Made an appointment on a Friday morning for a haircut at 1:00 pm on Saturday. Saturday morning around 9:30 am I received a phone call that they could not accomodate me at that day and time. I was told there was a glitz in their system. I asked if I could make another appointment the following week and was told there were no stylist available at any time. I was promised a call back but never received one. They ask for a 24 hour cancelation period from clients but do not return the same curtesy to their clients! I highly recommend this salon. The hairdressers here are all very talented. I adore my hairdresser - her name is Ginger and she does my cut and color to perfection. Everyone is super friendly and the place is always clean and welcoming. The front lobby has jewelry, bags, candles, and hats for sale - al reasonably priced. They have lots of high quality hair products for sale as well. They also offer manicures and pedicures so it's a great place to get pampered. read more

I had a hair appointment with Yvette in Sept 2019. It was my first time to AWL. I chose Yvette based on other reviews. I was very disappointed with her service. I wanted a 2 color partial highlight done and specifically told her some things I was looking for. I also chose AWL because they use Kevin Murphy products. My hair was not lIght enough when it was done, and I found out Yvette did not use Kevin Murphy products at all, and instead used a different line which is more caustic to your hair. Aside from that, she was constantly chEcking her phone because her kids school was on lockdown due to weather. I'm sorry but if I'm expected to oay over $200 for a hair service, I expect your undivided attention and professional courtesy. I felt ripped off and ugly at the end of my service. read more

Just moved here and I came across this salon off yelp... from the moment I walked in I entered a friendly atmosphere I was offered something to drink which was nice!! And I met my stylist Alex he did a really great job at asking me what I was looking for and made this appointment really relaxed and comfortable... my hair came out awesome and when I came home my 7 year old said I looked younger again!! Would not recomended to my wosrt enemy avoid at all cost, after multiple conversations in person  to multiple people in this salon to go over price of service i was told the same by both people. The first appointment i made was cancelled  upon arrival saying they did not  have enough time  i was  not even 5 min late from the scheduled time, this will be my lesson learn and i should have never gone back with the poor customer sevice . The next appointment i made and uppon completion the price had doubled  from the original quote, the lady  performing the service  did not even try to go over or explain the prices in advance or during  imagine the shock when i went to pay. Really sad the staff will mislead you and tell you completely different story. For sure the other reviews about this salon are by friends and family and not satisfied clients. read more
