Chef Danelle is an absolute pro. From the menu planning to the execution and plating, we couldn't have asked for a better experience with a private event chef. Everything she cooked was delicious - we all went back for seconds, and she was able to navigate a foreign outdoor kitchen setup without a hitch. 10/10 would hire again and an easy recommendation for anyone needing a private chef for their event.

Chef Danelle is absolutely fantastic! She made it so easy to coordinate a 70th birthday dinner for my mom. We were a group of 8 adults and 7 kids and everyone walked away happy!!! The presentation was beautiful and food was delicious! Highly recommend!

Chef Danelle is amazing!! She was our private chef for a bachelorette party of 12 which had some dietary restrictions (gluten free, dairy free and a pescatarian). She blew us away!!!! Her food is not only delicious, but beautiful and thoughtful! You can tell she cares about what she does in the first bite. She's so nice and accommodating, understanding and just a wonderful chef. I hope I will get to have her food again one day! If you need a chef for an event you must get her! You will not regret it.

I was fortunate enough to experience the magic of Chef Danelle at my women's retreat. Her food had such a beautiful blend of color and flavor! She is so down to earth, made me giggle, and showed extreme dedication to the art of food. My body felt nourished. I will be seeking this wonderful chef out in the future for events. Thank you chef!!!!

We had the opportunity to do a tasting pre-contract, which I would highly recommend! Tasting the dishes we were thinking of having for our wedding was a leading factor to securing their services. The top 3 reasons why I would hire TVC for catering any event is: communication, flavor, and experience. Sara is a rockstar and we would not have had such a spectacular wedding if it wasn't for her. She goes out of her way to keep the couple informed, responds almost immediately to any and all questions/requests, and is just a wonderful person to be around! From quoting to executing the onsite catering, she is there every step of the way and knows all the important details. For our wedding we selected the below items: Passed apps: ahi poke tacos, mini arancini balls with tomato bisque, and pulled pork cornbread cakes. Given that we were having an outdoor wedding in November, we wanted to have something warm for our guests. Sara provided the creative idea to mix their fabulous arancini balls with a warm soup. It was a huge hit! Salad: Pear salad fit the fall theme perfectly! Mains: Syrah braised short rib and chicken piccata. Both were delicious (short rib was more popular) and we decided to serve family style instead of plated or buffet. This was a great option for us as our guests were able to converse and pass plates around. Food came out hot, which was a critical care about for us! Sides: Potato leek gratin and charred broccolini. The gratin is one of the best potato dishes I've ever tasted. I seriously wish I had this recipe! If I were to change one item, it would have been to sub in something more popular for the charred broccolini. In addition to the great food, TVC provided pie cutting, a water station, and tableside wine services. The package they offer is perfect for your wedding and they are able to take care of any and all needs! Thank you Sara, chef, and team!

I am so upset because I was extremely excited to book this company for my wedding I had been…read moretalking to the owner since January, came up with an entire menu that I am supposed to try next week (planned a whole trip around coming to try it) had a tasting date set, I wrote her now to confirm the tasting and she tells me they are actually booked for my wedding day and another staff member booked the other wedding and didn't tell her.... Mind you we've been talking for 5 months and you didn't realize this? If I didn't reach out I wouldn't have known. How do you have that bad of communication for something like this to happen?! Completely unprofessional. They totally set me back and wasted my time. Work on your organization and communication! Probably a blessing they aren't doing my wedding!!! PS- Even though there was no contract signed yet you guys should have reached out for me and asked for the deposit to hold the date before completely booking someone else especially with a tasting booked and a menu already written up with the proposal. No one asked for a deposit yet. If someone else was interested you should have let me know and then asked for deposit. it was wrong, regardless.

Well, let me start by saying that the experience with Jeanine was memorable but not in a good way…read more It isn't often that you run into a service provider with such an incredible lack of professionalism and tact but I believe she has set the standard for now not to treat customers or potential customers. I can't comment on her ability to cook because we never even got to that point. We, along with our close friends, decided to have a special evening to celebrate their 20th anniversary and selected An Affair to Remember to help. The process started out simple enough as we asked if she was available which she was. She then gave us a menu to select from which we did and that's when the fun started. We selected from her menu and the reply from her was, and I quote, " This is not real. 4 people can not possibly eat this much food. Why does this keep happening to me?" I'm thinking this was intended for someone else and not the actual customer. If it was intended for us I'm thinking a class in customer service or just basic courtesy is sorely needed. We then pared down the menu selections and she replied that she would send over a price for the evening. After removing several items from the menu this is her response: "I am really sorry but this is a menu that I can not pull off in 3 days. I wish you would have contacted me at least a month ago. Usually you pick one dish for everyone, one salad, one side, etc. One exception for the vegetarian is acceptable. I am not a restaurant. I wish you the best" Keep in mind that she cancelled 3 days before the scheduled day which makes a replacement impossible. In addition, if she couldn't perform the task (make multiple dishes) , why on earth didn't she just say that when we started the process? Also, if you can only make one thing, then say that...don't leave it up to the client to figure it out just to have you cancel at the last minute. This is a extraordinarily unprofessional person and saying things like "I'm not a restaurant" AFTER you give people a MENU is an insulting, rookie move. Bottom line, this is the value a service like Yelp provides. Letting others know that anyone who insults their potential customers while canceling at the last minute needs to not be in business. Use this as a warning and do not use Jeanine or her company.
