Was late ordering a costume online so I looked up the closet costume shops that had ren fest attire and Danny's was one of the ones that had some great reviews, and after seeing lots of pictures, I knew this would be the place. Ren fest is almost over, so I knew it could be a hit or miss but it was definitely a hit!!! There were so many options, and what's wild is that he said if you come months back there's even more options available, that'd he sold over half the merchandise then, which I can believe! This shop has everything for men, women and babies and so many options to choose from. Prices vary based on your budget which is nice too, but if you're looking to go all out, this is your place! read more

Had the absolute pleasure of walking in here on a random Saturday for some accessories, and left without a small piece of my heart, as the owners had snatched it right up. This husband and wife are some of the sweetest people I'd ever met, & man, can they stock up a store! The inside of this location is ginormous; filled with affordable costume galore. From local theatre shows, all the way to your next EDM festival, this place has what you need (and more)! Thanks again to the lovely couple whom I hope still love me after giving this very late review. read more

BAD PLACE!!! 3 workers were harassing me the whole time trying to snatch the things out my hands when I was minding my own business shopping they kept following me causing a problem. Then telling me I need to change in front of the mirror which is just out in the open. So unless want them to see you change with no privacy go there! worst costume place I've ever been to. Don't waste your time there. read more

Nice people who own this place! Big selection! Not only that, they are huge Jimmy Buffett fans! How is that bad?!

How can I even start, this place is heaven for everyone that loves dressing up, I went in looking for something is specific and I got all the help I needed and so many options, everyone was so lovely and nice, the store is super clean and everything is so easily to find. I got to meet the owner and he was so amazing and fun to talk to, made me want to ask for a job (I didn't), he was so easy to talk to and turns out that we both new a lot of the same people, small world, love it, I can't wait to come back, so much fun and so many cute little costumes for the pups read more

1st time here and if you want legit costume then come here!! Party city is a joke compared to this place!! I recommend this place to everyone this year!! You won't know what to be once you step into this place. Soooo much to choose from read more

Sent me an incomplete costume in worn/used packaging, they tried to blame it on the postal service (somehow they swapped out the new costume with a used costume, put in new priority mail package and sent to me?) initial customer service response was good until I asked them to make it right. Now my emails are being returned, saying mailbox full and the review link that they sent me will not work. I will be disputing with my credit card company and reporting this business as well as sharing my review on many public forums. I don't want anyone else to get ripped off by this company. read more

My son needed a Davy Crockett outfit for his 4th grade project, and the worker was so helpful bringing us exactly what he needed. He got lots of compliments on his outfit, too! read more

Manager is rude for absolutely no reason. Checked out today and bought three items and we were charged incorrectly off the bat. We came right back in to fix it and receive our refund WHICH THE THE BUSINESS the WORKERS SHOULD BE SORRY FOR RATHER THAN RUDE ABOUT. Asked if I could switch out something and immediately he told me NO REFUNDS rudely again WHILE HES FIXING THE MISTAKE AND BY THE WAY ISNT NICE ABOUT. I literally don't understand how businesses run with terrible customer service. All you could've said was the same thing but nicely since we are coming back in TO RECTIFY YOUR MISTAKE. Will not be back. Been a customer here for years and I never even write reviews however I don't see the point when someone has a bitter attitude and tone to you. It's not a nice look and it's embarrassing to me to go somewhere and spend my money only to feel embarrassed and upset in public BY YOUR ATTITUDE. read more

My husband and I came here looking for something unique to were to our wedding which took place at the Texas Reinassance Festival this past weekend. We received excellent customer service. Not an adult store. You know the kind with the.... and the... um... But they do have. A really impressive collection of costumes. Lots of different version of the whatever you're envisioning! So if one style isn't reserved, fancy, crazy or fun enough for you they have other options. I forgot her name but the staff here knows their stuff. They're not a popup temporary shop. They're here all year so they know their merchandise. One year, I rented a costume for 50 but I bought one here at at maybe 30. Great selection, knowledgeable staff and competitive prices. Thanks guys read more

This is the best Halloween shop this side of Houston. I actually like it better then the party town off of the 10 freeway. Even though that place is extensive. My friend and I always try to out do each other for Halloween. So he and I went To Danny's this past Halloween and ended up sending 2 hour in there, with Danny himself, discussing blood, adhesives and prosthetics. I ended up getting a bunch of slashes and gashes to make my undead look as gruesome as possible. The blood and prosthetics can look really realistic and I love all the compliments I got that night. Danny also knows about all the latest and greatest thing in the industry. Such as, all those awesome contacts that change your eyes are now illegal to sell in none stationary shops. Shops like Danny's or some of the 'Love' shops. Do to them being so bad for your eye. You can still get them! Just not from these shops. He also carries a new prostatic that isn't latex and can be put on like a temporary tattoo. They last for up to 5 days and are supper ez. I do not think they are the cheapest around. But, it is a very good selection, really good advice and customer service. I can't ask for more. See you next year! read more

This place has EVERYTHING. And most of it is good quality stuff. The staff are all very nice and friendly and ready to help you with what ever you need. My buddy needed some Octoberfest Liderhosen (sp) and bought an outfit for his girlfriend and rented an outfit for himself. My big score was to find platform pimp shoes in size 13 with a fish in the heel. Silver glitter ones. Are you kidding. I'm going to rock Halloween 70 style. read more

Best place for Halloween, Renaissance festival, and/or costume occasions hands down! This place has a lot to offer, from the regular costumes you find at other stores to costume rentals which are surprisingly affordable and they have a huge assortment of rentals! Not only that but accessories, prosthetics, makeup, wigs, hats, shoes etc. are abundant, with a lot of variety to choose from! The employees are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful to say the least! They have plenty of choices in costumes, and they make it feel like you are in a custom costume shop! read more

Love Love LOVE this place! I hadn't been since I was a kid, but knew I HAD to go to check out their costumes for an up-coming Halloween party. I was looking for an adult Elsa costume and came across one on my own while browsing the store that wasn't quite what I was looking for. A store associate approached me to make sure I was finding what I needed and was able to direct me to another section of the store that had a much cuter Elsa costume. I was then assisted in that section by another helpful associate that found my costume and accessories. I was very pleased with help I received, and everyone was very nice and seemed to be having a blast working there. This place is THE BEST! read more

Wow, this place is awesome!!! It's pretty big and they have unique stuff, not like all those other Halloween places that have cheap costumes. Apparently, they stay open year round and also have seasonal decor. I'll have to come back during Christmas to check out their selection and I'm definitely doing my Halloween costume shopping here next year too! read more

Danny's Trix & Kix - Amazing selection!!! - Costumes Near Me - Spring, Texas

I love this place!!! I've been going here for a couple years now, they are always top of my list when I need anything costume related. I mean I drive an hour and a half away just to come to them cause I know they are going to have what I'm looking for, and if they don't the staff there know where I can find it usually read more

These guys are great! Always greeted with exceptional customer service and an honest intent to want to be helpful.

The process was so smooth in renting the Santa costume for my corporate event! I was in and out in no time. Clean costume as well.

This is a place you go to rent a costume. If you are looking to buy one, they don't care about you. My family was ready to buy 6 costumes but we waited an hour to see if they had a smaller size in the back for my 6 year old. No one would bother to look. They weren't busy. They staff doesn't care and there is an apparent lack of any management on the weekend. The prices are higher (not outrageously higher) than any other costume store but you'd think the service is what you are paying for. With no costumer service, it's not worth it. You'd get more attention and service at Walmart or target and that's saying something read more

Great wigs and costume selection. The service is also very friendly and try to get to you as quickly as possible when busy. The guy is also very straightforward and knowledge when it comes to costume stuff so it's great if you have questions about the care or quality of them or need suggestions on where to go read more

This is a great place for costumes for anytime of he year! The staff is awesome. They have helped me put together ideas from costumes to makeup and have been so amazingly enthusiastic about it. What I love about these guys is that if they don't have a solution or are helping me search for more ideas they have no problem asking advice from another coworker. I learn a thing or two every time I walk into the store! I love it! read more

My husband & I completed the great 'Tour de Houston Costume 2010' today! We've gone to ALL the major costume joints in and around Houston - super fun way to get to know our new locale! We found Danny's to be staffed with helpful, concerned folks who really wanted to help us look our best this Halloween. They went the extra mile to special-order a costume for me -and- they allowed us to try on as many as we needed to ensure fit. They were really kind and had a terrific selection of costumes, wigs, make-up and accessories! If you're searching for a costume for yourself, your kids, your pets, your grandma ... make sure you go to Danny's first! You totally won't be sorry! :) Have fun, Houston! read more

Danny's Trix and Liz is chock full of everything you could need or want for your costume needs, whether it's gearing up for Halloween, the Texas Renaissance Festival, Christmas parties or your favorite movie premiere, fan event or Comicpalooza this place has it all!. Conveniently located to service and assist you on the North side of Houston, the permanent staff is knowledgeable in stage make up techniques, costuming, alterations, and more. I've been going here for years and every time they've been helpful and if they didn't have what I was looking for, then they knew where to get it. I will continue to shop here and recommend it to all of my friends and family. read more

This is where just about every professional and student costumer goes to pick up supplies if you're not in Houston proper. Huge rental selection crossing just about all time periods, different fantasy themes, and usually has something for just about every major show. Also has a solid stage and special effects make up selection. I forget his name, but there's a man who works there regularly that is very knowledgable about their products. I recall they carry a lot of Mehron and Ben Nye. If they don't have what you want and you're willing to wait a week or two they'll order whatever you need. Also carries wigs, sexy costumes, and Halloween-style bag costumes. read more

My all time favorite costume boutique open year round! They have costumes in the package, DIY plus accessories and rentals. Wigs and makeup, they have it all. Bought some samurai swords for a Hefty price, and they broke down the next day. I went back to the store the very next day I bought them looking for some sort of compensation/replacement Three days after I bought the malfunctioning swords they managed to give me a full refund and informed me they would look for a better seller in the future. All-in-all I didn't quite get what I wanted the first time, but they fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. Would definitely shop here again read more

Don't go here unless you like people to treat you like you don't matter. Found a great pair of boots on their website. Went to the store to purchase them. They could only find one of the boots in my size. The man who helped me said he would find the other boot and call me to pick up the following day. The next day I checked back and they still had not located the boot. He said he would find it that night. Next day was Saturday. I called to see if I could pick up the boots. He rudely informed me that they were really busy and if he had found the other boot he would have called me. Now at this point he could've just said they weren't able to find it and suggest that I get boots somewhere else. No they just kept promising they would find it. Today Monday I stopped in again to see if they had found it hoping Monday would not be as busy. Another employee finally told me they didn't know where it was and they weren't going to look for it any longer. It would've been a hell of a lot better if they had just told me in the beginning that they weren't going to make the effort to find it and I would have ordered them elsewhere, I guess my $50 sale was as important to them. Now it's too late to order them in time for Halloween. I'm so disappointed in this store and their inability to keep proper track of their inventory. Their customer service is terrible! save your time and money and shop elsewhere! read more
