I was more than pleased with my ENTIRE experience with this clinic!…read more I made an appointment at Biermann Orthodontics for a consultation to get a second opinion as I am already an Invisalign patient elsewhere. I have had a few concerns with my treatment at my current office and wanted reassurance from an Orthodontist (my Invisalign case is being done through a general dentist currently). I left my appointment feeling extremely confident in how my current treatment is going and honestly, was a little bummed that I hadn't started my treatment there in the first place. Dr. Biermann was extremely kind and knowledgeable and was able to answer all questions I had with confidence. I would also like to mention that the treatment coordinator Rachelle was also just as helpful in answering questions I had! Every person I came in contact with at this office was so kind and welcoming! I would 100% recommend Biermann Orthodontics to any friend or family member of mine without hesitation!

I came to Pritchard orthodontics to go through Invisalign treatment because my front teeth were…read moretouching on my bite and I was grinding too much. I wanted to set my bite so that my top teeth were in front of my lower teeth allowing me to prep for veneers after treatment. Doctor Pritchard and his team have been fantastic to work with. They are friendly, caring, professional and more importantly, they achieved exactly what I was looking for in an end result. From start to finish it has been a pleasure and I would absolutely refer them to anyone looking for an orthodontist. I assure you, you're in great hands. I'm looking to continue this relationship for future years to come.

After my braces came off, I developed TMJ symptoms that I had never dealt with before treatment,…read moreincluding headaches, jaw clicking, muscle tension, and needing to stick to a soft food diet. My bite felt off, my teeth would squeak together, and eating became uncomfortable, especially on one side. When I brought these concerns up, I felt like they were minimized. I was told to take ibuprofen and that I was likely chewing too roughly or just adjusting to new contact points. Over time, I started to feel judged and frustrating to deal with whenever I brought up ongoing problems. I also had trouble with my teeth shifting. Even with consistent retainer use, I would develop gaps easily. After retreatment and about a year of TMJ problems, I tried again to discuss my ongoing pain and bite discomfort. The suggestion I received was Botox every few months, which would have cost thousands of dollars, along with working on clenching/grinding. The frustrating part is that I had none of these jaw issues before braces. My teeth were also polished in an attempt to adjust my bite, but I am still unsure whether that helped or made things worse. My bite is still uncomfortable, I developed gaps again after returning to nighttime retainer wear, and I still cannot eat comfortably on one side. It has been honestly depressing to spend over $5,000 on something I hoped would improve my life, only to feel like it made my quality of life worse. I expected some discomfort with orthodontic treatment, but I did not expect long-term jaw pain, bite discomfort, food limitations, and feeling uncomfortable advocating for myself afterward. I eventually went to a medical doctor and was prescribed muscle relaxers to reduce strain on my jaw, which helped with the clicking and headaches and cost me about $2. I still deal with muscle spasms and bite discomfort, but I no longer feel comfortable bringing these concerns up at this office. At this point, I'll be seeking help elsewhere. I wish my concerns had been taken more seriously, especially since these problems started after orthodontic treatment.

Excellent. Look no further for an Orthodontist. Dr Miller…read moreand his staff are top notch. They take the time to work with their clients to identify a treatment plan with a gentle and kind approach. Dr Miller is honest and genuine, and will provide you a program that works for you, because he does care. Some orthodontists make recommendations that may not be needed or perhaps fit a person's budget. Most importantly, everyone is very experienced, knowledgeable, and professional. The level of care and orthodontic expertise you receive will be superior. Let's be honest, having work done on your teeth could cause anxiety. Dr Miller's office environment is comfortable and welcoming. I can honestly say that I looked forward to visiting the office, and I miss it now that my teeth are straight and healthy!

Dr. Miller and his staff are STELLAR…read more I have researched by and far for the best orthodontist north of Arizona and he is by far, the best! I had a horrible trauma to my mouth several years ago and have had hours of research and numerous consultations that I'm familiar with not only what I want but what to expect. I recently moved and I failed to make my initial appointment (sorry Dr. M and Jan, my faux pas) and called back a few months later and I was able to get right in. Dr. Miller and I had a brutally honest chat and we were in total agreement about my treatment, plan and duration. I've been a patient of his Portland office for about three months now and my smile is looking more radiant than ever. Thank you, Dr. Miller for not only providing exceptional service but providing those minor details that make me delighted as a patient.

Dr. Ensley…read moreand Dr. Sara are both amazing - they really know their stuff and make you feel comfortable from the get-go. Dr. Ensley is very conservative with care, which I really appreciate. He only recommends braces or treatment when it's truly necessary for a patient's growth and development, especially for kids. You can tell he has patients' best interests at heart. The whole team is so friendly and welcoming! They go out of their way to make sure you never leave with any questions, which is super reassuring. They're fantastic with kids and adults with ADD, showing so much patience and understanding to make sure everyone feels relaxed and supported. You can tell they genuinely care about each person, not just as a patient but as a person. AND they will meet you in the clinic after hours if there is any discomfort or pokey wires. A special shoutout to Terrie, who's amazing at working with payment options and helping you find a plan that fits your budget. She makes it so much easier and stress-free! If you're looking for an orthodontist in the Beaverton area, I highly recommend this place! You'll feel like part of their family. Dr. Ensley, Dr. Sara, and the entire staff are awesome!

Never been on hold over the phone. You can tell it's great cash flow here. -First visit. Free consultation with lots of pictures and nice package. Treatment coordinator was super sweet however it will be changing hands (many hands) for the following visits. No personal touch so feel free not to remember names here. -Experienced orthodontist. He's not new to the industry. Many general dentist can do easy cases these day by using advanced technology and invisiline. But you will have confidence talking to him if you think you have a special case. His thoughts are valuable for your decision, but read on. -Free custom sport mouth guards! Don't get store bought and use microwave. Go here and they will make one for you. This was how we got hooked to begin with. -Video games. Of course kids will want to go to dental office even earlier. It does help with anxiety and to be on time for appointments. -Telephone booth. Well it looks very special these day. And it actually works! So kids can learn to dial the antique. -Parking. It's Beaverton no where is hard anyways. Cons -Their office hours. They close at 4:00 and do not open on Friday Saturday and Sunday. So hard to be able to get appointment after school. You would be lucky to get 3:45 appointment on the day you want. Sometimes every 3-4 weeks appointment becomes 5-6 weeks apart because there's no openings. Not to mention parents that have to work til 5pm, got to plan your excuses ahead people! -Adjustment nightmare. Since they open only 4 days if you need adjustment after visit you are pretty much screwed. So you know it's orthodontic it could be so painful just because teeth move but sometimes gum hurts, problem with wires, etc. that you often need help. Depends on how you expect it to happen and have faith in painkillers, but for young kids it's not that simple to manage, especially when wires poke soft tissue in the mouth and cause bleeding. It is critical. So let's say, had appointment on Wednesday after school, gone home, feel the pain at night, and called back first thing Thursday morning, and sure they don't have anything available after school. Only way to do is skip work skip school and take mid-day appointment again. Or you wait until Monday or sometimes Tuesday if Monday is full. This situation happened over and over. Joy. -Satisfaction isn't guaranteed. You can't really get want you want. It's more like what doctor wants for you. At the far end it's possible that you are not 100% satisfied. Just like other reviews. The outcome you see in the mirror and the ortho theory that doctor provides might not agreed. He's the solo orthodontist, owner of the business, and Charlie (angels)! Look at the team photo and those pretty ladies in his life. No one will against what he thinks and says. You can try to talk contract you have before you started but it will only upset him. He's very experienced ortho but just asked around you will find out he can't take complaints! -Expensively known. You know what you are getting into. Upgrade your dental insurance before you go will definitely help. Not sure how is it now but recently it's about 7K. *Make sure your insurance stay exact the same (company and plan) for at least 24 months period. Confirm with your HR (no way you know what would happen the next year tho), don't change job or get fired! Otherwise you will pay all the insurance portions out of your pocket. Understand that it is not about when you "start" it's when you end. Insurance will not pay their parts when you pay and no one will tell you there. They will chip in a tiny bit every few months. So it will be a lot left for you to cover if anything changes. Anyways! All the pain (and money) might payoff in a long run. My recommendation is to get a 2nd opinion to make sure you clinically needed it. Unless you have money and a lot of time left and beauty is on top priority in your life. America is so obsessed with aligned teeth. Another thing Europeans love to make joke about. Orthodontists make your beauty smile. Businesses will do well with or without reviews. Happy goes around.

Last year his office merged with Dr Sessions bc Sessions is retiring so Dischinger office is twice as busy accommodating all of Sessions patients too-- it is impossible to get appt times before or after school, he has a 3rd orthodontist who sees many of his patients instead of him for check ups (which wasn't approved or discussed with me before this started happening), and he only uses "Spark" aligners bc he is paid by that company to push that product. There are also like 10 patient chairs in the 1 treatment area they have, practically on top of each other with no division between the chairs...so you have no privacy when you are getting treatment, and you hear everyone else's personal health information and treatments, which made me very uncomfortable. The docs hop from chair to chair and spend as little time as possible with patients, it's run like an assembly line. It's a shame bc I like the support staff that work there, but the office has gone really down hill in the last year since the merger.
