We had an Americano and a Coke Zero to drink and my husband and I split an almond croissant and a lemon poppy seed muffin. The service was quick and we ate the snacks right there in front of the cart. There was a small wall on which to sit. There are no chairs and tables. I've been excited to try this place for their Mint Mocha since I love mint chocolate flavor. There was a bit of a line, but service was quick and flowed smoothly. I enjoyed my mint mocha, but it wasn't out of this world and I did get tired of it after a while. My guy got the Iced Biscoff Crumble, which was a little better in flavor than mine. I'm in the park again today and I needed some Java... stat! What to do? I ambled by the magnificent Morton Bay Fig tree and then I spotted the sign leading the way to Daniel's coffee! I was briefly tempted by such delights as smoothies, frappes, açaí bowls, honey cinnamon lattes, and Biscoff crumble cappuccinos, etc., but I stayed true to my main squeeze, my heart of hearts... the drink that never fails me... iced coffee! Daniel's iced coffee is smooth and drinkable, probably some sort of Columbian blend. I asked for almond milk and when I received the coffee and tasted it, I realized that they added sweetener to it. I like my coffee unsweetened, but today I just went with it, and it was pleasant enough. $5 for the 16 oz. Service was efficient and friendly. My fav coffee in Balboa Park! This little cart located in the spanish art village has coffee shop classics as well as teas, smoothies, matcha, and snacks. They have a good variety of alternative milks too. Today I tried the Iced Biscoff Latte and it was so good!! Can definitely see why it's a popular drink. They also have a little pastry case of which I indulged in a cheese danish I tend to like them cheesier than this but if you like a sweeeeet pastry, this one's for you! This cart tends to get busy but the wait is never too bad. At most you would probably spend 10 minutes here. Stopped by this little coffee stand on our way out of the San Diego Zoo today. One of the employees at the zoo recommended it to us. The coffee was very good. I got a lavender latte and my man got a cold brew with vanilla cold foam. We also got an almond croissant, which was kind of weak. It was very dry like it was a day or two old, but I ate it because I was super hungry. The coffee stand is really cute. It's in the Spanish village portion of Balboa Park. It's a cute coffee cart located in the colorful Spanish Village Art Center that offers a variety of creative drinks. I got the lavender chai, and it was soso good! There were so many other drinks I wanted to try, so looks like I'll have to go back for more. Even the worker at the botanical garden told us to try the drinks there, so that's how you know it's good. Try this place out! I heard their matcha was good so I dropped by while at Balboa Park! I got the strawberry matcha and added the cream top. Unfortunately I wasn't a fan, the matcha flavor was completely overpowered by the strawberry puree and it was a little sweet even for a sweet tooth like me. This has been and will always be my favorite place whenever I'm in San Diego. It's such a beautiful location with friendly people. We recently stopped by during our visit to SD and I wasn't sure if they still made Thai tea (it's been a few years since we moved to AZ) so when I asked the gentleman who help me said they didn't make it which is okay so I just ordered a regular chai. It's cute that there's a coffee stand inside the Hispanic Heritage Plaza, but I found it a bit overrated since there aren't many other coffee or tea options nearby. Amazing coffee spot in Spanish Village in Balboa park. It is close to the zoo. I have come here a couple of times and it never disappoints. My favorite drink has to be the iced Dirty chai latte. It is so good. The chai really balances out the expresso shot. I have also had the biscoff coffee and the gingerbread. Yes gingerbread and pumpkin are available all year long. Great spot for a caffeine boost. Love the colorful floor of the Spanish village. They have a few tables and lots of benches available in Spanish village. They are not open on Monday unfortunately and open until 8:30am. They do have mobile ordering online. read more

You will find lots of places to sit and many with umbrellas providing shade. It's the perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. Parking is free and the closest lot is on Village Place and Park Blvd. I ordered the Biscoff Crumble Latte for $7.50. It was served ice and was very delicious, almost like dessert in a cup.
