She not only educated us on the market and the area, she literally represented us every step of the way. She visited several houses for us and provided us with detailed videos of her walk-through, plus her educated opinion, which made us feel confident enough to purchase a house without ever going to Eugene ourselves until after the deal was done! Kelly was always quick to respond, kind, professional, and willing to patiently answer every one of my questions. I also appreciated that her descriptions of the houses were always objective, unless we asked her for her opinion, in which case she'd always offer her smart and honest input. We are extremely happy with the house and how easy, smooth and enjoyable the whole process was. If you are looking for a realtor in Eugene, go with Kelly. You'll be in the best hands!

She was really prompt and forthright when i contacted via craigslist about the room and would check in every few days (in a sweet and not annoying manner mind you) about my interest, how my moving process was going etc. She was transparent and genuine and i never felt like i was being misled or asking too many questions. She very much focused on my feeling safe and a right fit for the place and current roommates than trying to hustle me into a contract. As i would be moving site unseen from out of state, i really appreciated this. I've never had such a caring and hands-on landlord-tenant experience before this let alone before signing a contract and moving in! Moving in: this was a breeze AND since i was coming from out of state, Jenny offered to pick me up from the airport, take me to run errands all before signing my contract! When signing paperwork, she pro-rated my rent as i moved mid-month though i had said i would pay for the full month as a guarantee for my spot. She even fixed and lent me her new bike without my asking as she knew i wouldnt have any transportation moving here. Also there was a delay in my stuff being shipped and they lent me a sleeping bag and offered an air mattress. Also her daughter was sweet enough to offer showing me around Eugene and going to the store if i needed anything. All of this really shows you how much they care about their tenants and treat us all like family. If you have a problem, the expectation is to go to them and collectively find a solution. I can't wait to develop this relationship further! The place: it's even better than the pictures! Everything is brand new and in mint condition, house is well-maintained and they are closeby and on hand to come fix or lend you anything as needed. All of their properties are in a GREAT neighbourhood - this location is hard to beat. I really feel like I've moved into a community and warm environment - not just a place to store my things. I am incredibly happy with my decision and would give more stars if possible!

After chatting with a few Oregon real estate agents, I stumbled upon Eugene's Alternative Realtors. What a name! It's as if the heavens opened up...and after a Zoom call with my clients we all agreed it was a MATCH. Not only that but within weeks, they found a house they loved. She helped us deal with our terrible mortgage broker and with the bank that owned the property (which is a job all in itself). After the sale, after she'd been paid and her job was done, she helped us get some remedy for the poor job done by the bank's contractor. And here we are three years in and John sent an updated appreciation report on our house so we could see where we sit. Most people buy more than one house in their life, don't you want a realty partner who's always going to be there not just someone who wants to get their commission and move on so they can get more commissions? You want someone who doesn't have to do radio ads to get clients, they get them because their clients tell their friends, "This is who you need"! Well, Heart & Home is who YOU need!

Well, I am not a real estate agent, I am a first time home buyer who was blitzed through the sales process by a below-average real estate agent and a fantastic mortgage lender. This tidal wave of a process washed my family and I onto the shores of Western Title & Escrow wide-eyed and weary. And who rescued us? Aimee Demuth. This woman was a blessing from heaven! We have four daughters age 6, 4, 2, and newborn. We were far from family and couldn't arrange for childcare as we headed to our closing appointment (which we had heard was going to be horrendously long and boring!). We prepared for the worst -- crying, fussy children and a stuffy Escrow Officer. Upon arrival, Aimee directed our clan to a corner of her office where she had a bin full of toys -- not just colored blocks like at the doctor's office -- dolls! We plopped her bin full of dolls in front of my three older girls and they played for an hour straight without a peep! Our youngest slept in the stroller. Aimee was thorough, well-prepared, and friendly. She moved us through the tedious process with ease, and it hardly felt like we had spent over an hour in her office by the time we were done. I know that most people don't "shop around" for an Escrow Officer -- but as homebuyers you CAN request a specific Escrow company, and if you choose to do that, I highly recommend you find Aimee Demuth, she's the best.

During the sale of her home, she was required to address a long list of issues that cost her thousands of dollars to fix. However, since moving in, she has had to spend thousands of dollars repairing numerous problems that should have been identified during the inspection. If the inspection had been thorough and accurate, many of these costly issues could have been discovered before closing, giving her the opportunity to negotiate repairs or reconsider the purchase.
