I've followed Cindy from one shop to another. When she opened Elegant Nails I was thrilled for her. They always get me in, even without an appointment, though I try to make one. I generally only get a pedicure, now with the addition of a neck and shoulder warm fragrant pack while getting the pedicure, it's heaven. I have been using Cindi as my esthetician work for about fifteen years. She has been a very successful businesswoman in Las Cruces and has acquired and sold businesses to move up to her current excellent location off Lohman. Cindi and her staff have always provided me with excellent pedicures and brow waxes and in the last five or so years, my husband has started coming with me. She is very careful about the employees she hires and keeps and her shop and equipment are always spotless. First, technician watched and listened to her phone through whole process. I dont need her to entertain me but you need to watch what you're doing! Also, another tech was at the sink where we wash hands and he was free blowing his nose into the sink! Gross! Also, could be cleaner. read more

Great nails. Terrible customer service, yelled at me for not wanting to get a certain pedicure and after forcing me to do so I asked for the lady to change something on my nail and she proceeded to file it down extremely aggressively and dug into my skin leaving me with a nasty burn/cut on my toe that got extremely infected and still hasn't healed a week and a half later. Everyone in there was extremely rude and made it very obvious that they were talking about me and my family members who had went in with me. Overall was a bad experience and it definitely wasn't the first bad experience I had with them and their service. Nails do come out nice depending on what you get and last a reasonable time. read more

I was patient because they were very busy but by the time they finally got to me they forgot to paint one of my toe nails!

My feet have NEVER LOOKED WORSE. I went earlier today with my sister and was super patient because it looked short staffed and waited over 30 mins understandingly, no problem. What I did have a problem with the guy who did my feet, not only hurt me multiple times but was extremely rude. I told him I did not want my nails cut and just filed to square, he told me no and did it his way cutting my nails all the way down to the point of breaking skin and bleeding. Every single one of my toenails are like this and they are in extreme pain. My big toe and pinky toe have been bleeding since my appointment. The guy didn't seem to care, scoffing and laughing at me when I told him he's hurting me and that I did not like his work on my feet at all. I will be going back tomorrow for a FULL REFUND because this work on my toes could cause an infection that I truly hope I don't get. Extremely disappointed, upset, and in pain is an understatement. Horrible customer service, horrible work, horrible attitude, just horrible anything and I'm usually one to give grace but repeatedly hurting me and potentially an infection is where I draw the line. I better get my refund as well because this is truly ridiculous. read more

I went to get a full set of acrylics done for my graduation, it took me almost an hour to be seated. Once I was finally seated the man doing my nails rushed through it because he wanted to be done, my full set of acrylics took 30 minutes which is not normal, my cuticles were not pushed back or cut apparently it's an extra 10$ for that. My acrylic came out super thin and are very fragile. He was very rough while filing them also I will not be going back there. read more

Two days ago I got a pedi from here- they clipped my nails too close and pulled my skin off! I kept bleeding and the nail tech tried to get it to stop. I think she used skin glue to get it to stop. Well, I have been using hydrogen peroxide daily to make sure it doesn't get infected. It has bubbled when I clean it. I can't wear closed toed shoes because it hurts and I can't use lotion or sunscreen because it stings. I didn't think it was a huge issue at the time- I paid and tipped. Today, I am hoping i don't get an infection. read more

Ms.Linda at Elegant Nails! Is An amazing very caring and compassionate I suffer from artritis because of scleroderma and it's very painful for me to get my nails done to the point were I bleed easily. Once I explain to Ms.Linda my situation she understood and was very careful it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend everyone to go here. Other places kept denied me service because my fingers are bent due to my arthritis so it's very difficult to do my hands. Thank you Ms.Linda ! You made my day! I was about to cry of happiness. I had taken my niece, to get an acrylic full set. Unfortunately, she had the male owner as her nail tech. She is 13 yo and going to her first Quince. She didnt like the first color she chose, so she chose a second color. The color on the pallette wheel was one color and once the gel was actually on nail and under the UV light was a different color it was a neon pink when it was dry. My niece was unhappy. As a paying customer I asked the owner-nail tech that she didnt want that color, she wanted a baby pale pink. Well he showed his nasty side by raising his voice at her and I so much so that the other customers felt bad for her and told her she is a pretty girl. He raised his voice at me said he has other customers waiting. I told him there is no reason to raise your voice and get upset. He did a terrible job, after I paid she had polish on her fingers on the inside of both hands. Her sister was in the ER so she was already stressed. This was suppose to be a happy experience. I called the owner when I got home as I was so mad. I told him I would have paid for each color. That he was rude and unprofessional and to bully a 13yo was terrible. I told him I will never step foot in his business again and will tell everyone of my horrible experience at Elegant Nails. read more

Went in this afternoon they are always nice and usually do a great job. That being said they are always penny pinching. I paid for a service but they did not have the tools, "it broke" told to come back next week while my feet are in the water. They did not have my first or second choice of polish. My nails are not all the same color the tech was skimping so much on polish she couldn't even repeat it on every nail. I like this place but the penny pinching is over the top. I won't go back again. This my first time I've been to this salon. Definitely will be my last. They charged me $45 for a dip that looked like it was done by a 3 year old. After expressing concern they told me they would remove $5 for the total price. Total joke and this is not how you handle a problem when a customer is upset about the amount of money and time they spend to be at your salon! Waste of money and my time because she took way to long to do a dip on nails sessions ( around an hour and a half). Bunch of pretend nail techs! read more

Paid $60 for dip. That is more than anywhere else I've ever had them done. But to top that the nails were not shaped as I had asked, one broke within 24 hours, and when I went back to have it repaired was told after she "repaired" it that they charge $5 for repairs even on their own work. Which is a first!. Then the "repaired" nail is horrible, it is not smooth like the rest and much thicker. Basically a quick job to get me out as quick as possible. WIll not be going back. read more

lazy. they want to do anything but what you suggest even if you are paying for it because it's less work. I had an old acrylic toenail I wanted removed and she suggested I keep it (it had grown out too far and she didn't want to fill it). I said to fill it or remove it. I requested clear acrylic then they didn't want to do that. they said they didn't know what I already had on it and would use the regular powder (for a sheer gel overlay that would follow). I simply paid for the pedicure and left. I said that I'd do it at home. what a shame! read more
