I never received that call, so I called the store myself and was told someone would get back to me. Instead, the next day I received a text saying my items were ready for pickup, even though I had never approved the pricing. When I called to ask about it, the employee apologized and admitted I had been charged for an item at a price I never agreed to. She assured me she would apply a discount to make up for the mistake, but when I picked up my order, there was no discount. It got even worse. One of my items wasn't fully cleaned and a piece of the flowers were removed/fell off but I was never told. I brought it back to have it redone. When I got it back the second time, it had been burned. The lack of communication, failure to honor what was promised, and damage to my item made this a terrible experience. We attempted to work with them, allowing Brite Touch to repress the draperies 3 times in an effort to improve the outcome. The result? - custom drapery panels ruined beyond repair! The pleats are permanently crumpled, the fabric and lining are fused/ stuck together, the lining now has a pink cast and the fabric integrity is so compromised that the panels no longer hang strait from the rod. It took 3 attempts to even press the ends of the draperies straight! See the attached (1) before and (4) after photos to further illustrate the issues. To date, they have not even reimbursed the $159 cleaning fee. It has been 3 months!! As for compensation for our loss? NADA! Brite Touch insisted they "...carefully followed the cleaning instructions on the care label..." despite the fact that there was no care label since these draperies were a custom fabrication. Communication with Brite Touch has been madding obtuse, inaccurate and inconsistent in what we assume are efforts to avoid financial responsibility to reimburse us for our loss. This has been an absolutely horrendous experience and it is ongoing.

When I went to pick it up, I noticed that one section of the pleats looked like it had been steamed or pressed completely flat. As in, my pleated dress came back to me with a section of pleats missing. When I pointed it out, they said they would send it back to get it fixed. I came back to pick it up and once again, they did not fix it. The fact that they were about to let me walk out of there without telling me that the dress was ruined tells me everything I need to know about this business. I had to request to speak to the owner to find out what happened. While he was apologetic and offered to compensate me for the dress, the entire experience ruined the business for me. Be warned - they will ruin your clothes, they won't be up front about whether or not they can clean something properly without ruining it, and then they will avoid the issue unless you bring it up. Run from this place.

I spent $189.42 to get my…read more7 pairs of shoes cleaned (4 leather sneakers and 3 suede oxfords) and they did a very poor job (see pics). When the shoes were ready for pick up I was lied to that they all look brand new with the exception of the brown suede shoes. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The white shoes are still dirty and look pretty much the same when dropped off. The navy suede shoes also still look the same when dropped off.

They acknowledged that and gave me a pick up date of two weeks out. When I came to pick it up they had not performed the agreed upon service. They told me to come back 3 days later which I did. It still was not ready they told me to pickup at a separate location if I didn't want to wait longer. I went to the second location and upon receiving the jacket was charged $70 and the issue I brought the jacket in for was not cleaned or addressed at all. The entire jacket doesn't even look like it's been cleaned at a cleaners. I will not ever be going back to an Avalon what poor service.
