I proactively sent an email to my doctor (Dr. Doscas) asking about some recent tests and prescriptions only to be notified that my doctor has left the practice. While Dr. Doscas was a great doctor, I'm puzzled by how this was all handled. I received no email or comms from my doctor, the management team nor was I given any guidance on next steps in switching doctors. This is unacceptable. I should have been proactively notified and should have been made aware of my options ASAP. I called and texted the office several times to speak to Dr. Gorman about my experience but did not receive a call back. Instead, I received an impersonal, cold and sterile letter a few days later notifying me that I needed to find another doctor. I would not recommend this practice to anyone given the sloppy nature of my situation was managed- it's completely unacceptable.

We go over my labs, meds, and any issues I might be having. There has never been a time when she hasn't been able to fit me in. The reason she has PA's, is so all patients can be seen if and when she can't. Even Having to flying in from the island 4 times a year to see her is more than worth my time. If you think getting in to see Dr. Gorman is tough, move to Hawaii, here you could die before seeing a doctor, that's why I pay to fly in to Cali to see Dr. Gorman.

I was told to make sure I had someone drive me home, which was accurate as I wasn't able to drive for at least 2 days after the treatment and was told to stay off my feet for at least 2 days after the treatment. There are plenty of clinics in the SF bay area that offer ozone, including ozone dialysis in San Mateo and Santa Rosa, there is no reason to go here and I would highly advise that you stay away from this clinic.

The doctors are Gonstead chiropractors who focus on total body, functional care, which includes nutrition suggestions. They start with an x-ray to understand the spine's health. Under the care of Dr. Morris, my neck pain improved tremendously. I was assigned daily homework and supplements to help with healing along with nutrition advice. He is personable and cares about his patients. He is also very attentive and listens to all my questions. He even teaches me about why something may be occurring and shows me skeletal models while doing so. Everyone in the office is nice, courteous and professional. I change into a hospital gown for each visit. There are pre and post scans of the spine to ensure all is well. The technique is very gentle, but very effective in relieving pain. I also had cold laser therapy to speed up the healing process. There is plenty of parking in the back and the office is clean. They also have a water dispenser in the waiting area.

After forking out a ton of money on physical therapy sessions from that other doctor, tons of acupuncturist appointments and not getting any better, I started looking on yelp and found Dino, and I'm thankful I did. Just shortly after a few sessions and applying the exercises that he recommended, I was back to running pain free.. He chose to be part of this clinic to have more time with his family. He is so personable and kind, he takes an interest in my adult children and now grandchildren. Once I came in because I had severe nerve pain in my elbows , like the pain of hitting your crazy bone , only it would not stop. I asked him if he ever witnessed someone trying to cut off their arm from this pain, he responded yes I have. He then gave me cortisone injections ( he is excellent) and that pain went away instantly. Don't get me wrong he follows the guidelines on prescriptions as far as the current situation with Vicodin. He may not agree to some of the aspects associated with the decree. I have the utmost respect and admiration for him and his staff. Do not be discouraged, if you do not get a quick call back. I have flown from Minnesota just to get on his schedule! Dr. Massih was dismissive, rude, and disrespectful towards my mother's request about disability and was insistent on my mother being employed and working through her major lumbar and cervical issues (diagnosed spinal stenosis, degenerative discs, nerve pain, & more) even though my mother hasn't been able to physically work for over a year. Does this doctor want people to purposefully worsen their physical conditions so she can repeatedly inject them and prescribe them with pain medication? Not only that, but Dr. Massih was impatient and rushed her appointment. How can you get to understand your patient's issues if you don't give them the time to explain their ailments? And even with the limited time she gave my mother, she would talk over her and ignore her concerns. She even angrily opened up the appointment by asking my mother "why [she] was even here." And when my mother asked Dr. Massih to explain the side effects of a certain procedure, Dr. Massih insisted that she would only tell her once they were cleared to do the procedure. So, basically, she wanted to pressure my mother into making an appointment for the procedure first before explaining anything. Is this a doctor who cares, or a doctor who simply wants money? I think it's clear what her aim is. Regardless of whether or not Dr. Massih is a good doctor, our first impressions of her are highly negative. Cohen has great bedside manner & it's just an overall nice person as is Dr. King. The office even has x-ray and MRI on site which is helpful. However, after a recent injury, I was referred to Dr. Kim. I don't know if this guy was having a bad day but he was rude, non responsive & left in the middle of my appointment, even though he was an hour late. He was so condescending during the appointment & off putting that his nurse had to apologize on his behalf. He just walked out of the room, as I was asking questions about the injury and never reappeared. My fiancé who attended even said there's no way that guy is operating you, if that's how he acts during an appointment. The challenge with the office staff is getting a response. There are a number of other reviews for the same location and majority are around gaps in response or complete lack of response. I ignored those comments and went back to what I trusted and now know they were justified. I don't know what happened to this practice, but do not go. There are other orthopedic surgeons in the Bay Area, who are great, care about follow up and the overall outcome for their patients. I wish Dr. Cohen and Dr. King would leave this office because there's no way it's getting any more of my business. Now, in the middle of an injury where I was getting treatment from this facility, I'm now having to go to a different orthopedic surgeon.
