However, Dr Go, did my crown in May 2022 and she did it incorrectly. After about six months I noticed that every time I would floss around that one crown, the floss had a gross smell. I'm sure you can imagine. Which is a first for me because my teeth have always been pretty good. I floss regularly, brush regularly, all of the above. When I brought this to her attention, her response was well. "Maybe you should get an electric flosser?" And I thought about it for a second and then I was like "why? I never needed it before until you did this crown. So I would like you to replace it." She finally agreed and offered to replace it but I had to pay $250. I hesitated because I didn't want to necessarily go back to a doctor that didn't do it correctly in the first place, and instead of taking accountability for her mistake she then tried to blame my hygiene skills by telling me I needed to buy an electric flosser which I never needed my entire life. So I thought I could just wait this out because it takes five years for insurance to be able to pay for another crown. But to be honest, I just couldn't wait any longer. I was always self-conscious about my breath constantly using one of those floss pickers and jamming it into between the teeth until the smell was no longer there. I have avoided eating on my right side of my mouth for the last few years so is to not get food stuck in there. So I called the office back and I said I would like to take Dr. Go on her offer to replace my crown. The receptionist took my information and said the doctors was in a meeting and will call me back later. As you can imagine, I never received a callback. So I am taking this as if doctor refuses to replace my crown. I am leaving this yelp review which I should've left years ago. I DO NOT RECOMMEND doctor go unless you are just doing a basic cleaning. Another friend of mine went to this doctor in her office because I referred him (before I got my crown) and he had a crown that needed to be replaced and the temporary crown had fallen off about a week later. With his experience and my experience, I don't believe that the doctors are skilled enough to do any type of cosmetic dental work. I would highly recommend you find another doctor that has more experience. The basic cleaning is actually done by hygienist and not the doctor and her hygienist are great. I also had to pay for a new set of Invisalign trays obviously because the teeth were now different and that was $1000. So if I had to have this replaced again, I will need to spend another thousand dollars for my Invisalign. I am now going to another doctor that is more seasoned and more skilled and I'm paying out-of-pocket. Mistake of Dr Go is gonna cost me $4k when all is said and done. So I highly recommend that you do not see this doctor. If I could give zero stars, I would because one star is being generous, they may be the one star is for the hygienist.

I have been overdue for a cleaning because I haven't been impressed with my last couple dentists. So I found Vino Smiles through my insurance then decided to schedule after liking what I saw online. This was my first visit with Vino Smiles and wow, what a wonderful office. Dr. Chris is so nice, thorough, and transparent. Paulina did my cleaning and Sandra did my X-rays, both were lovely; and Paulina is a fantastic hygienist, who explained her findings as she was going. Paulina and I chatted about our love of hiking and skiing/snowboarding, and Dr. Chris and I found common ground with working out and our history in EMS -- it was refreshing to have dental providers who want to know about YOU and the staff here were people I'd actually want to hang out with more than once every 6 months for a dental cleaning! Additionally, the office is beautiful (makes a great first impression!) and the subtle attention to detail really goes a long way -- they have refreshments in the lobby and comfy sofas, they give a tour of the office to new patients, put your name on the screen in your patient room, and have TVs on the ceiling for during your cleaning. They even have a separate private pediatric cleaning room with super cute artwork for kiddos. I don't mind dental visits at all, but it's just one of those things to do every 6 months. But this office... I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning!

The office is really cute, modern but cozy. I love when offices decorate for the holidays and it was not limited to the front desk, it was al over. Everything was very clean and well kept. All the staff I've encountered have been very friendly and welcoming. I've never had a dental assistant give me a tour as a new patient and I found it refreshing. Dr. Rodriguez is very calm, professional, thorough and informative. I feel like he really walked us through everything and was patient with my son when he was nervous. Dr. Hoang's work is low quality: She didn't take the time to polish off of the silver marks my old filling left behind before putting on the new tooth-colored filling and her scan of my teeth resulted in a bite guard so poor fitting another dentist was afraid to adjust it because he thought it needed so much adjusting that it would break. Lastly, I had to see another dentist to adjust the filling because Dr. Hoang left the filling too high and without a proper bite adjustment. However, the most massive issue with Dr. Hoang is that I did not consent to any dental work without nitrous and she proceeded anyways including not one, not two but three numbing injections and the majority of the filling work without nitrous. The front desk staff, assistant and hygienists (sorry I don't know the difference) could not have been any kinder and more understanding of the situation. I am grateful for them.

Her focus on being gentle and as non-invasive as possible. A filling chipped off while getting a cleaning and Dr. Ho was able to re-fill it, very quickly, within a few days without anesthesia with basically no pain. 2. Her office staff is also excellent. Maria (may be remembering her name incorrectly) usually helps with insurance and billing, and she is always super on top of it and helps maximize/clarify benefits. Super easy to make an appointment. I called in and someone on the phone collected all the basic information. On the day of my appt I came in about 10 min before my appt and Maria at the front desk was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She answered the few Qs I had, I completed my paperwork, and then waited in the lobby for a few mins. I don't remember the girl's name who took my xray but she was super friendly and gentle. I know those little things they put in your mouth is not comfortable but she made it quick and easy with the xray. Then Dr. Karen Ho appeared and went over my xrays and yay no cavities. I was super surprised she sat down and asked me about my concerns etc. Dr. Ho was super friendly and patient. I did not feel rushed and did not feel like just another random patient. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. I never felt so heard in my life at the dentist and really appreciate this extra friendly gesture :) Next, Maggie was my hygienist and carefully cleaned my teeth. No pain what so ever. Although we didn't have much of a conversation, she was friendly and nice at informing me which areas I should focus on and directions on keeping up my oral care. This is the office located at 2505 S Bascom Ave, Campbell, CA 95008. I had a very good dentist but my dental plan changed and they no longer would take it. I was now with Delta Dental HMO- which many dentists were not in their HMO plan-which I understand. I had tried about 15 difference dentists, even referrals from Delta Dental, nobody took it. I called Signature Dental and was told YES, they were in network, they accepted it, so I set up a new patient appointment. The day of the appointment, the office manager (?) came over to me and told me they DON'T accept the HMO insurance. She then emphasized that a 2 hour block of time had been set up for my appointment. I should have just left, but I didn't. I listened how great the dentists were and how since I was there, I should use their dental office, but pay for it out of pocket. I was convinced my HMO insurance was a lost cause so I agreed. I had one request-limit the amount of dental X-rays, as I had severe skin cancer surgeries on my face/head/ears. I went into the X-ray room and the tech was going to do a full 3-D Radiation photo scan-I did not allow this to happen. I decided then that this dental office was not a good fit for me. I just wanted to leave-I was done-but was informed that I had to pay a $154.50 missed appointment fee. OK, I understand, I took up their time, I didn't leave, I deserve this penalty fee-so I payed it. That's the honest, true story from my perspective. In many respect I am glad this happened because I DID find an HMO dentist that actually accepted my insurance AND was very receptive to limiting my radiation exposure. Now the staff at Signature Dental was not rude. One of the office staff even talked to my insurance and helped me locate my current HMO dentist, which I thought was very nice. The office and dental area was very clean and high tech. IF you decide to use Signature Dental, VERIFY they do accept your insurance. If you arrive and they say they don't accept it, leave immediately and remember my review.
