Joel spent hours with me, showing me properties, giving me his opinions, and answering my questions. When I was ready to seriously look for a property to purchas months later, I worked directly with Kelly, the agent who handles deals in the Allentown area. She is very responsive, responsible, prompt and hard-working. This was actually her first commercial real estate deal also, but she was able to apply her expertise in the area, with some guidance from Joel, seamlessly. We had many unexpected bumps in the road (related to the property and to the seller), but she was able to guide me through them all and ultimately close the deal. This included working through the winter holiday period when she was otherwise on vacation! The only issue I had with her was a communication lapse regarding the timing of the home inspection, but she responded very well to feedback and was able to work with us to move forward. I therefore count that as something positive because you can't ever expect perfection from a person or situation, but it is very important to work with someone who can adjust to feedback, rectify the situation and move forward, and that's exactly who Kelly is. A couple other bonuses of this brokerage: - They use electronic signatures. In the 21st century, I don't believe you should work with anyone who can't work electronically. - The other professionals in their network with whom I have worked so far are also excellent. Aside from a realtor, you may also need other professional services, and it's always nice to have someone introduce you to people who are good at what they do.

The owner, Amanda, is a crook who goes through and takes all the best items for herself and her employees before the sale. I recently went to one of their sales and arrived very early as there were some items in the photos online that I was very excited to purchase. I was one of the first people in and went straight to where I knew these items were, but mysteriously they were nowhere to be found. I searched the entire house, but they were not there. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional. After this incident, I did some more digging into the company, and found that this is a common theme. Items mysteriously disappear, they are almost never honest with their clients, increasing commission should they decide to be present during the sale to deter them so that they can continue to take items. I have never felt the need to write a review before, but what Amanda's company does is outrageous. I am genuinely shocked that Valley Estate Services is still in business.

I had to pay to have their work re-done properly.( this is just an example of the quality work they do) -Tenants they rented to were horrible- had to file for eviction after a little more than a year with THOUSANDS of dollars required to rehab. -Many tenants claimed they rarely got a real person answering their phones when calling for repairs. -They WILL nickel & dime you for everything they possibly can. -Some tenants can prove they paid rent in full , yet partial rent payments were recorded and partial rents paid to me. -LV4R was rude and disrespectful to out tenants -I found the new owners to be rude and condescending. .. They are also sitting on thousands of dollars they kept due to erroneously accounting..Currently communication with a lawyer..
