Moving in: this was a breeze AND since i was coming from out of state, Jenny offered to pick me up from the airport, take me to run errands all before signing my contract! When signing paperwork, she pro-rated my rent as i moved mid-month though i had said i would pay for the full month as a guarantee for my spot. She even fixed and lent me her new bike without my asking as she knew i wouldnt have any transportation moving here. Also there was a delay in my stuff being shipped and they lent me a sleeping bag and offered an air mattress. Also her daughter was sweet enough to offer showing me around Eugene and going to the store if i needed anything. All of this really shows you how much they care about their tenants and treat us all like family. If you have a problem, the expectation is to go to them and collectively find a solution. I can't wait to develop this relationship further! The place: it's even better than the pictures! Everything is brand new and in mint condition, house is well-maintained and they are closeby and on hand to come fix or lend you anything as needed. All of their properties are in a GREAT neighbourhood - this location is hard to beat. I really feel like I've moved into a community and warm environment - not just a place to store my things. They repeatedly gave us inaccurate information when I called them. At one point, they denied having receiving a wire transfer even though they had actually received it an hour earlier. On closing day, they demanded that we sign unnecessary documents that would have given up our legal right to a refund if the sale didn't go through. Most of the time that I called, I ended up leaving a voicemail message. Often, my calls were never returned and I had to call again. I would never recommend using them.

During the sale of her home, she was required to address a long list of issues that cost her thousands of dollars to fix. On the home she purchased, the inspector reported that everything was in excellent condition. However, since moving in, she has had to spend thousands of dollars repairing numerous problems that should have been identified during the inspection. If the inspection had been thorough and accurate, many of these costly issues could have been discovered before closing, giving her the opportunity to negotiate repairs or reconsider the purchase. Based on this experience, I would not recommend using this agent or inspector.
