Both of us were very excited, but nervous about the prospect of buying our own home. We realized that there would be a lot of admin and felt a little daunted by this. However, the process was SO much easier and smoother than either of us could have anticipated thanks to Steve and Jesse. Not only are the two of them extremely friendly, they both go the extra mile to make sure you get the service you need. They really are the perfect team. Steve begins by showing you around properties that meet your specifications. Unlike previous realtors we have known, he was not in the least bit pushy, listened to what WE wanted and also gave us some very useful tips. He untiringly showed us places until we found one that met our needs. Steve wasn't afraid to tell us when certain places were overpriced either and was intent on getting us a fair price for the property we purchased by his competent negotiations with the seller and their agent. In the run-up to closing, a home inspection was performed by Bradley Longosky of ValueGuard (also highly recommended). That is when Jesse, Steve's son and a former contractor, stepped in to help us negotiate remediation and closing terms with the seller. Not only was he invaluable with estimating certain repair jobs, but he also recommended some very competent contractors. Both Steve and Jesse made buying our home a very enjoyable and exciting experience. They responded promptly to any inquiries and their prime concern seemed to be to make us happy rather than line their own pockets (which has not been our experience with all realtors we've dealt with). We are still in touch with Steve and Jesse and since our move they've continued to give us some great tips and recommendations - from restaurants to service providers. In fact, everyone we met at the Prudential Fox and Roach office in New Hope seemed extremely nice, although Steve and Jesse were the only ones we worked with personally. I now see a 5 star review by a gentleman, who has bought/sold six properties over eight years. I'll say that if you are in the business of real estate and buy/sell so many properties, then Tom might be OK, as the experienced buyer/seller will not be intimidated by Tom, but if you buy/sell few times in a lifetime then stay away from Tom and his intimidation tactics... dealing with him reminded me of Sopranos language.

If I liked a house, she would line up a showing, if I texted her in the morning she texted back and if I emailed her in the evening, she wrote back. I had over 30 showings and our house got a bid for its asking price in 11 days. Mary Beth has her own photographer and the photos he took for the listing were amazing. I needed an estimate, she lined up two immediately and one of those was for the very next morning. I wanted a quote for work at a new house; she had someone on the phone. She scheduled every appointment, inspection, appraisal, follow up, etc. with ease. I had a million and one questions and she answered them all. She has an eye for things a nervous buyer such as myself may not be aware of. Mary Beth saw a house I was interested in was on a flood plain and got me flood insurance quotes. She saw trees too close to another house and had an arborist out to check. She noticed an old water heater, damaged siding, good construction and bad construction. She was my eyes. Mary Beth has a ton of connections with mortgage companies, electricians, contractors, movers, you name it. She is the person that that says "I got a guy for that".
