I recently closed on my first commercial real estate deal. I worked with both Joel and Kelly and…read morehighly recommend both. I met Joel (the broker) when I was doing initial market research, and had no intentions of buying right then. Joel spent hours with me, showing me properties, giving me his opinions, and answering my questions. When I was ready to seriously look for a property to purchas months later, I worked directly with Kelly, the agent who handles deals in the Allentown area. She is very responsive, responsible, prompt and hard-working. This was actually her first commercial real estate deal also, but she was able to apply her expertise in the area, with some guidance from Joel, seamlessly. We had many unexpected bumps in the road (related to the property and to the seller), but she was able to guide me through them all and ultimately close the deal. This included working through the winter holiday period when she was otherwise on vacation! The only issue I had with her was a communication lapse regarding the timing of the home inspection, but she responded very well to feedback and was able to work with us to move forward. I therefore count that as something positive because you can't ever expect perfection from a person or situation, but it is very important to work with someone who can adjust to feedback, rectify the situation and move forward, and that's exactly who Kelly is. A couple other bonuses of this brokerage: - They use electronic signatures. In the 21st century, I don't believe you should work with anyone who can't work electronically. - The other professionals in their network with whom I have worked so far are also excellent. Aside from a realtor, you may also need other professional services, and it's always nice to have someone introduce you to people who are good at what they do.

Like many people I am an accidental land lord as I am renting out the property that was once my primary residence. I initially attempted to go at it alone, but ultimately connected with Rob and Liz at West End Associates to our mutual satisfaction. The home was put on the MLS system and they also advertise in other venues. They take care of the signage and the showings saving me multiple trips to the property. When a tenant shows interest, they provide the credit app, verifications, credit report, and collect the deposit and 1st month rent. This has definitely taken a lot of stress out of being a landlord.

We have used Valley Estate Services to sell various items and have also recommended them to friends…read morewho were very pleased with the results We realized that auction fees run high and that also doing a sale on our own takes alot of effort and time We found the owner Amanda to be very knowledgeable and helpful and honest about what we could expect as far as items being salable The unfortunate part of selling items is that they may hold more sentimental value or remembering the high cost when the item was purchased new ~ sadly the realization comes that the value is determined by the economy and the desire of someone to buy anything once it is used ~ no matter how an item is disposed of ~ auction ~ garage sale ~ estate sale ~ ads ~ there is no guarantee of getting what you may consider as value ~ you just hope for the best and leave it to a professional to handle it & although a few items may not have sold for as much as we had hoped ~ the professionalism and handling of everything by Amanda saved us more in the end and when we look back on it that has alot of value in itself

Don't bother going to Valley Estate Services sales, and PLEASE READ if you are even considering…read moreusing them for your estate. The owner, Amanda, is a crook who goes through and takes all the best items for herself and her employees before the sale. I recently went to one of their sales and arrived very early as there were some items in the photos online that I was very excited to purchase. I was one of the first people in and went straight to where I knew these items were, but mysteriously they were nowhere to be found. I searched the entire house, but they were not there. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. After this incident, I did some more digging into the company, and found that this is a common theme. Items mysteriously disappear, they are almost never honest with their clients, increasing commission should they decide to be present during the sale to deter them so that they can continue to take items. I have never felt the need to write a review before, but what Amanda's company does is outrageous. I am genuinely shocked that Valley Estate Services is still in business.

Ask for Fady Salloum-I can't rave enough how good this guy is…read more Background story: My family and I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a vacation home for the past year. We were travelling to different areas of PA to see which neighborhoods interested us. Getting no where: I had seen two listings online and contacted their agents explaining what I was looking for and that I was an all cash buyer-both agents were busy at the time but promised to call me back and show me other listings in their inventory that would be a fit for me. Anna Skale from Keller Williams and Peter Ryan from Remax lost out on a serious all cash buyer opportunity. Hesitant: I came across a listing online which Fady Salloum from Remax was the agent. Being discouraged from the two previous agents, I didn't bother to call, or e-mail (since I was starting to think all PA real estate agents were unreliable) So I decided to just shoot him a text on June 9th, 2016. Success: Today is July 15, 2016 and we had our closing this morning on a wonderful property in Slatington. 37 days! -within 37 days, I worked with Fady through text,& emails. He showed us a total of 5 homes. He asked all the right questions and helped us narrow down our search from priority items to wishlist in a home. He even helped get our offer through. Within a mere 37 days, the home was inspected and purchased. And it didn't stop there-Fady referred several reliable companies such as landscaper, HVAC tech, contractor, insurance agent etc.... I am very grateful to have had Fady as my agent. He took the time to listen to what we wanted and helped make it happen. If you are looking for someone that is dedicated, determined, and reliable for your home search, Fady Salloum is the man.
