I came to Dapper Man to buy a tuxedo for my wedding. My bride to be had a very specific look. David was able to order the exact suit that I wanted and it was reasonably priced. I was surprised to learn that I would have to get my pants hemmed once I had possession. David did provide a recommendation for a seamstress who did a great job, but it was a step I didn't think I would have to do ordering a custom suit. My suit looked amazing until my jacket button popped off on its maiden voyage. Luckily we had already made it into the reception hall and the important photos were done. I did enjoy the experience but don't believe I will be a repeat customer. I do hope to wear my tuxedo again once I get my button sewn back on. read more

I went to Dapper Man for my wedding coming up and I recommend anyone looking to buy suit type apparel to do the same. I just messaged the owner through text to schedule a meeting and he was very willing to work with my schedule. When i met him for my appointment, his knowledge of his craft is apparent. I thought I was late to submit my order but I was sized and received my tux very quickly with plenty of time before the wedding. All for a price competitive or cheaper than other businesses. My dad went into this place a few weeks ago. The owner called him fat and told him to lose weight. After making him feel uncomfortable and telling him that every suit was wrong for him my dad left and hoped to just never go back to that place again. If you are the owner reading this, do better. Our suits looked amazing and were great quality- but we ordered them in November 2018 after meeting in April 2018. We didn't get the *completed* suit until a day before our wedding- April 2019 (talk about a stressed bridal party). David told us we would have everything a month before the wedding. Although they were affordable and our guys got to keep them, I don't know if saving the extra money was worth the hassling and constant "check ins". Edit: After speaking with David after my review post, I will clarify that we got the suit jacket and pants 2-3 weeks before the wedding, the white undershirt 5 days before the wedding and ties the day before the wedding. He did drive to Turlock to hand deliver them in efforts to make it right- although still made for a stressful day before the wedding especially when they were fitted and organized 6 months prior. read more

Not once did David give off bad vibes or being irritated at the fact I wanted a different look for the groom & groomsmen. David worked with me and gave me different options & looks. Every time we chatted he left me feeling at ease that everything would be ok. Our group had maybe more challenges as far as availability with coming in and getting sized by David. We had 4 groomsmen from out of town which made me REALLY nervous, but again David gave them options to have their measurements done and sent in. Unfortunately, once suits arrived we soon realized that all 4 groomsmen who got their measurements done at (Mens warehouse DO NOT GO THERE) they were off!!! I was in a complete state of panic we were days away from our wedding date! I don't know how David did it but he managed to get them all the correct sizes just in time!! and NOT ONCE was he upset, irritated or rude to us! All the groomsmen LOVED their suits and even more that they got to keep it!! ( which apparently they all missed that memo lol ) Long Story Short.. you will not be disappointed with his services! The quality of the suits is really poor. He takes your measurements and all the suits come baggy and long from the pants. You literally have to get the whole suit fitted because his measurements are completely off. Aside from that the quality of the suit looks like something you would find at a flea market. What he basically did was told us to try different size suits and ordered most likely from a chinese distributer or some cheap company in los angeles and just resold them to us as a tailored suit that is completely off. Also the shirt that comes with the suit is garbage it is super cheap read more

This store doesn't know anything about suits. His material is cheap, and when I got the suit it didn't fit at all. The jacket and pants were too small. Then when I contacted him he continued to insult me about not knowing suits, and how he only used the measurements he was given. He also wanted me to pay more money, so he could fix the issue. I told my family not to go through a store that forces it customers to buy the suits. Horrible tailor that doesn't know what he's doing. read more
