1 out of 5 stars I went to Destiny Nails for a regular manicure with polish, and unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience. My nails were not shaped at all, and the polish was not applied properly. The layering was uneven, with visible divots and thick patches that didn't dry smoothly--even after allowing plenty of time. The skin around my nails was not taken care of--cuticles were left hanging, dry, and rough. It didn't look or feel like a professional manicure. Overall, my hands looked dry and unfinished, not refreshed like you would expect after a salon visit. I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I expected better quality and care. I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve their services. read more

I think it's safe to say I've found my nail place in Cruces. I've gone to so many nail salons feeling awful after because I didn't get what I wanted or they were too rough. I came in to destiny with old acrylics on, as a walk-in. I came in about an hour before close. I was sat right away. Holly was my nail artist. I have to say-- my nails have never been in such good shape after acrylic removal. She took her time with every single nail, repeatedly soaking and removing even though I came in an hour before close. My nails filed, my cuticles removed, and hand massage after. She was very gentle and everything was perfect. They'll definitely be seeing me again. read more

Although Destiny does well with nails, her husband's pedicures are only so-so. I'm giving only one star, though, because they have no integrity when it comes to appointment times. When I walk in, they say they are all booked and there is no time that day. When I call and book an appointment, they give away my service time to a walk-in as I'm on my way, even though I phoned promptly at 11 to tell them I'd be 3 minutes late. They played a game when I tried to re-book, offering later and later times in the day when I said I needed the service at my appointment time. They booked another walk-in as I was still on the phone and about to arrive. This is incredibly rude. No integrity or honesty. I won't patronize a business that treats its regular customers this way. This Catch-22 BS about bookings is too much. read more

I went and asked for a full set and a simple French tip with chrome. She told me they could do it and sent me to someone's chair. When I walked in it smelt so bad and the vibe was horrible. The employee at the station next to mine was on her phone and burping. Highly unprofessional. The man who was doing my nails didn't even ask me what I wanted and just started. I made the mistake and told him too short and when I asked him to fix it the lady came over and told me they were the exact same length as the picture I showed her (they were clearly not). As he was drilling my nails he burned me multiple time. I asked for square and they are all different shapes and everything looks bad. I decided when he was painting my nails to just do the chrome because I didn't think it would look good anymore with the French tip because of the awful length and shape. I am very disappointed because this service cost 75 dollars. The whole experience was horrible and I do not recommend. In the pictures I showed it doesn't seem that bad but in person it is truly horrible. read more
