. Do yourself a favor and stop by.
We chose this shop and Archie after months and months of research for my daughters first tattoo. He was so on time, very caring, warm, respectful, detail oriented and so impeccable with his work. He's a true artist and deserves all his recognition! His work just speaks for itself. I'm so glad I trusted him with my baby girls first piece.

I took in a few ideas to Archie, we discussed what I was wanting, he explained what they would do, and I scheduled it. I went in and Archie showed me the final layout, I spent 2 hours in the chair, and I am absolutely pleased with the final product!! If #2 ever happens, I know where I will be going!
Great customer service! Erik was very detailed in his work and captured exactly what I wanted. He took his time, especially, when I started getting antsy because I was getting tired and he worked through it well.

Lauren was absolutely amazing to work with. She took an idea that I had to combine three of my passions - puppies, plants, and puzzles - and turned it into an amazing work of art. Lauren is an amazing artist and a lovely human! Highly recommend! The Studio at Dark Age is gorgeous inside and super clean. They pride themselves in keeping in excellent standing with all the state regulations. (Kelly, Lauren's scheduler, was super helpful and friendly too!) read more

Found out about this shop through Reddit and I'm so glad I went because Lauren did an amazing job on my little pig + aloe tattoo to represent the materials that were put in my skin grafts after I was burned. I really appreciated how easy it was to schedule and organize the tattoo appt, and Lauren was wonderful to work with as we fine tuned the look, size, and placement. The tattoo itself was done even better than I expected, and they provided a very cool saniderm patch that protected it for 3 days, which delayed the constant washing / lotion that I've had to do in other tattoos. It's looking wonderful now that it's almost healed and I'm so grateful! Everyone was very nice, it's a comfortable shop, and we got to watch Brooklyn 99 while we were doing the planning and tattoo, what more could you want? read more

First of all when you walk in the place is bad ass. It looks like the Munster family won the lottery but in a Good Way. My artist of choice was Ivan. I chose him because of his amazing work with portraits he listens , he adds his own input and he doesn't BS. He allows you to do your own thing but listen to him he has more experience then you. I'm doing a sleeve and we're about 3/4 of the way done I spent two days in the chair and I'm ready to get it complete. I'll add some pictures so you can see his work. read more

Last week my husband decided to stop by and ask about getting a tattoo at Dark Age, sure enough he came out with an appointment with @Santi. Fast forward to yesterday, he came out with a tattoo and I fell in love the way it looked. Once there I asked about getting one for me, sure enough I got one as well. As my first time getting a tattoo ever, I am beyond in love with the way it came out and the way it looks on me. Santi def took care of me and was very helpful with questions I had. He was very sweet and kept me calm since I was nervous being my first one. I'm already planning on getting another one with him. Thank you Santi! I definitely recommend him. Went here on the recommendation of a friend and all the great reviews on Yelp. My sister flew in for a visit-first time without kids in 20 years. We decided to do something to remember it. Dark Age is right on the square. Our artist, Nick, was very professional and did great work. He wanted to make sure he got it right. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and unique in its layout and decor. Would definitely go here again. I highly recommend. My sister and I are both in our 50's, by the way. read more
