I came here for lunch with a few friends and the sandwiches and drinks were so yummy. The potato salad is a must-try! I chatted with the person in the back cooking our food and both them and the cashier were so friendly. They even gave us a free lemon drizzle donut! We came back the next morning for breakfast and I had the avocado toast. I wasn't expecting much but the sun dried tomatoes and fresh veggies had so much flavor. 3 Stars at best, and that's me being generous. I'm not quite sure what all the hype is about. We were very excited to try out this adorable little spot on our way back to LA from Big Bear.. but something left us feeling discontent. The donuts were hard, especially the sprinkle donut. The blueberry donut was slightly better but not that great in flavor. The frosting wasn't good. It just didn't work. A bit too sweet, a bit too hard. We didn't finish any of them. Nonetheless, the coffee was delicious! The service was polite and efficient and the everything bagel with cream cheese was divine! They had vegan donuts so I was all the way in. They use the same equipment as the non vegan but they make sure to write it on the sign. I loved that transparency. The vegan donuts were amazing! Cute little donut shop that also has Taco Tuesday! Workers are really warm and friendly. Food is fresh and flavorful. Went in the morning for the highly recommended Pineapple Fritter (which was huge). It was as everyone described-huge, "juicy", sweet and satisfying! Could've easily split it between 4 people. I also got a blueberry donut which was delicious! Went back for tacos. The place was packed with locals. Got three tacos and a quesadilla, which was more like a big taco. First time trying Dank Donuts and we decided to grab half a dozen donuts while my family prepared breakfast at the cabin. We ordered cronuts, old-fashioned donuts, and donut holes. Walked in Monday morning around 8:20 AM. First time trying out these donuts . Read so many great reviews and as someone who comes up to BB often it was in my list of things to try. Walked in and wasn't greeted and the cashier just gave off the vibe that he didn't want to help us . He wasn't necessarily rude but he didn't seem happy to serve us or have us in there either. As for the donuts the long John's had way too much bread . The cinnamon roll was the best I'd say 8/10 if was fluffy and had great taste. The apple fritter was also just OK 6/10. What we did like about the fritter was that it was flaky . Would we come back ? Probably not. Do I think it's worth you trying them out? Sure! I hope you have a better experience . Cool looking donut shop close to the zoo, they have outdoor sitting, and sell beer and food. I ordered a cold brew, as well as roughly 12 donuts, paid close to $70 dollars. The donuts were mid, and the coffee was watered down. Not worth the price! read more

My family & I came on a weekend trip and heard the donuts are really good here. The apple critters are massive (bigger than my hand) and are made with croissant dough. My husband tried the red velvet and I grabbed a piece which was super soft. All their donuts were really soft, they weren't oily. They were very friendly and have a great number of tables to sit outside and enjoy the donuts. They also make sandwiches but we only tried the donuts. They offer vegan cake options so I tried the coconut one and it had a lot of coconut which I loved and inside was soft. read more

This place not only has delicious donuts but also a deli that is exceptionally delicious! Came in here for a late breakfast one day and the glazed donuts were sold out, so I decided to opt for the samiches since I heard good things about them too. It did not disappoint! They were made fresh and because we were at the front of the line our wait was minimal. We were able to take some cute photos outside in the snow and were able to eat in the tables outside. Perhaps we went on an off day- we were there early. Donuts looked good- we were the only ones there- small space inside but seating outside, staff were friendly. We got our donuts home- most were tasty- but a couple tasted like they were baked yesterday. And not fresh at all- a bummer for sure. The donuts here are an easy win, but the real surprise for me was the roast beef sandwich. Honestly, it's the best one I've ever had--and that's coming from someone who loves the one at Philippe's in LA. The bread is light and flaky but still soaks up the au jus perfectly. I come here for the cronuts, but they've got a variety of pastries and it looked like deli items? The outside has a nice little seating area. The inside overall is very small and I can imagine it could get crowded really easily. Parking was easy enough to find on the day we were there. The place is nicely decorated with fun wood carvings. The guy at the counter was super friendly. We come here to get our sugar fix whenever we are at our cabin. Just a short drive from the boulevard, so come by and grab something sweet before you head back to your place. read more
