Dishonest, liar and a scam. Dionicio and this business are a Scam! Ran away with our money. DO NOT…read moreEMPLOY! Let me start by saying this business and its owner Dio is a SCAMMER. Do not fall for his references like we did. Do not give him any advance upfront. His license is expired as of Sept 2025. We contracted Dio on June 18th 2025 for two bath renovation project at our home after a sincere referral. His appetite to extract money out of us became evident from the get-go. Once he gets the advance and does an incomplete demolition, he asks for 2nd installation. Reaching him on call or text was a pain thereafter. I ended up being the project manager/coordinator working with the labor, plumber, electrician, tiler etc. He lies through his teeth. he lies about pricing and will take extra money from you. For e.g., he asked $350 for a window worth $119 and when confronted would just laugh. Incompetent and insincere - forgets about original project plans and makes mistakes then asks for more money to repair those mistakes. Orders incorrect tiles, incorrect cabinets. (After 2.5 months of excuses, lies and fake tears Dio absconded with money without paying labor, electrician, tiler etc. I felt terrible for them as they were equally scammed. They quickly packed their tools and took off when they realized they were not going to see any money. THE AFTERMATH: 1. Lost money to Dio + lost money with suppliers: All the places where we had paid for material such as Cabinets, Tiles that exclusively work with contractors refused to release the material that WE PAID FOR with our credit card because Dio wasn't there for pick up. We lost thousands of dollars there. 2. Still incomplete project: We are still living this nightmare as any new person who we called for quote to finish the remaining work is also taking advantage of our situation and quoting ridiculous amount of money. We will need to take out loan to pay such amounts. 3. There is so much waste he left behind that we now need to pay to get rid of. Even more loss. 4. Not worth the stress: The constant stress working with Dio since day 1 is not worth saving a couple of thousand dollars. I ended up spending money at the doctors due to all the health woes that come with stress. The state laws do not support consumers and thus allows for such scammers to continue their nasty work. This experience has left our house in a mess and with both our baths incomplete we are at our wits end. We are rebuilding from this slowly and hindsight is 20-20. As we connect all the dots, Dionicio was always planning to take off with money. Each week we hear more homes around us that he took advance from and ran off. I'm sharing my experience in full honesty here so that it benefits others. Not only will you lose money, but you will also lose your peace of mind and health working with this scammer.

The team understood my top priorities for front yard landscaping, quickly proposed a few designs, which would work well for our area compared very well to neighborhood and the final outcome did really stand out very well and our front landscape was received by neighbors. The following year we had Danny's Landscaping services come out and build a retaining wall and steps down from backyard to front yard and also plant few trees and shrubs. Once again I loved the consult, it was valuable, quality and they quality of trees and shrubs delivered and installation was perfect. They always completed the job before time. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again, must recommend!!!

Update: one day after I posted the following review, the owner replied trying to judge me…read morepersonally based on my previous reviews. They couldn't even disproof a single point in my review because they're all true. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this business. Original review: Before they started this Landscape & Construction service, they used to provide cleaning service, and that was totally a disaster! Danny, his son, and the whole team was super unprofessional! 1. Recklessness - The cleaners only cared about having their cleaning work done as soon as possible, and didn't show any care on handling the stuff they needed to touch or move. For almost every time, they caused temporary or permanent damages to my items. For example, they once attempted to use steel wool to clean our range top, causing permanent scratches; they violently pulled out the blind hold down bracket and left it permanently damaged; they accidentally started the microwave oven and let it run empty for several minutes; they turned the thermostat setting to heating to 84F and we realized it after the furnace had kept running nonstop for almost 24 hours; they unplugged our water boiler and warmer without bothering to plugged back in, which we found out only when we needed hot water; they tilted the security camera angle and it couldn't capture useful footage. As a result, every time they came to do a cleaning service, I had to anxiously waiting, and the first thing after they left was to do a thorough check to see if they broke anything again. 2. They randomly raised the prices several times without advance notice, i.e. demanding a higher price than we previously agreed only after the service was done. For example, for once they said "Because of extra cost due to COVID measures, I need to raise the price by $25" - this is understandable, but not after they finished the service. And "Because you didn't do cleaning for the past two months due to COVID, this time there was a $50 extra charge." "We spent extra time in the past two services so $50 extra each." Again, each time they demanded, it was after the service. 3. They consistently put our garbage into wrong bins, for example, they put trash into compost bin. Whenever this happened, I had to get deep into the dirty bin and take the garbage out. I've complained to them so many times, and it kept happening again and again. Their whole work was cleaning service and putting garbage into correct bin should be a very basic requirement. This is incredible unprofessional. 4. They don't have a fixed schedule, and only schedule the service one day ahead. And more than often, they frequently change the schedule in the last minute. Of course this works super convenient for them, but at a cost of customers. We could not plan ahead to get prepared for their service (because we had to leave out of the house for several hours). It happened pretty often that we had already scheduled everything to prepare their arrival - should I work in the garage or take the kid out? When would the kid take a nap on that day? When did I start the dishwasher and make sure there's no dirty dishes in the sink? When should I make sure all the small items that are vulnerable to their violent handling were properly stored? And they postpone and cancel right before (or even after) the previously scheduled time. Furthermore, they often didn't show up on time and wouldn't respond to my text. For the last time, they already postponed the service date once, and less than one hour before the start of the service, they told me that they'd arrive two hours later. Two hours had passed, and they told me they couldn't do it until next week. I cancelled the service immediately and felt better than ever.

They finally did show and about an hour into the job I went outside to find one of their workers urinating on the side of our fence. They did not sand properly (we paid the total for the job) and we've tried to get them to come back out to complete the job. Frank came out and said he'd schedule the repair but he never did and now no one returns our calls. They also said they sealed it but we have moss growing in the surface of our pavers.
