However, this place is definitely a bit overwhelming, with kids jumping off the walls across all points of the day. While most of the staff is kind. It's tough to get any meaningful updates on how my child's day was, and safety isn't as strong as some other places I've been (there were several times the front door was just propped open). While we'd probably use it if in a bind, I may look for summer options elsewhere that allow for full day care.

The host was great with our son, the place was clean and organized, and it was a huge hit. The simplicity for decorating with just a banner and table clothes we brought was perfect and it was very convenient to have the rolling container to wheel all the presents out to the car. Would recommend!

He really knows the game and has taught our son so much already, and he does it in such a way that they are having fun while learning. We had never heard of Newton Heath before last year, and we went back and forth with the decision, but are so glad that we are part of the Newton Heath family now. A key differentiating factor for NH is our focus on connecting with players that have a strong work ethic and desire to improve. We visit this facility once a year for Fall Regional for our Taekwondo Tournament (American…read moreTaekwondo Association). The place is HUGE! It's the first full-sized outdoor field positioned under a clear-span forty foot roof in Chicago's South Suburbs. At 125,000 square feet, the "MAX" incorporates 79,000 square feet of turf, two full-sized basketball courts, volleyball courts, and a baseball/softball academy. The entire building is climate controlled - both heat and air-conditioning - to allow for comfortable year-round usage. The field house accommodate private and public sports (clubs) like soccer, lacrosse, football, baseball, softball, basketball, volleyball, kickball, and dodge ball. They also have a spectator mezzanine which allows for terrific sight-lines from all locations and a relaxed, roomy environment for the players, coaches and spectators. During our day long event we had lunch at the concession stand but a vending area is also available. One of the cool thing I learned about the MAX was it can be rented for birthday parties. You book the party, pay the rental fee, get a party coordinator, bring a cake, pick a concession package and let the kids run themselves to sleep. Check out the website for on going events, academies, and league information.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST MANAGED GYM OUT THERE! After being a Member for 6 years now, the General…read moreManager, in conjunction with the Lifetime Customer Relations employee, decided to have my Membership suspended for calling her out on how she does not enforce ALL the policies at this location! She is allowed to pick and choose which policy she enforces. When it comes to having kids hangout in the lifting areas or in bathrooms it's a total free for all. There are plenty of signs up that clearly state no gym bags in the lifting area but yet every other person you see has a bag on them. It literally feels like a High School upstairs with all the backpacks. And when I complained, she told me she is doing her best, and whenever I see the bags up there to tell her. When I did that, I was told I was trying too hard! Then they suspended my Membership because they do not want to have to enforce ALL of their own policies. There is literally only one entrance/exit and once you go upstairs you have to go back down in order to leave. Think about what people can bring in a big old duffle bag when no one is truly enforcing the bag policy. It's scary to even think about how unprofessional this club has been managed and the liabilities they have in front of them. The suspension of my Membership for asking them to enforce their own policies is discrimination. They are trying to silence Members instead of actually making change.
