Dr. Khoshsar is one of the best, 10 out of 10 recommend. He really cares and has an excellent bedside manner.

DR Koshar is a really good Dr I was With him for 10 years I was one of his First patients when he started this practice office staff is good. Office manager Not at all!!. All of a sudden my insurance could not come to a agreement with the group so every dr I had was gone in 1 day. I continued to see Dr K paying cash for my visits until I could change my insurance to something the practice took. I seen him for a few months I had a small balance I called to refill medication and was told because I had a balance they could not refill my medication I went to the office because I had never heard of anything like that My son had a bad accident at work and was in Ice in another state I needed to go out of town immediately Dr k refilled my perscribed neuropathy medication and fibromyalga medication I said I would call in for them to process a payment 2 day's later my son passed away and I had to get him back to California and I forgot to call so when I got everything done I called in the mail was a bill for 3000.00 I asked what was this for I called the billing department and was told it was June and July 2025 for office visits my insurance didn't cover it and appeal was denied so I asked for a itemized statement for what was done the office manager said I just wanted free medical Care. NO I DON'T I Refuse to hand over 3000.00 not knowing what was done. Well my insurance told me it was a regular office visit 1.500.00 for a 15 minn visit I received a call asking me to come in to the office for a N/C visit now Dr K was not in the office but I went Someone I've never seen before did not know proceeded to let me know I was dismissed from the office. I still have no clue who that DR WAS never seen them. I was handed a letter and told I would receive my medical records ( STILL HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THEM ) there were many State violations done that day things were not properly done before this happened I asked 4 time's over 2 Mos for Dr K to call me NEVER GOT A CALL I have never had a issue in 10 years in the office but when I questioned a 3.000.00 bill I was dismissed wich is my right as a patient I'm not blindly handing over 3.000.00 dollars since I was dismissed from the office I have NOT RECEIVED 1 BILL I'm not even sure if Dr Koshar Even knows about any of this I have waited 2 months for a bill and have yet to receive it read more

Pros- Dr. Khoshar is amazing. Very knowledgeable and genuinely interested in resolving the root cause(s) of the pain. Appointments are pretty easy to get. In network for most insurance companies. Cons- The biggest issue is billing. They have such an antiquated set up in which the only options for payment are to mail in your check or credit card number or to try calling to give them the cc number over the phone. They rarely answer on the first try. The whole system is beyond frustrating. You know how any time you go to any other doctor and have a procedure done, it's pretty standard for the doctor to call & check on you? Or let's say you had some labs done and the doc calls you back or emails you? You can't get that here without being charged for a full office visit. That's right - a 2 minute phone call in which the doctor says 'I looked at the test results and we need to send off to insurance for the next procedure', gets billed for $800 (full office visit). There is no such thing as a courtesy follow up phone call, even if it's 2 mins 16 seconds, yes I have the call log. Appointments are easy to get but NEVER be in a hurry here because they are consistently at least an hour behind. Overall, I do still recommend this clinic because they do listen and don't just tell you 'it's anxiety' or brush you off without trying to help. I just think it's helpful to know what to expect for billing and if I had known this is how they were, I would have chosen a different place. read more

I've came here 3 times and all 3 times I had to wait over an hour after the original appointment time to be seen. This is practice is very unorganized and there is a blatant disregard for the patients time. I won't be coming in to this location anymore and I'll be letting the attorney who recommended this clinic to stop scheduling their clients here as I've seen several patients cancel or reschedule their appointments multiple times for lack of timeliness. read more

This office is by far the worst experience I've had with a doctor. First of all, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They barely glance at you when you walk in and don't even acknowledge that you're there. Secondly, the doctor has the worst chair side manners! He was rude and downplayed my symptoms and made me feel like he didn't believe me. I wasn't even there for five minutes I told him my symptoms, and he didn't even do any sort of examination. He was argumentative and arrogant. He didn't even listen to any of my concerns, but instead argued with me about them as if he knows how my body is actually feeling this guy doesn't walk in my shoes and doesn't know, the pain that I'm having yet he had the nerve to brush it off like I was making it up. The doctors and the staff at BioHealth Pain Management are caring, professional, and attentive to all of my issues. Dr.Khosher is a awesome Doctor who cares and listens to his patients. His team goes above and beyond duty to help. The even called the Veterans Administration and Tri West which is my insurance as a US Marine Veteran to help expedite treatment and payment. I received 2 injections of PRP for knee pain and was supposed to get a 3rd but the Tri-West screwed up payment. The procedure was quick and almost painless. read more

First off let me tell you about the office staff. They are rude and extremely ugly to patients. No manners or professional attributes at all. Also they are constantly playing in the computer or just gossiping and they don't even acknowledge you . I had to wait for them to finish their gossiping. Unbelievable. They usually don't even return your call so patients have to go back to the office to figure what happened to the prescriptions and the office staff doesn't even care. They also just transfer you to another clueless individual every time you call. The girl in the front desk always has a dog face on her and is incredibly rude and lazy. Don't put up with her attitude and be firm. The doctor on the other hand is very polite and a very good doctor. It's just the front staff that ruins the whole experience. read more

Horrible service... Doctors words..."hurry let's get the next one in" This doctor does not care about his patients. He does not go over what procedure he's going to do, instead he gives you a paper to read up on it and sends you on your way. On the multiple occasions I've been here... they were running behind 1-2 hours. The office staff will lie to you about how long the wait time really is. They have no regard to other people's time. Referred by the VA Community Care Dept. for a procedure the VA doesn't perform. I filled out 90K forms, since it was my first visit. Patty, at the front desk, was very professional and courteous. Dr. Khoshsar and Sulindro lied to me about a spinal stimulator not interfering with my upcoming surgery and only helping me, which was a complete lie when my surgeon dropped me until I got it removed. Immediately after it was placed in me I was in twice as much pain and practically bedridden from pain when sitting up and walking especially for 2 years until I could find a trustworthy doctor to help me. Do not trust either of them, their only concern is how much money they can make off of people's suffering. read more

Called to schedule appt with dr Khoshar because he treats a family member and I'm impressed and familiar with him. Dr K is scaling down and not taking new pt's and was seen by his partner, Dr Sulindro. Was disappointed to not have been informed, but Dr Sulindro is great. He is always on time, asks if I have any questions and has been treating me with combination trigger point injections and SI joint injections and medication. He is fair and firm with medications and if you are nice to the staff, they are nice to you. The staff is very busy and any of the poor reviews of staff are a reflection of how they are treated by disgruntled patients. I have seen patients being extremely rude and entitled to staff members. Dr Sillandro is great, I have not been treated by Dr Khoshsar but feel it's necessary to post a review about their office management. Chaotic at best, disorganized, lack of team communication. Trying to reach their office can be more frustrating than the average person wants to deal with. The Doctors are excellent but just plan on a not so great office experience. read more

The most caring staff , and the doctor listens to you . He has ordered a MI unlike my current Pain Management Doctor who has ruined me by not giving any pain control , and I am now in a wheelchair grossly disabled . I was fully functional and walk unaided driving walking 2 blocks to his office . He never has touched me and refuses to do Trigger Point injections . He also reuses to put in a pain stimulator . I went here as a referral and the first thing I noticed was how rude the front office staff was to patients, I've never heard anything like this. One female would be on the phone calling co-workers "stupid" because of something to do with an email she sent. In front of patients. Then, when I had the audacity to show her the paperwork I ore filled out from their own website, she laughed and had me fill it out again, which was fine. But when I had questions about some of the things I was signing my name to, she just told me "fine, I guess you don't have to sign it then". Finally, about 20 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start, I asked for a time frame update just because I have to go back to work after the appointment. I was told I would be seen very shortly and then about 40 minutes after my appointment time, I was put into a room and told the doctor would be in soon. An hour after my appointment time, I heard the doctor go into yet another exam room next to mine and I just couldn't wait any longer. An hour after my appointment time and still wasn't seen, no one apologized, nobody said anything, nothing. I suggest if you're going to this location, reserve at least 2 hours just for the appointment because multiple people in the waiting room, including myself, were seeing well after their appointment time frame. We were never given any updates, everyone was told we would be seen 'shortly'. read more

This is just an update on this amazing doctor. They have moved there location to Lawndale-15901 Hawthorne Blvd #420. The office is absolutely beautiful and the staff is so nice. Being a RN, if the front desk employees are friendly then you already know how the doctor will be. He listens to you and doesn't make you feel rushed. The biggest thing I love about this doctor.. I suggested a medication and he shut me down quickly but nicely. He has a heart that really care about his patients. I trust him with any of my family members. read more

I have been a patient of Dr. Khoshar for well over 10 years now and couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dr. K continually shows that he cares about me as a person and a patient; on several occasions he made a point to visit me in the hospital to make sure I was being taken care of properly (he may have been in the area but a visit wasn't necessary...he cares) Once or twice he's gone to bat for me and I trust him wholeheartedly. Very horrible with getting back to Lawyers that are dealing with victims of car accidents. I went to this doctors months ago but because he and his staff are so "busy" they can't fax a piece of paper back and now I have to wait to get compensated...... Dr Rostam is been helping with my pain since 10 years ago for my neck pain which was my last hope after several different shots were tried on me and he took care of my neck pain and no more neck pain . About 4 months ago my back started with a chronic pain and again seeing different Doctors and ended up in his new office . All I can say I entered to his office limping and bending I got my 3rd epidural shot on last Thursday and im now almost pain free . First of all, this is the only doctor I see where the staff is always warm and kind on the phone when I make an appointment and when I come in to the office and it makes such a difference in the experience. Secondly, and more importantly, after struggling with pain and headaches for 15 years, this is the first doctor that has given me any relief. After many visit to multiple doctors, neurologists, chiropractors, etc., he has helped me discover that my misdiagnosed migraines are actually occipital neuralgia and has helped me develop a treatment plan. My daily life is a little more hopeful because of this doctor and I am hoping to gradually get better after years of thinking that I was probably going to be in severe pain for the rest of my life.
