    You are lied to from the moment you walk into the door. While the branch manager sits in the glass…read morecubical next to us, surfing his Instagram and Tiktok, my son and I are opening a new account with Brendon, who has been lying to us the moment we walked in. I was simply wanting to deposit a check I received from a well-known institution into my sons account. Midfirst said the check would take 5-7 days to clear, however... if you open a new account with us, your check will clear in 24-48 hours... that was on Monday the 17th of June. Brendon even called the company to verify funds, which prompted Brendon to then say that funds were available and I would have access to MY funds in 24 hours, in-fact he said it would most likely process overnight and funds would show first thing in the morning! I waited the 24-hour period, then the 48 period, then 3 days, then 4 days. Its now Friday the 21st of June and I'm now being told that although Midfirst has MY money in their system, they are holding it until June 26th... 9 days later. I then called Midfirst corporate office who said that the branch manager and Brendon were completely, 100% aware of of a nine-day hold on new accounts. I called the branch on Tuesday - no answer. Wednesday was Flippin' Juneteenth so they were closed. I called Thursday and finally got Brendon after being screened by the branch minions for 15 minutes. Brendon said he would take care of my issue and call me right back... I have never heard back from him. The branch manager will not call me back, and while I'm writing this, I have now been on the phone with corporate for over 2 hours... ON HOLD. No one at Midfirst is interested in talking to a customer, let a lone a new customer. THIS BY FAR IS THE THE MOST PATHETIC BANK IN ARIZONA. Update: After kindly requesting a higher up at corporate, they transfer me to David, this is the genius branch manager who found it more important to check Tiktok than to help a customer. David hung up on me because he was not trained on how to handle a disgruntled CUSTOMER. No spine, no professionalism.
