There are so many days where I feel like my brain is holding onto a million tasks to be done and Nancy gave me peace and a safe space. I really appreciated her listening to what issues I wanted to resolve and liked hearing about her background with acupuncture! Even after my stress was better managed and my bloating was not as dramatic/sudden, I'd still pop in weekly, until it became biweekly, and now seven months later --just for maintenance. They say you need to give acupuncture time to work--and I'm sure a lot of people don't want to be that patient-- but it's worth the time. I can only imagine how useful this is if I had an actual injury! Would I come back here? Yes, 100% if Nancy is still working here :) !

Walking out after one session I felt incredibly better. I went back 2 times a week for a few weeks until I was 100 percent. Ever since then, I go at least monthly for general wellness. Particularly for my traps, neck, and jaw tension from stress. The service includes: Acupuncture with a heated lamp nearby, then cupping, then a type of icy hot and heating pad. Sometimes I opt out of cupping just because I don't want marks on me if I have an event coming up. Be sure to let them know ahead of time if you wanted to opt out, but I would do the cupping if you can! Price: $50. I believe there are some signs that say cash only, but they take credit card too. I fall asleep every time. They listen, care, and are very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

All of a sudden my insurance could not come to a agreement with the group so every dr I had was gone in 1 day. I continued to see Dr K paying cash for my visits until I could change my insurance to something the practice took. I seen him for a few months I had a small balance I called to refill medication and was told because I had a balance they could not refill my medication I went to the office because I had never heard of anything like that My son had a bad accident at work and was in Ice in another state I needed to go out of town immediately Dr k refilled my perscribed neuropathy medication and fibromyalga medication I said I would call in for them to process a payment 2 day's later my son passed away and I had to get him back to California and I forgot to call so when I got everything done I called in the mail was a bill for 3000.00 I asked what was this for I called the billing department and was told it was June and July 2025 for office visits my insurance didn't cover it and appeal was denied so I asked for a itemized statement for what was done the office manager said I just wanted free medical Care. NO I DON'T I Refuse to hand over 3000.00 not knowing what was done. Well my insurance told me it was a regular office visit 1.500.00 for a 15 minn visit I received a call asking me to come in to the office for a N/C visit now Dr K was not in the office but I went Someone I've never seen before did not know proceeded to let me know I was dismissed from the office. What I love most is how much he genuinely cares about his patients. He takes his time with you, listens, and doesn't make you feel rushed. I've been to chiropractors who see you for less than 10 minutes and then it's basically, "Okay, pay and bye." That is definitely NOT the experience here. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in what he does. I absolutely love the way he works and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a chiropractor who actually takes the time to care for you!

READ IF YOU ARE INSURED AND ARE TRYING TO GO ABOUT THIS VISIT THROUGH YOUR INSURANCE…read more I wish I can give the doctor 5 stars and my 2nd visit receptionist 0. First visit was spectacular, as dr Kian Javid relieved a lot of my on and off issues that I had going on with my back on and off. Due to day to day life and work. (I work for UPS) Due to reading his reviews prior it was mostly about him and his wonderful practice so I considered. unfortunately I had to terminate my business going into the 2nd visit.as of 4/14/2023 My main issue with this establishment is the lack of the "fine wording" that does not get communicated properly with the patients. I went to the website and looked and read everything. However it did not work out that way . I ended up having to pay 150.00 out of pocket FIRST VISIT just so my insurance can be legit and verified that I am not HMO well at least that's what the nice lady on my first visit told me. I didn't make a big deal due to thats probably how they do things there. however that was not communicated to me via phone when making my appointment as well as what is stated on their website. (Misguided and falsely advertised) 2nd visit came around same week and a different receptionist told me otherwise. She printed out some typed out guidelines stating "blue cross of California and not blue cross blue shield". Kept telling me to read it, but all I wanted was some clarity and understanding on how they are billing me. The guideline paper did NOT state or answer any of my questions I wanted to ask. Also, it's clear that they do not look over the patients chart because she asked me what my co pay was and she has a blown up photo copy of my insurance card sitting right in front of her. On top of it saying PPO and not HMO. Lol, I nicely told her what it was anyway, (10.00) and she rudely commented that NO, its more then that". Lady how are u going to tell ME what my amount is when clearly you can't even read the proof of insurance that's right in-front of you? This is not my first rodeo with the chiropractors and the doctors etc. I'm sure I know what my copay is. SECONDLY, I came in early to discuss how I will be billed meaning my (insurance) due to the 1st time charge of 150.00. (Which I would be reimbursed by them if my insurance covers them per conversation with the 1st receptionist/nurse of my visit) If I have insurance why would I want to pay for a service that is covered through my network? Common sense- I left and cancelled my business. she then told me she will contact me once she gets in contact with my insurance. I left and sat in their parking lot and pretty much just did her job for her. 10 minutes later with answers ...I called and verified the coverage "with Blue Shield of California" and sure enough I was 100% with-in network and covered. Sadly I was charged when I shouldn't have been, or at least help me understand vs sitting there trying to explain to me what their other blue cross blue shield patients dealt with and arguing with me what my copay is etc. I don't care how good the care and facility is, if I am treated otherwise by staff and I present my facts with proof and want some kind of valid understanding then I will NOT continue my business.

After two consultations, he gave me a painkiller injection in my lower back. Dr. Arita's diagnosis was accurate, and thanks to him, I have improved to an amazing extent. Also, when I had the injection in my lower back, the procedure was done in the doctor's office, so I didn't have to go to another hospital, which was very convenient. Also, two nurses were by my side all the time, holding my hand. The doctor also talked to me about various things, which helped me relax as I was scared of the injection, which was very reassuring. I live in OC, so it's a little far, but Dr. Arita carefully considers the treatment options, so I think he's a trustworthy doctor. He doesn't make me go back in for many times. First, he listens to me, identifies the area that hurts, prescribes the appropriate medicine, and if that doesn't work, he tells me the next treatment. Then, after I get better, he introduces me to physical therapy and releases me from my own consultation, so I don't have to go there unnecessarily. If I ever have any pain in the future I won't hesitate to go to him.
