Her workouts are thorough, comprehensive, and tailored absolutely to what your needs are. I am very discerning when it comes to trainers - having worked out with a number of them, and having been in the fitness industry myself for 10 years - and have a very, very high standard for whom I train with. And I appreciate having a trainer to motivate me and keep things challenging while understanding what's appropriate for me, where I am, and where I want to be. Christine is great at creating innovative, interesting, non-repetitive workouts. When we started working out, I brought in recommendations from my physical therapist and some of the rehab exercises I was doing, and she was able to incorporate them into the workout, but in new ways. She helped me build symmetry and strength - and now that joint that we spent a lot of time stabilizing is no longer an issue :-) She's been able to modify workouts on the fly if I wanted more challenge or needed less challenge. I really appreciate my workouts with Christine!

We've been training in different settings (Bootcamp/Inferno class, partner training, personal training for my mom who was recovering from hip surgery, small group training for me and my children), and I love the fun approach with the visible and noticable results. I have had classes with Alina, Lien and with Maggie, and was more than pleased with their teaching. I've been going to classes regularly for over 15 months and continuing to get more out of each class. My endurance, flexibility, strength and overall well-being is significantly better now. Recently some Pilates mat classes have been added to the schedule instead of the yoga classes and these are helping me to do the yoga poses better. The breathing and the core development in Pilates are different and complementary to yoga. My teacher Alina shared the purpose and meaning of Pilates method along with the practice of the unique Pilates poses. I appreciate the way she added something that is effective to advance my personal goals for my overall fitness. I love the way I feel after each class.

This is a very weird yoga studio. I had a class last week and it was canceled two hours beforehand…read more I tried to call and it was very hard to get in contact with someone. First off, the website is like a blog and mostly in Chinese and it was very hard to find the number and email. You cannot call as it is text only - and when you do you get an automated message that states that we need to download WeChat. Many people don't have that app. I scheduled the same class again this week and wanted to confirm that the class was still on. I texted the number instead of downloading WeChat and the owner responded back, which I appreciated. But she said they normally cancel the class if they don't have 3 or more people signed up. That is so bizarre I've never heard of that. I've taken many yoga classes and never had that experience- and sometimes I'm the only student in the class and the teacher still shows up. I didn't realize that you had to pay $5 to use their mat or to bring your own mat- however this was my fault - I should have read the email for that information. But again, I've taken many yoga classes throughout the years and never had to pay to use a mat. Another bizarre thing is you need to wait for the instructor in the lobby in order to enter the studio. If you click on the elevator button it will not go up to the "m level" as only the instructor has the key to go up the building. I got there earlier and was confused and kept pressing the elevator button and it was not going up. Luckily, I bumped into the instructor in the lobby. The yoga studio is dark and there are no windows or natural light. It also gets a bit stuffy in there The instructor was nice, but she is clearly new at teaching. There was no flow and the transitions were awkward. It felt like a Pilates class because she kept doing repetitions and would say "do this 10-20 times" and "hold it" On top of that she was doing adjustments on everyone. I am fine with adjustments but she should ask in the beginning of class if people are comfortable to being adjusted and touched. She adjusted one girl and I heard her say "ouch" and was in pain. This is a beginners yoga class and yet she was teaching headstands, one legged pigeon, and camel pose. All the students had difficulty with those poses and the instructor wasn't providing modified or alternative poses which is very dangerous. She didn't put music on until the end of the class- not sure if she had trouble with turning on the music. Lastly, she was looking at her watch/ phone every 10 minutes to see how much time was left and even ended 3 minutes earlier. She realized and decided to add a last minute exercise to fill the remaining time.

From day one, I was completely drawn in by the positive energy, welcoming community, and incredible variety of classes. Whether you're looking for a powerful Hot Yoga session, a gentle restorative class, or something in between, they truly offer something for everyone. The teachers are phenomenal--each brings their own unique style, passion, and heart to their teaching. I also love the workshops and special events they host. This past New Year's Eve, I had the amazing experience of welcoming 2026 with a midnight yoga and meditation class. It was the perfect way to set the tone for the year--centered, peaceful, and intentional. On January 1st, I took Merlin's class and was blown away. She greeted us with flowers, a note that read "I am love," and the most uplifting energy. Every class since has been a profound journey inward, helping me connect to myself in ways I can hardly put into words. I am so grateful to all the teachers at Living Yoga for sharing their gifts with such dedication. If you're looking for a studio that nourishes your body, mind, and spirit--this is it. My favorite class I have been going to recently has been a Flow & Restore class Wednesday mornings with Merlin. It's a perfect blend of breathwork, stretches along with spirituality and Yoga foundations. Merlin is amazing. Great energy and she has a very healing, relaxed vibe to her. HIGHLY recommend this class, as well as any other class this studio offers. The other instructors I have taken classes with are also amazing. Denise, Mi Han and Sabrina to name a few. Most people who workout here only do so because they have personal trainers that are affiliated with their gym. The personal trainers here are excellent but there is a price to pay for excellence. Their workout classes are awesome but super expensive to pay per class is $20.00 and to pay for unlimited classes a year it in the thousands. The only reason I was able to experience this gym is because I used to get reimbursed by my former employee. The clientele are mostly stay at home moms who can really afford to do what they please. I can only hope that one day I will be there working out again haha :)
