Loas was busy and I did not mind waiting when greeted with such a happy face. 15 minutes later everything was carefully explained to me and zip zip, it was taken care of. If you have a minor that needs ear piercing you will have a better experience at Banter Piercing Pagoda. Which is what we did! The communication regarding documents I needed to bring was not communicated in a timely fashion. I told the woman that checked us in that when I called it would have been nice to have been asked a minor or adult will be receiving the service. It was a frustrating experience and not professional. We also waited for almost 40 minutes because they want you to walk in and not make appointments. I should have taken that warning as a red flag. My daughter and I had gotten our nose piercing here a few years ago without any of these shenanigans and she was a minor. I had planned on getting a tattoo done here; however, after this experience that should have been an easy one, Nope! Owner of this establishment I hope you take this tip. read more

Y'all, I broke skin. No, really! I did it!! I've been wanting my nose pierced for over a year now, but have been too scared! I finally decided to put my brace face on and do it - and I'm happy I ventured out of the city to do so!! Dorian is an amazing piercer. She pierced my best friends belly button, and also re-opened mine. I got my belly button pierced back in 2017, and it was removed in 2018 for wrestling when the home closed. When I went to Aces, I spoke to Dorian about possibly re-piercing my belly button. She took a taper to see if it was fully shut, and to my surprise it was not. She explained the dangers of re-piercing, and gave me alternatives: tapering it open, or not having a piercing anymore. I obviously chose to taper it open. She was as gentle as she could be (considering she had to pop through skin and stretch the hole back up). She also explained everything she was doing right before she did it. Whenever I was in too much pain, since you know, it's stretching my skin, I let her know and she wound take a little break. However, at the end of the tapering process, she was able to put the jewelry in, and that was it! She explained to us how to clean it, and what we should avoid when looking at piercing cleaning solutions. She did recommend the Aces piercing cleaning solution, which works phenomenal. I have used it for my other piercings, even though they are healed, to help prevent infection. The price for your belly button varies in the jewelry you buy. They have a wide selection of jewelry, even some for sensitive skin! I love my belly piercing and I am so glad she was able to redo it for me. Piercing staff here is great. I truly don't think you will find any better than Dorian in the DFW area. Everything in this shop is extremely sterile and clean. However, the big flaw is the tattoo artists. The work they do truly is great and very very clean. However, their attitudes prevent me from wanting to return for more. Most are very set in their ways, and refuse to do something that they don't personally like. I understand an artist would never want to paint something they didn't believe in, but hey, at least listen to the idea of the paying customer! read more

I got my nose pierced here, and it healed correctly.... In June I went to get my daith pierced and today (September) it is still painful. I developed 2 keloids and they said that everything was normal and to just apply tea tree oil. I went to a different parlor and that piercer said I was pierced with a barbell that was way to short and she didn't even know how it fit in my ear. She felt so bad that she removed and changed the jewelry to a barbell that was twice as long (to give it room to properly heal) FOR FREE. She said that the keloid had gotten so big that i will have to go to a dermatologist to remove it. Not only did they pierce me with a improper piece of jewelry, they gave me false information about my keloid and now have cost me hundreds of dollars to see a dermatologist. I do not recommend this shop for complex piercings. read more

She was great, friendly and I didn't get any bad vibes from her. The piercing was quick and painless. I bought an extra nose stud for $16. She sent me off with a goodie back that included 3 jolly ranchers, after care, her card, instructions on how to care for my new piercing and, and a copy of the contract I signed.
