Recently learned from another dealership where my truck was towed, that the sparks plugs were "Hand Tight" at best. Dean's failed to reattached the wires to the plugs properly which caused more issues. I recommend NOT USING DEAN'S. Very disappointed with the damage and very expensive additional repairs needed because of their negligence.

Our 2003 CR-V has had some starter issues, and Mike and his crew were able to quickly discover that the wiring was done improperly on a starter that was installed out-of-state. He also discovered that someone had not properly tightened the valve cover gaskets and they were leaking after a valve adjustment. Our experience is that Mike PAYS ATTENTION TO DETAILS AND GOES THE EXTRA MILE, WHICH MATTERS IN A SLOW GROWTH ECONOMY WHERE THERE ISN'T A LOT OF MONEY LAYING AROUND AT THE END OF THE MONTH, AND YOU WANT VALUE FOR YOUR DOLLAR. That said, I think many people are trying to get the most value out of their vehicles these days, and run them as long as possible. I think Durham Auto is the place to go for solid work at a fair price. He's thorough, explains car problems well, and does a good job of communicating the various options for car owners. Even though we now live out of state, residing in Massachusetts, we are going to do everything possible to see if we can make the trip and bring repairs to Mike and his team at Durham Auto. He's honest and knows his stuff. And he has very qualified mechanics. On a scale from 1 to 10, I'd give Mike a "10" for quality service with a smile. We were even looking at used cars for our daughter who lives in New Mexico, and had we decided to help her with a used car, the ones that Mike has on his lot were clearly very well maintained and looked great. In the future, I'd seriously consider buying a used car from him, too. Bottom line: I like my vehicles to be running correctly, and be fixed properly, and I know I'm picky about that, so that's why we go to Durham Auto. We're extremely grateful for his service. Joe Duddie cost us our vehicle due to his negligence, and we were forced to take him to civil court, where a judge ordered him to return our payment. Despite this, Joe ignored the court's deadline, and even after I personally reached out and gave him an extra 24 hours to respond, he never replied. Joe Duddie is not the kind of person who takes accountability. He lies, leaves out critical information about the work he performs, and when things go wrong, he refuses to take responsibility. Just like others have shared in their reviews, our experience echoes a pattern of shady practices -- Joe performs faulty work that ends up ruining vehicles, and then refuses to inspect or correct his own mistakes. This is not an honest mechanic. Do not trust this man. Do not bring your vehicle here.
