(I don't want to bash this business because the first time, I was very pleased and for the most part, they aren't terrible and the prices are very reasonable. His wife usually does pedicures, and she does a fantastic job, the husband isn't bad at his job either, but he tends to have a sour attitude from time to time that doesn't make you feel welcomed and makes you feel like more of a burden that he has to be working on your nails. I won't be going back unfortunately.) Soooo... I gave this place another shot and was GREATLY disappointed. I had my first set of nails for about 2 weeks and they looked great, but unfortunately one of my nails came off when I hit it on something (expected, but pushed me to have to get another appointment set up sooner than I wanted). So I messaged them on their facebook page and showed them what happened and asked if I could get an appointment with them the very next day? They said "see you at 3" so I'm thinking "great! Now I just have to figure out what I want." I sent them a picture at 8am the next day, the day of my appointment, and ask if they can do this to my nails. They reply saying "ok". The picture I sent for reference is the one in the middle of the collage of purple nails. I walk in before 3 because the owner complained to me during my first appointment about people not showing up or being late, and he looks at me and asks if he can help me and I say "I have an appointment at 3. I messaged you last night on facebook." He looks at me confused and tells me I don't have an appointment according to his book, but he'll fit me in anyways. Already I feel awkward and paranoid that I got the time wrong or something but I'm thinking, "no, he told me at 3!" He asks me what I want and I show him my reference photo, the one he said "ok" to that morning, and he says, "they did that with a sponge." So I'm thinking to myself, "alright, but you said you could do this..." and he proceeds to say, "I don't have those colors." Now, I HATE being a complicated customer so I said, "okay, what would get us closest to this? I'm willing to get a whole new set if that's what it takes. I'll get different colors. I just really like the light purple color." He shows me different colored powders and I'm telling him that's fine with me but I want a glitter top coat, just a simple glitter top coat. But he decides now that we're gonna use gel polish, not powder acrylic, to achieve this look... when he didn't have a sponge to do it... I should have just told him to do the powder acrylic, but he already seemed annoyed to have to work on me in the first place that I just tried to be as easy of a customer for him as possible. He goes in and reshapes my nails and fixes the nail that broke off aaaand it's crooked. This I didn't notice until I left. When he gets to the polish nothing is working out right so I finally say, "you know what, just do this color. One solid color." So he does, and the nail polish is reacting funny and separating and his solution is to just put on more and warn me that the nails are going to be thick. At this point I'm thinking it won't be so bad, but my nails were goopy, and waaay thicker than I thought, and I was just so incredibly disappointed. I feel like he knew it was a terrible set of nails that he let walk out the door, but unfortunately I was too afraid to say anything right then and there. Yes I still paid, no I haven't asked for a refund. I do sincerely wish them the best. Know when to tell your customers you can't do a color or design they want. I'd rather hear, "I can't do that. I don't have the materials for it. You'll have to pick something else" than you telling me you can and ended up with what I did.

Brian is great! He's funny and he knows what he's doing. He jokes around with you and really makes you feel comfortable. He stayed late to help us all with our nails. They have a vast selection of colors for acrylic, gel, and powder. You get want you want. I went in with my other two friends and we all got our nails within 2 hours. Two of us got acrylic refills and one of us got gel powder full set. Brian suggested a matte top coat for my color and it looks stunning. I love them. They play fun music videos to listen to while you're getting whatever you're getting. They have great prices compared to the salons I've been to before. Very enjoyable experience and service. I recommend this place to everyone looking for hand and/or foot beauty services.

I wanted to treat my mom to a mani and pedi and get mine done too, so we chose DaQueen Nails and Spa. The service was "ok" no one spoke a word to either of us the whole time. Pedicure was fine, not amazing not the worst. My gel manicure was alright, but didn't soak my nails before starting. Then the guy doing my nails cut two of my fingers pretty bad with the cuticle clipper! It hurt so bad I was bleeding on both fingers! He didn't even apologize or acknowledge what he did! He got a paper towel and put alcohol on it, wiped it, and went on with the manicure! then I asked him to match my nail polish to my toes, and he didn't. He painted my nails red, and my toes were hot pink. I asked him BEFORE he started doing my nails and he insisted it matched. When he started painting I told him it doesn't match can you please remove it? The number I picked on the samples didn't match up with the number on the bottle (not my fault). Once he finally found the correct one, everything was going ok. He did not give me a hand massage that's included with a manicure, and my mom got one (which is good since I was treating her). I will not be going back to this place unfortunately. There are other salons in town that will treat you like a princess for the same price, and not cut you and let you leave with sore fingers.

Always nice to go to Fancy Nails. They have reasonable prices and a friendly staff…read more They have full body massage chairs which are so nice while getting your pedicure. Treat yourself and get spoiled by Fancy Nails staff.

I traveled down from silver city to get my nails done in a bigger city thinking it would be easier…read moreand maybe more fun. Oh how I was wrong. The receptionist (who happened to be the kindest one there) said it would be 30 for a regular pedicure without gel just normal which is perfect and fine for me. Then she said the acrylics are 60. Also perfect and I thought I was getting a good deal as I pay almost 70 here in silver. Anywho after being tossed around from dirty chair to dirty chair I sat down to finish my acrylic set and the man who did my nails was presently very rude. I accidentally ripped one of the false nails off while sitting down and he acted like it was crime to fix the nail.. after a few tense moments my anxiety kicked in and my hands started shaking. I accidentally touched the acrylic with the black paint on the side of my finger and he huffed and grabbed my hand really fast. Which then resulted in me being even more nervous. Not only did he grab my hand fast but the way he was filing my nails and treating them hurt. My thumbs are aching today and I'm full of frustration thinking about the situation. I didn't understand what he wanted me to do with each step cause he would just aggressively point and expect me to know what to do. After all this I was charged a total of almost 120 dollars I believe. Which is weird because as I stated earlier 30 and 60 does not equal 120... throughout the time getting my nails done I heard quite a few women asking why the total was so expensive. I asked as well and there was no clear answer. I couldn't go here again and I recommend others find literally anywhere else. Save your time, energy, mindset and money for a company worth it. *extra notes since I can't post a review on google* I requested a normal pedicure (20$) and an acrylic set (60$) so how in the world was the total 120? Because they didn't listen to the services I wanted even after reminding multiple people multiple times. There was toe nail clippings, finger nail clippings, false nails, all over the place. She said sit down at number 5.. the seat was clinging for dear life to be cleaned The art is messy.. would be fine if my thumbs weren't aching and had to apply antibiotic cream cause I'm terrified due to their cleanliness I will get an infection. Completely unacceptable.
