This was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail shop! The workers were rude,argumentative, and pushy. I asked for a specific color and the man tried to force me to go with the color he chose by lying to me about not having the one I decided on. I asked him to be gentle with my legs due to a medical condition and he ignored me. I left almost in tears because of the pain and the way they treated me. I Went to Darian Nails in Coolidge today, as I do every 2 weeks for the last 6 years. I Took my granddaughter with me to get her nails polished too. Every 2 weeks I pay 38.00 for a fill and always give a generous Tip!!Today my nail tech wanted to take my nails off and do a full set. I declined as I didn't want to remove my real nails. I just wanted a fill. When we checked out my nail tech tried to charge me for a full set 50.00. And 8.00 for a polish for my granddaughter. I asked her "why is she trying to charge me for a full set when all I had was a fill?!" I refused to pay for something I didn't get. I paid 8.00 for the polish for my granddaughter and tried to pay for my usual fill 38.00. Then said she was going to call the police. I waited until they got there. Long story short.... I paid the 38.00 for my fill. She is now threatening me she is going to take me to court! The officer told me that this has happened several times at Darian Nails as he has been called out for!! I will not be going back there ever again! I'm very disappointed to say the least!! I have been a loyal customer for years!! But I refuse to be overcharged!! Be careful! So sad! I moved to Coolidge about a year ago and found this nail salon. I had read horrible reviews, but thought I would try it for myself. Well, they were great until today! I walked in today with no appointment. Normally they are really good about it. But today the guy was so rude! He's one of the younger men that work there and he has done my nails before and been real short with me. But I still kept coming back. Today, my daughter and I walked in, he asked what we needed and said " you will wait long" I said okay. Well how long is long, he said you will wait 2 hours or more now mind you, there were maybe 2 people waiting...the guy was not nice at all. No manners, not kind and didn't seem to care for our business. Welp, they just lost a customer. Not that they care, but still. If my review will help someone else from being mistreated then I'm okay with that. read more

Terrible service, I went there today 9/24 /2023 at 3:45 pm. There sign clearly says that they close at 5pm and they welcome walk ins. They refuse me service. Saying that they were booked. That is BS. Change your advertising sign if you don't want to operate as you say will. Or is that you don't serve African American men. Either way your business sucks. read more

They were the only salon around that could get us in that day... We made an appointment then showed up a few minutes early. We were sat st the chairs to get pedis at our appointment time. Nobody engaged with us for 15ish minutes. Then they began working ilon our toes. The tech working on my mil got up and began working on another lady's nails and said "sorry shes got an appointment".. you know much like the one we had.. We finally get done almost 2 hours later my mil get up and one of her toes smudge. The lady comes over pissed and says sit down... literally the only other thing any of the employees said to us while there. Everyone seemed to be angry and annoyed they were there. Will not return. I gave a 2 star only because they were able to get us in.. but the rest of the experience there sucked. read more

I can't post a review without giving at least 1 star because this place deserves ZERO. I went yesterday 3/15 to get my nails and toes done for my birthday trip. I walked in and they asked which services I wanted there was hardly anyone there. Long story short, I selected the "VIP" pedicure for $60 and was told gel polish was an additional $15. Well this "VIP" pedi was horrible the young tech that sat in the first station when you walk in with the over pumped botox lips tried to do the quicker pedi I've ever had in my life and had my toe nails slanted. When she pulled out the polish and UV machine. I said, "can you file my toenails better before you polish?" She looked up at me and she replied, "which one?" UMMM all of them lol she began filing so fast, hard and was just aggressive. I said, " If the nail is slanted, why are you not filing the longer side?" She asked where?? like she couldn't see lol I pointed near the toe. This girl smacked my hand then started filing hard and fast again. I pushed her hand back and said, "what is wrong with you? That was rude and unprofessional" She unwrapped the hot towels from my legs and jumped up and said she was done and for me to come and pay and walked to the front. I walked to the front and she told me $40. I laughed and I told her I don't have a problem paying but I'm NOT paying $40. She then called the police so I sat and waited. Long story short the police came and asked me what happened I told him. She butted in and said I was yelling and screaming causing a disturbance and trying to get free service. I laughed and told him I agreed to pay but not the amount. So the officer says, " what do you guys want me to do? I can't make her pay just like I can't make you do her service" another nail tech budded in and accused me of throwing a hot towel in the other ladies face. I laughed and said wow now I did all of this AFTER the offer is not giving you the response you guys expected. Another lady that was getting a pedicure next to me walked up to pay and was shaking her head no. She told the officer they were lying. I ultimately paid the $40 because they were saying they were calling the police again! This place is a joke! I will NEVER return!! Stay AWAY!! read more

THIS BUSINESS IS AMAZING AND I LOVE ALL THE WORKERS HERE -- I had my doubts but I have been coming here for over a year now all I have to say is wow ! I love how well they do my nails every time for such a low price and I have been to places where my nails cost $100+ for a full set pink and white ombré acrylics I pay 50$ plus I tip 10$ and get my brows done for another 10$ and I tip $5 to the young lady that does them beautifully every time so I definitely recommend this place only spending 75$ every other month is worth it in my opinion anyway read more

Worst experience ever getting my nails done!!!! Never will i go back again. They screwed up my nails so bad! They split my real nails. Put on clear nails instead of the ombre like i asked for. He put on the wrong size of nails. Then tried to paing them with a sponge to make them look like ombre. All that did was make bubbles. They look like they need to be filled and I just got them done. The other ladies waiting looked at my nails and immediately saw what was wrong with them. Then the started yelling at me saying he spent to much time on them and they dont do refunds. This place was previously under different management which would explain the bad reviews. I also had a bad experience with the previous management until new owners came in and I gave them another chance. I've never went any where else since. I go get my nails done on Fridays Saturdays or Sunday's and would say for an easy in and out experience on those days either schedule an appointment or go in at around noon because they always have a solid amount of people when they first open. The mother is always going around making sure everything stays clean and presentable. I'm more of a casual 1 color kind of girl but my sister loves getting different designs and they've never disappointed. Their hot stone massage and soft wax foot peel is amazing too when I get my pedicures. They have now recently started closing on Tuesday's but are open all other days of the week. I've gotten my nails done by every person that works here and they are all good. BTW the new owners are NOT related nor do they know the previous owners of this place. read more

The older lady with the glasses is very disrespectful. Normally I have a nice experience there with the other employees & they do everything they can to make your experience fantastic but this woman made me feel so low. All day I looked forward to getting my nails done because I'm a single mother with two jobs & for once I had 3 hours to myself. It's been years since I've gotten my nails done & so I get there excited & I show her a picture of what I wanted & it's black, leapard, black, leapard & she only does one leapard for each hand but I was already there for a while so I'm like oh well no biggie but then when she starts the leapard pattern it looks nothing like the picture (Completely different color) & I see that she barely started so I show her the picture again & ask her if she could just redo the background color for the leapard because it's suppose to be a light tan color not white & she gets upset & starts talking to the employee next to her while looking at me angrily. Then she says "We no have that color". I say, "Then why didn't you tell me from the beginning so I could pick something else you didn't even ask me if white was ok?" Instead of helping me find a color closest to the color I wanted, she grabs all the nail color charts with the fake nails & throws them at me and guess what...they had the color after all. So I explain to her one more time & show her the picture so she won't forget & she does the dang white background again and in my head I'm like, "f*** lady". Even the employee next to her explained it to her and I even pointed at her apron and told her it's like her apron but lighter because her apron was a brown shade. At that point I gave up because who knows what she would've thrown at me next (just kidding) but anyways the fact that she acted like a little kid with a tantrum rather than an employee with customer service asking the customer if she can help find the preferred color that the customer wants, she made my experience terrible. Then she didn't do the arm/hand massage that comes with the manicure so you guys are charging an additional $2 for all of your services but you're not even actually doing the full service to the customer? Her attitude is horrible and I hope you're reading this too because you're representing this nail salon & if you continue to act like that towards customers, say goodbye to business. One positive thing about her is that she does a really good job at shaping the nails and if you want just a plain color, she does a good job at that too but her customer service ruins everything about her. I said hello and then the man stopped texting and barely looked up at me and said "We have something to do we aren't open now, sorry." And THEN HIS SON looked at me and said in the most brattiest way possible, "Yeahhh we aren't open!" I am from Calif visiting family in this area. Stopped for a pedi on 7/26/14. I have NEVER been treated so badly. The worker(?) caused me pain. He was obviously annoyed that I did not hold my foot up well enough for him to do his job so he grabbed my big toe very tightly so he could hold up my foot. He never spoke a word to me and was extremely rude. At the end he walked away in disgust and asked another worker to do my polish.
