Was referred here by VA Long Beach since was not able to see me timely. Had a few treatments here. They started me early. Finished up early booked my follow up appointment and hit the road back . Great job looking forward to coming back and working on my lower back and shoulder. Dr Kang and Ally both have worked hard on my back. Great place for therapy. read more

Finally writing a review for UNI Chiropractic Care after my 3rd visit today, as I wanted to wait and see if each visit was as satisfactory as my first. I had sprained my ankle twice in the past two months and was looking to get it treated. I found this place on Yelp and after seeing all the great reviews, I decided to make an appointment. Before my first visit, I called them to make sure they were in-network in my insurance plan. Sharon, who helped me verify my insurance through email, was extremely helpful and informative. I really appreciated the fact that their rates were transparent so I would know how much to pay when I got there. Some offices can be very vague when it comes to billing, which I hate. The treatment I am receiving now is a bit different from traditional physical therapy, which I originally had in mind, but I'm sure the doctors here know what they're doing! During my consultation with Dr. Sang Hyo Lee, I addressed all my issues with my ankle sprain. He also noticed that my hips weren't aligned and that I had a back neck/back. My subsequent visits were with Dr. Reuben Lee, who is also great and is really trying to help me with my bad posture. Dr. Lee has also been doing an amazing job taping my ankle, which helps my ankle feel more stabilized. The ladies at the front desk, Sharon and Maribel, are very friendly as well. The wait times are also reasonable and they having a free, but limited, parking lot available. Prior to UNI Chiropractic Care, I had never been to a chiropractor before and was a bit concerned about the risks. I've never received any type of physical therapy either so I really can't compare the two, but I am hoping my future visits here will help me with my ankle pain/bad posture. If you're looking for traditional physical therapy, which involves stretching exercises, this isn't really the place but if you actually want to get it treated with ultrasound, EMS, etc, then UNI Chiropractic Care is the place to check out!! TIPS: Make sure you check in on Yelp for their special deals :) read more

I met with all three doctors here and they are all friendly! My primary doctor is Dr. Kang. She is very caring and super sensitive to the needs of the patient. I had difficulty understanding my insurance policy and she helped me understand what was going on. I get compliments about my improved posture. My shoulders feel so much lighter and my lower back feels better. I work 50+ hours sitting down on a chair and it was painful when I sat longer than 20-30 minutes. I feel much better now and work 2-3 hours straight and don't feel bothered at all! I recommend this place to my friends and acquaintances in need. I am planning to bring my mom in for a check up soon! read more

UNI Chiropractic Acupuncture - Dr. Kang is caring and sensitive to the patient's needs!! I have been coming to this practice for about two months now after an incident. - Chiropractors Near Me - Gardena, California

I've been having back issues mainly due to prolonged sitting at my damn desk or driving. I finally decided to try out chiro. Found UNI on yelp and gave it a try. I've been 2 out of 12 times now but since the first visit, there has been much improvement. Dr. Lee also gave me some very helpful advice on proper bending techniques and discussed postural changes. He was also able to help pinpoint why I was having these problems. It's so hard to constantly remember these during the rush of everyday life but the chiro sessions itself are great and lending to improvement. Would highly recommend! read more

I recently got my car totaled and needed some major TLC on my creaky body. I was recommended by a friend to go to UNI, so I went to them to get crackin'. The initial consultation was good! It was a chiro-lady with very strong hands, and she explained thoroughly what each step was and we chatted it up like gal pals. During my second visit, it was a different person and this guy was even stronger and rougher which without seeming dirty, was exactly what my body needed. There were a few components to each visit, but it pretty much goes as follows: 1. Facedown on a bed while electric currents shoot through my hurting muscles, and I spazz out uncontrollably. Not the best feeling to twitch like a lunatic without consciously doing it, but I got used to it. They put a warm blanket over you, so it's kind of hard not to start falling asleep. 2. Facedown again on another bed where they use this scary white tool that beats rapidly against your muscles and it's LOUD. I am an extremely ticklish person, so I was crying from trying that hard not to thrash around. I was cracking up at some points too, but no one could even hear me above the noise. 3. THE KRAKEN. Homeboy/girl starts cracking away, twisting my neck and making the necessary adjustments. Heaven. 4. I was transferred to another room to lay on a bed that had that roller that went up and down through my whole body. Nice and relaxing finish. Why -1 star? 1. Parking SUCKS. Getting in and out of the parking lot requires daredevil maneuvers and it's just not intelligently constructed. It's free though, so no further complaints about that. 2. This is the first time I've ever visited a chiro, so I'm not sure if it's normal to have a room where every patient shares. The beds are laid out and I'm pretty much laying next to strangers which seems a little odd to me. A TIP: Wear comfortable clothes and don't wear any makeup. They don't have a bathroom/changing room, so avoiding the hospital gown and being in your favorite shorts and t-shirt is the best bet. read more

I've been getting neck spinal treatments at this clinic for about a month. I think I am ready to write a review about this place. They have a parking lot where you can park for free, but spaces in between cars are a bit tight so be aware. Clinic: Clean environment, lots of machines available for different types of chiro treatments. Good attentive staff and doctors. I've been getting treatments from Dr. Lee. He is very friendly, knowledgable and understands my needs. My condition has been getting better and i sleep much better now. Highly recommend! read more

I was experiencing constant lower back muscle after moving furniture so I visited UNI am pleased with my results. I have received three sessions of treatment and already feel much better. Not only is the treatment beneficial, but the doctors are very informative and detailed. The whole office is very kind and helpful. I didn't have any references to this chiro, just stumbled upon it so I want to share my 5 stars for others to know it's the right choice! Check them out! Even if you don't have an injury, it's important to be educated and act preventively. read more

No safety protocols against COVID19. Came here last week and the lady at the front desk had no mask on at all and her coworker had her mask pulled down under her nose. They were talking to each other and to me and never once put on proper protections. What sort of legit medical office is not enforcing the proper use of PPE, in Decemeber of 2020?? They also arent cleaning off machines once people use them. Instead of going to feel relief from chronic back pain I left feeling stressed I had just unwillingly exposed myself to a virus. Please be aware before you attempt to seek treatment from a place that clearly does not care about keeping their patients safe and healthy. read more

The need for me to seek a new chiropractor came about due to my old one not taking my PPO insurance and location. So for the first time I actually sought out an in network chiropractor. When I called to make my appointment I spoke to Anahi and was quite pushy about a same day appointment and I was accommodated. I walk in and was really pleased with Anahi and the front office staff. They were soft spoken yet welcoming. I had read reviews and saw Dr. Lee's name appear consistently and decided I wanted to see him. Over the phone I made this request and I was informed I would see the Dr. who best suited me. Dr. Kang did my consultation. She was very, very detailed with all the questions and reassured me I would get treatment the same day. What was so impressive, there is an x-ray machine right there in the office. Many chiro offices will send you out for an x-ray, so it's pretty cool they do it there. Once my consultation was complete I was able to get treatment and of course like magic I walked out feeling better than when I had walked in. The next visit I had was with Dr. Lee. A man of few words but has magic hands. Just as the reviews said he is really good at what he does. Since my treatment has started my posture has improved and other ailments in my body have been relieved. With each visit, all three of the doctors in the office have been on time and you don't have to worry about the overlapping of patients and having to be rushed through. I am so happy I found this place. It's a quick 12 minute drive from me, but even in high traffic time it's easy to zip to without a huge headache. There is plenty of parking, tight spaces to maneuver at times however, the space is there to use. It's truly amazing how chiropractic health can make you feel great from head to toe. Everyone should add chiropractic health into their normal lifestyle. You'd be amazed at how much better you will feel. read more

Dr. Lee and staff, my dad Jose has been visiting your practice for his chiropractic care for this past month , and he can't stop raving about your practice. He had knee surgery about 6 months ago and was receiving physical therapy and found the results to be underwhelming... but with your therapy, he finally feels more able bodied. He is very thankful for your chiropractic care and also very thankful for the way your staff treats him. Thank you Dr. Lee and staff! read more

Great staff, friendly environment, and a genuine service. I first came here when I first hurt my lower back back in college, and I have to say that coming here was one of the best decisions of my life. They're super professional in what they do and give great advice in helping you get a speedy recovery. And not only are they just professional in their line of work, but they also have a positive attitude towards their patients that make them feel welcomed. Most of my encounters and experiences with doctors and hospitals are negative, but UNI Chiropractic Care really changed my mind! read more

I'm sure many people nowadays have spinal issue since we use devices (whether it's phone, tablet, PC or smart watch). Whenever I have unbalanced stiff neck, I go here to get adjusted and feels much better right after. It takes about an hour for the massage machines and adjustment. Nice people there and parking is very easy most of time. read more

I've had such a great experience here! When I first came I was experiencing bad neck, shoulder and back pain and now I feel so much better. I hadn't been to a chiropractor before and the doctor did a great job explaining everything to me. In addition to the services the doctor provides while I'm there he also has given me exercises I can do at home to help improve my posture and has talked to me about other smaller things like my pillow choice. He's very diligent in checking in on my progress and makes adjustments accordingly. The facilities are very clean, there's free parking, and it is easy to get the appointment time you want. I've also been able to walk-in last minute with no problem. All of the staff here is great! The nurses are super helpful and friendly and like I said the doctors are diligent, they follow through on everything and genuinely seem to care. They really go above and beyond here to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable. I've worked with two doctors here but one more so than the other, both Dr. Lee. Dr. Reuben Lee is the doctor who initially assessed me that I've worked with the majority of the time. I would highly recommend both of them! read more

First, the doctors, nurses, and staff here are amazing. Starting from the consultation, I felt assurance that they will take good care of me as they listened carefully and explained carefully everything I needed. I love that they do not overbook their patients here resulting in wait time even with an appointment. I have gotten way better since I've started treatment here, and feel that it was even quicker recovery versus other chiropractors I've been to. I will definitely recommend to people, and come back for other treatments. read more

As a result of two accidents during childhood and teenage years, I spine was constant out-of-alignment and have chronic muscle spasm caused by bone spur in the cervical and thoracic spine. I have tried many different types of treatments, spent thousands and thousands on acupuncture, upper cervical, orthopedic, physical therapy, and even practicing hatha yoga regularly, only to find temporary relieve. At 52, I have never had a good night sleep for as long as I remember, always waking up tired. Early last year I learned about Uni Chiropractic Care clinic from a friend, I met Dr. Kang, specializes in Upper Cervical treatment there. Initially, after being treated by her for 2-3 months, I felt better, less spasm and less intense when I do have them, and my alignment would hold for a longer period of time. I started having more energy, and see improvement in my sleep. Subsequent to the upper cervical therapy, Dr. Kang recommended that I give Posture Care - Pettibon System a try with Dr. Sang Hyo Lee, her partner at the practice, she advised that Posture Care can correct the lack of curvature of my cervical spine which is the root cause of my bone spur that caused the headache and spasm. After about two months into the treatment, I did feel dramatically better, the headache and tension gradually went away, and the quality of my sleep has drastically improved. I am still going through the Pettibon treatment which will take a few more month to correct the curvature of my spine, to know that there are good doctors out that that specialize in this treatment and that it is not a quick fix or temporary relieve, give me great hope! Both Dr. Kang and Dr. Lee are excellent and caring Chiropractors, they pay attention to details and often consult with each other to figure out the best approach for my treatment that would yield the best outcome. The clinic is patient-centric, clean and organized, the assistance there are professional and I never had to wait for treatment when it is my turn. I have great respect for both Dr. Kang and Dr. Lee. Since then, I have referred all my family and friends to the clinic. read more

I love this place so much, prior to my auto accident I would come in for normal check ups and adjustments and I would leave with a smile on my face. I was involved in a severe car accident but Dr. Lee and his team have been taking care of me very well. Very down to earth doctors and Dr. Reuben even mentions to me when my posture is better. He also sees that I am trying to improve it. Dr. Reuben has helped me a lot from the simple strengthening exercises to even the way I stand up from sitting. I want to bring my mother to be examined and adjusted. After going to the chiropractor I have become aware of more things, I notice when average everyday people have forward head posture or if they are slouching with rounded shoulders even rounded on the thoracic spine. This place has only awakened my interest into chiropractic care. Who knows, I might become a chiropractor or even major in kinesiology all thanks to this place. Seeing all those certificates on the wall is very impressive. Such amazing work. read more
