Abe, helped us understand the dress making process; informing us about the different designs, handwork and fabrics. 3 weeks go by and I got the call that the dress has had arrived. I got an amazing tour by Curtis, who showed me each floor and all the procedure from cured hides, to tanning, to the final excellent product that has been so prestigious in the world since 1905! My first vest I bought from here was a great deal so, my new vest had to come from Victory Leathers. I had picked it out online. Called Eddie to make sure they had one. I drive over 70 miles one way is the reason for calling. The first one I wanted was a bit tight. No problem, Eddie had a size bigger. I bought the, "Leather Vest with Buffalo Nickle Snaps", and love it. Eddie sewed on 13 patches of various sizes. As someone who has literally zero experience in working with leather(me of course), this associate was a godsend. We just wanted to make some custom belts and the associate looked at the picture of the look we were going for and was like 'yep, this is what you need and how you can do it'. I know leather belts aren't super difficult, but I get anxiety being in a place with so many options. He assisted with picking out the right strap, buckles, rivots, and made sure we had the right tools to get the job done. On top of that, he took some scraps and showed us how to do the work on his table in the back. He could literally point to anything and I would have bought it as I was confident that he wasn't overselling me and wouldn't lead me in the wrong direction. It's an hour drive to the nearest Tandy's and I'd gladly make the trip if I knew this gentleman was there to help. I'm sure all the staff there are happy to help, but he really did make it worth it.
