Hard to beat a fro yo on a warm summer day in Big Bear! Beary Bliss is a delightful spot that combines the Big Bear culture and frozen yogurt. We stopped in on a random weekend with our toddlers who absolutely LOVED their first frozen yogurt experience! Beary Bliss had about 10 flavors including no sugar and dairy free; all were delicious! We decided to go with cherry, vanilla, and a bunch of toppings including cherries, sprinkles, and chocolate chips. The inside has plenty of spots to sit and enjoy your fro yo, but the best spots are outside enjoying the Big Bear fresh air and their super cool giant bear outside (the kids loved it). The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the prices were pricey as expected. We quite enjoyed our frozen yogurt and will be back soon to indulge again! read more

First time coming to this place and it did not disappoint. The guy at the counter was unbelievably friendly and gave us little cups to try the different flavors so we could pick the right one. There's a flavor for everyone here. From pineapple dole to Reese's brownie. I chose the Reese's brownie soft serve with Reese's cups on top. My friend got the fudge brownie as is. Opened until 10pm on this cold Saturday evening, thankfully one of the few dessert places to try out after walking around this Shopping Village. Frozen yogurt - tried the Pineapple flavor, and it's like the ones you get at Disneyland Dole ice cream, but this is the yogurt version. It wasn't overly sweet, but my kid added the popping Pearl and that made it even more sweet. Staff was attentive, and place looked pretty clean. Outstanding things about this place was the outdoors firepit and huge screen showing an 80s movie. It was a nice open area, cozy and perfect setting to eat the yogurt. Grabbed a frozen yogurt on a warm early summer evening at Beary Bliss. They're open after a lot of the stores close which was convenient if you're staying there in The Village. It's the typical self serve format and they had more toppings than some other yogurt chains. Some reviews mention the pricing but we found it to be pretty close to other chains. There could be a little premium based on location as Big Bear is pretty isolated (for supplies) and this is right on the main tourist drag in BB so we expect that. The guy working in there was very polite/cool. It wasn't busy at the moment we were in there so I asked him if he's tried every combination in there. He told me about some of his favorites and what topping he uses on them. Then he mentioned a couple newer flavors that he's tried but hadn't gotten around to experimenting with yet as far as toppings went. read more

I tried their Dole whip pineapple ice cream and it is a tropical dream, with sweet and tangy flavors and juicy pineapple flavor. The Raspberry Ice Cream is a fruity and a little tart, with intense and authentic flavor. I also got their yummy organic soda drink and I am hooked on them now. One flavor was huckleberry and the other flavor was blackberry. I need to find a way where I can just order more or find them in a store closer to home. Living in Las Vegas, it's hard to pick frozen yogurt over the 215 different top notch ice cream places around, so when I saw this place in Big Bear I figured it would be a good time to load up a cup and indulge in some frozen yogurt finally. This place is located right downtown and thanks to the fact I ate lunch across the street at the Bone Yard, this place was super convenient. When I first walked into this place my jaw dropped a little thanks to the pop selection in the beverage machine. They had one of my favourite kinda of pop, Wild Bills and that's a huge thumbs up from me! Once I fixed my mouth, I grabbed a cup and filled it up with what I think was Oreo and chocolate brownie froyo, loaded it with some Oreo crumbs and cookie dough chunks, and made my way over to the register. I don't fully remember what I paid, but I think it was pretty standard for frozen yogurt pricing so who knows. The frozen yogurt itself tasted really good and each of the flavours really hit the spot, as did the toppings that topped the whole thing off. Overall, Beary Bliss is a wonderful place to get desert in the downtown area. The place was super clean, had multiple photo op areas, and offered a pretty good selection of frozen yogurt to choose from. Since ice cream isn't in abundance in this town, I can definitely see myself stopping here on a future Big Bear trip! read more

Honestly this place isn't the best. If you really want fro yo it's kinda your only option but I wouldn't recommend it. The yogurt is far too sweet, and I think the most disappointing thing about this place is their policies. We arrived at about 9:25pm which is 35 minutes before they close at 10pm. They told us that we were unable to get certain toppings like the fruit and popping boba because it was "closed". We saw all the toppings in front of us with lids on them but were unable to get them! I get closing up before actual closing time make it easier for later, but it was more than half an hour before closing! I worked in food service and we would do the same thing about 10 or even 15 minutes early but 35 minutes before is ridiculous. read more

We pointed to the sign that said they were open till 10 pm that day. She just laughed and walked away leaving us very frustrated and upset.
