Morgan did a great job of asking questions that helped our bride narrow things down, but she didn't pressure her at all in any direction. She was also protective of our bride. I had a very specific vision for what I wanted in a dress that I couldn't find at the other three stores I went to. Here I am able to work with the designer to customize several details on the dress as it's being made! One thing I also enjoyed about the appointment was that I had the entire shop to myself. Then it turned into July, then October, and still nothing as of November 2nd. Went to the store and told me that it wasn't supposed to ship until November 13th with an unknown arrival date. After 9 months of waiting and empty promises, and only 6 months to go until my wedding day, I cancelled the order. After some research, I found Ricca Sposa to be the next closet Pronovias retailer - 4 hours away. Karina was amazing with everything being handled over the phone. She reassured me through the whole process and was extremely responsive with any questions I had. Without asking, they lowered the price to almost match the previous purchase cost from the other store. I ordered my dress in the afternoon of 11/2 and it already arrived to their store in the afternoon of 11/11. Karina was kind enough to call me the minute the dress arrived and sent a quick video before sending it off. It arrived at my house less than 24 hours later. As excited as I was, I forgot to message her and inform her of the arrival. She emailed me at 7 am this morning (the next day) to make sure I received it. I truly can't express how grateful I am for Karina making my dream dress become a reality during a stressful time.

I have learned the consultants can make or break an appointment and you do not want one who cannot be hospitable for at least 5 minutes.

The dressing room was spacious and beautiful. The clothing was well made and stylish without breaking the bank expensive. The woman who was working told me they hold garments until the end of the day if I wanted to come back and try anything on without my baby girl present. I did wind up trying on a dress while I was there and the attendant was so helpful and kind not only to me but to my daughter. The pitch is that they compliment how you are dressed, chat a bit (or flirt in some cases) and then they ask for your business. They will interrupt if you are having a conversation. They also don't know their stuff or they would recognize a custom made suit. Other random folks do recognize this and will call it out in a compliment once in a while. Tom James' sales folks look like a deer in headlights when they are told that there is a difference between made to measure and custom made. Train your salespeople on product, not to interrupt folks with fake compliments. It's wildly annoying. In one instance, there was a salesperson who contacted me through a friend (i.e. in a professional manner), so I took her appointment. I was "guaranteed" that Tom James could make a made to measure fit me at less cost than a custom suit. I gave it a try. I couldn't get the pants over my thighs and could barely get my arms into the ill-fitting suit coat. They did give a refund, but it was a lot of wasted time picking out clothing.
