The owner is a really nice guy very approachable and willing to do anything to make you happy my wife is not a barbecue fan and one day we went there and she stated to him she doesn't like anything on the menu he custom made her a meal to her liking whoever does that? I've had the pulled pork the spareribs the chili dog and the chicken wings all are very very good and the sauces at the table aso good and flavorful definitely worth the trip if you want real barbecue. read more

2 words: Food Poisoning The staff is very nice and the place seems cute but the food is way to saucy & unhealthy. My husband and I both were sick for 40 hrs. after eating dinner here. The thought of the food now turns my stomach. BEWARE. read more

Just stopped by for the first time after hearing some good things and I'll definitely be back! The menu had so many great choices that it took me awhile to decide. I had the chicken and ribs combo platter and it all just melted off the bones. Great choices of drinks/beer and plenty of shakes to try. Amazing service and kind staff. Will be back for sure. read more

Looking for someplace different to try, read reviews and decided to give it a try. 4 of ours dined - 3 had ribs - When I have ribs I expect them to fall off the bone. These did not and with the butter knife given it was hard to get them apart. One of us had the pulled pork which was good. The side of loaded mashed potatoes, the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries were good. The cole slaw not so good. Service was not really great. 3 of us received our meals and the other was waiting for a bit. Never refilled soda after being asked. We also so other people complaining about being seated and not being given menus. In this covid time this was not a place that I really felt that they were being cautious and taking the right precautions. 2 of the people behind the counter did not have their masks around the mouth and nose but were wearing them as chin covers. Servers all did have masks. Also, where we were seated we found a discarded face mask on the back of the booth and we had to ask them to remove it. read more

Solid bbq for NY. We'll never come close to the south but I definitely enjoy everything I've had here so far- burnt ends, pulled pork and chicken. read more

First time here and the food is wonderful! Started with a giant pretzel and they gave us a basket of their homemade chips. They were delicious. Their ribs are fall off the bone, brisket so tender and loved the seasonings and smoke rings. Many sauces to choose from. Our server was the best. You have to go! read more

I went to the seaford location last night for the first time and let me tell you everything i had was AMAZING, from the chips to the wings to the chicken and Mac&cheese /collard greens. The sauces were delicious as well and they have a great variety. The cornbread was moist and delicious . The service was even better our waitress was so sweet ! I would definitely recommend !!! Can't wait to go back read more

Phenomenal BBQ, great burritos, great ribs, amazing sides and apps. Top picks, Brisky Business, Jurassic Pork, Brisket Empanadas, beans, fried pickles, my list keeps going. Dine in, eat out and catering has all been great. read more

half the employees were behind the bar laughing and being obnoxious throughout my dinner. Ok so we ordered fried pickle chips for an appetizer and they were great. I ordered half rack of baby back ribs and a half lb of sliced brisket. my girlfriend ordered mac and cheese When the food came out i thought it looked great. after tasting it i was dissapointed.GF did not like her mac and cheese at all so i tried it and i understood why. it just had a weird taste to it. maybe some would enjoy it but we definitely did not. My ribs were pretty flavorless, just dry meat. The brisket was just okay. Felt like i just ate it because i was starving but didnt enjoy it at all. Definitely not food i would spend a good amount of money on ever again i can say that. Next time ill drive down the road to smokin al's. read more

Not the best 1st experience. We drove 40 mins based on a recommendation. Ordered 2 ribs plates, 1lb of brisket, CBR nachos. Made it all the way home to find out all of the sides and corn bread we're missing. No Mac&cheese, baked beans, greens. Come on the sides are the best part!!!! When we called they said the kitchen was closed and there's nothing they can do. They will leave my name at the register and I could ask for the manager next time. The brisket was over cooked. Very over cooked and dry even with the 5 cups of bbq sauce they put on it. Ribs were ok. Nachos were good. Even after all of that we would have tried this place again until everyone woke up with upset stomachs this morning. Never again!!!! read more

Had a few poor experiences here, but management actually came into our office, apologized personally, and explained to us the situation of growing larger very quickly. This is some Grade A customer service compared to the bad experiences weve had in the past. I appreciate the extra mile, have edited my review accordingly, and am excited to give Dang another shot in the future. Will update the review the next time we order. Thanks for caring about the local community and surrounding offices. read more

Food is delicious. I don't eat jalapeños but I LOVE their stuffed jalapeños. The menu is great and offers lots of selection. Mac and cheeses, ribs, pulled meats & sides (boyfriend loves the chili) are absolutely delicious! Also, the variety of dipping sauces is awesome! One thing though, last time, the char on the ribs was a bit much .. careful guys! But overall I would recommend and would love to eat here at least once a week. read more

What a cute BBQ location! Walking in to the restaurant is agreeably awkward, especially with a packed house. However, common sense says to wait a minute to be seated and that we were! Our server was very nice, a little new, but still attentive. The food itself was cooked deliciously fresh and came with 2 sides AND cornbread! Yum!! We got the pulled pork and pulled chicken, spicy and sweet respectively. The flavor is on point and smoked perfectly. We made sure to save room for a milkshake to go - a little milky but easy to enjoy! This place is fun and inexpensive. I definitely recommend it as a staple in your diet! read more

My husband and I loved coming to Dang pre pandemic and always enjoyed all of the food here - especially the brisket, wings and burgers. After taking a hiatus with all the craziness going on, we decided to get take out from there tonight. I was so disappointed when I opened my order and found it was not correct HOWEVER the business owner reached out and had a new, correct order made and delivered to my door super fast. That kind of courtesy and professionalism (along with the tasty food) will definitely keep us coming back and supporting Dang! Thanks again! read more

Highly recommended. I had the brisket tips & bbQ chicken and bacon mac. The brisket is a hard act to follow! With that being said I wish the chicken in my mac had more sauce to it. Nothing ordering a side of sauce can't fix. Great customer service, too. read more

We picked this place for my birthday dinner and unfortunately it was pretty awful. They forgot my husband's dinner, offered a credit which is fine he didnt need to eat, the fries ( sweet potato and regular) were cold and mushy, my dinner was I dont even know how to describe it, chunks of unidentifiable meat(suppose to be brisket) thrown all together with cheese, Cole slaw and mac and cheese that unfortunately went into the garbage, however the jalapeno stuffed with pork (suppose to have smoked gouda, it didnt) wrapped in bacon were pretty tasty but honestly I've never had a jalapeno that wasn't spicy‍ very big disappointment, I will never recommend this place, definitely not worth the $80 my husband paid read more

First time at Dang and everything was amazing!! Wings delicious, burgers cooked perfect and were juicy, bbq chicken platter was amazing with the dry rub, and the staff was even more amazing. Wish we were local so we could come here more often but definitely plan on returning!! read more

Incredible experience will definitely be back, great service, food was incredible and loved that the manager gave such personal interest in every order & every table, personally introduced himself, Tony, then asked about our order, our food, took the time to make us feel like family! Not many places have that personal touch anymore! This place definitely will become a regular place for myself & my family. Food was also incredible but service hands down was the best! Thanks Tony & Dang for a great experience! read more

Not that great of quality of food. This is like unhealthy, sloppy cheap bbq. Not quality bbq and don't expect anything fresh or homemade. It's a good place for extra grease, cheese and a milkshake but not for quality sides, good tasting smoked and grilled meat or anything. My bun was all wet and wrapped in foil to stay. A mess. Nothing stood out and I was very unimpressed with the slaw and the McDonald's pickle slice! It wasn't even a spear! Ehhh. It's ok if you want bbq but as soon as big daddy's opens, it's over. read more

First of all I want to say I really was hoping this place was going to be good but it just was not. There a bit pricey, but that is expected at a BBQ restaurant but the problem is they have a fast food vibe going with cheap tables and Chairs along with having to order your food at the register. From what I saw kids were running the fromt of the house. Like i said not to get to deep into any one food item there food as hole was not god at all. read more

Not a fan. Ribs were oven baked. Sauce was Delish. Brisket was like oven brisket. No smoke ring. No bark. The pulled pork was def left over from day before. It had that day old microwaved taste. I saw 2 smokers near kitchen but too small imo. The muffin was inedible. Beans were ok. Mac and cheese tastes like soap. Inedible. If you like oven baked saucy ribs then they are tasty here. But nothing had any smoky flavor. Seriously think the smokers are for show and not used much. Smoked turkey was tasty. Wish I ordered more of that. Def won't be back. read more

I'm happy that a bbq place opened up around the area but the only thing is there food doesn't have that wow factor . There menu takes a minute to figure out .I bought a sliced brisket on a hero but there was noting to it but thinly sliced meat and BBQ sauce but it just tasted like a cheap sandwich .i will give them a lot of credit for there great shakes . I do want this place to succeed but They need to work on there menu , seasoning and sauces . read more

As far as a bbq place the atmosphere was good but when it came to the actual food it was far from bbq. The brisket was dry and tasteless, the ribs were not fall off the bone and very under seasoned. I didn't even try the Mac and cheese but that also looked under par and had an unpleasant order. The drinks were underwhelming. Taking the trip all the way to Suffolk County was a waste but what else can you expect from a LI BBQ joint. read more

We didn't want to go to a long sit down dinner and decided to try Dang. We were pleasantly surprised at the open atmosphere, friendly staff and nice selection of food. Too many to choose from, we decided on the grilled chicken salad and a A pork alypse wrap. Both were fantastic! We Will definitely be back. The only minor issue we had was that the seats with the high top tables were a little uncomfortable for our "old" bodies and also the area didn't have anywhere for my wife to hang or store her pocketbook, so she had to keep it on her lap. Next time we'll just wait for a regular table :-) read more

I hate to say negative things, but maybe this will be used constructively. Had trouble calling in an order, Was busy for a long time and had to keep redialing. Get a second line or online ordering! This is the same reason many people stopped going to Bubbas... The pickup for taking out was confusing, Had to wait on a line with people placing orders and then go to a different counter to pick up. This took way too much time. If I ordered already I should not have to wait behind a bunch of people 1st placing orders. Fix the registers at the pickup counter to take credit cards and put a sign up so you know where to go for pickups. The first girl I talked to was all confused and could not answer questions about the menu. Maybe she was new, but she should be trained better or not e allowed to work directly with customers alone until she was more familiar with the menu. This is restaurant basics! The pickup counter had teenagers working it (2) that couldn't look more unhappy or bored to be there. It was busy dinner time, so not sure why. Maybe they need better music or louder music to keep them peppy. I actually asked my friend if they looked more sleepy or stoned! We asked for 3 extra BBQ sauces as we had 3 dinner orders. When I got home we only had 2 extra sauces. I ordered a plate which comes with 2 sides and a corn muffin. I was missing one side! For a 14.95 chicken plate, I should have both sides I ordered. My friend got her 2 sides!!! I may go back and ask for a free waffle fries to make up for it and see how they react! I had hoped that they would offer an alternative to white bread for hamburgers but they do not. That was disappointing so I opted for the plate. The Mac N Cheese was yummy but cold inside. I live a few blocks away and went right home and started eating, so it wasn't the drive, I will say the food is good. Yes, the BBQ sauce they put on things is a bit light, but they do offer the extra sauces if you like. The girl on the phone was really nice and fun t talk to. Wish the other employees had her spunk! I'll let you all know if I get my fries. I hope this place improves and listens to customers here. I miss Port Royal and was happy to see the owners set up DANG!. I will prob give it another chance, but next time I will double check the take out bags! read more

I ordered the brisket salad. With delivery, tax, and tip it was a little over 30 dollars. I consider this a lot for a salad. There was maybe half a cup of very dry brisket on it over a very large bowl of chopped up romaine. The brisket looked like the crumbs you have on a cutting board after slicing. Very little cheese and virtually nothing else. I almost wanted to drive there and ask for a refund. I was surprised because other items i have ordered have been good. I would not recommend. read more

Amazing milk shakes! Walking in is awkward. No one greets you or let's you know what to do or where to be seated. We kind of just walked to the end of the bar and got someone's attention. No one really knew where to stand. Food was average. I added a lot of salt to most of the meal haha. Our server was such a sweetie and very attentive but he doesn't know when to bring the check. Maybe he didn't want to make us feel rushed but I hate waiting for the check I'd have have it mid way through the meal or with the dessert. read more

Dang...... How do you run out of ribs? Or did you? I'll never know what they taste like because no shot I'll drive 30 minutes and be faced with the possibility of not getting them. I was really looking forward to my Fathers Day dinner here. Drove about 30 minutes to get there. Party of 7. Go there about 2pm. Waited about 25 minutes for a table. The woman in red kindly checked in with me a few times to let me know things were moving along etc. Unfortunately never said want a drink or anything. I finally asked for a beer. Table for 7 ready to go. The smell in the place is great. We've been looking at the menu so we were ready to go. Drinks first and while i did have a beer in front of me, it was close to empty and I had to call the young woman back over for a refill. Took a minute as "beer really isn't my thing" and took three requests to get something available. Already frustrating as one of them were a suggestion from the bartender who didn't realize they were out of a beer they were recommending. (Our waitress was nice enough but maybe new to being a server. We even said it was our first time their so if the order took a bit she'd understand why.) Time to order some food. My Father in Law is first up to order. A full rack of St Louis ribs. "I'm so sorry, we're out of ribs. Please don't shoot the messenger." I'm sorry what?!?! It's about 230 in the afternoon. How are you out of ribs already? And it's gonna to be a while before they are ready, a few hours. Totally get that as a quality product takes time. Regroup and get some burnt ends so i can at least get a taste of what I'm missing. Various orders around the table. Appetizers come out. Burnt ends. Pickle chips. Wings in two flavors. Wings were good enough, not the best, not the worst. Pickle chips got high reviews. Burnt ends. Just meh. Some big chunks of fat which i would've expected to render down in the cooking process. Pulled them apart. Good flavor. Again just the fat. Entrees come out. Well almost all. It took us asking for the missing salad my mother in law ordered for two servers to notice it was missing. When they finally brought it out, no dressing. "Oh you want dressing too, what kind?" Why didn't anyone ask this when taking an order. Again nice enough but not a lot of experience. Brisket is over cooked, bbq chicken is ok. My daughter got the pulled pork slider. Spits out the first bite. A chunk of fat. Fat...Again... at this point I'm over it. Want to finish up and leave. Been there for about 45 minutes. Table next to us orders ribs in the midst of this. Prob about 10 minutes before we get our food. Takes a bit but low and behold an order of ribs brought to the table. After they order and before they are served we ask about the ribs again. "Oh no that's gonna be a while." And yet the table next to us got ribs. They got ribs. RIBS WERE SERVED! Not a single comment to us. Not a sorry about that. Not a thing. The lack of ribs was clearly expressed as disappointing and visible on the look of my face and my father in law. Did a manager come over and say hey sorry about that. I don't want free stuff. I want courtesy. Oh wait and how is it that while we waited no one said hey by the way we are out of ribs. It was a 5 minute wait. 20+ minutes. Not a word. So in the end my two girls saw the Candy Shoppe shake come out. They wanted it no matter what. And while it may have been Father's Day and i was let down i wasn't going to let them down. Got them the shake. We tell them they are going to split it. One straw and one lollipop. So many failures it's incredible. read more

Great food and friendly staff! Their wings are always amazing and you can never pass up on one of their shakes.

I paid for and tipped for a delivery service and never got it. My order sat in the restaurant for over 2 hours and then I was told to come pick it up. Never received an apology or anything of the sort from the manager for the screw up. On top of that, the food was below par. This place doesn't hold a candle to Smokin' Al's. How do you serve Mac and cheese as a plain noodle with just cold shredded cheese on top of it, and call yourself a BBQ place? Their brisket was too thick and could be marinated more. This was a one and done experience for me, especially for their price and low quality food. read more

Waited for this BBQ joint to open all summer. I would recommend the sliders if you are trying to get a sample of what they offer. The slaw was great! The meat tender and flavorful.
