Each time a service call was made (3 times), they said it was fine. And it wasn't until the 4th call that they experienced what we had and FINALLY ordered the part after much delay and replaced it. So much for believing your customer. Next up was the handle slipping off, the stove isn't that old so we called again and instead of making a call, they ordered a part. Another delay and multiple calls, no answer on when it might arrive. 2 MONTHS later we got lucky and someone actually answered the phone saying the order was lost in a move and it would be reordered. ANOTHER MONTH and we insisted on a call vs part in case it could be repaired. It took the tech 15 minutes to repair the handle with a Phillips screwdriver, the tech showed us the "hidden" access to repair it in case it happened again. After all the delays and unanswered calls, our handle was fixed to the tune of a $350 for a 15 min. service call! We paid the tech because he wasn't responsible for the invoice. We called to ask about the charge and but Saul Andrade didn't answer the phone as usual. He did call back a few days later left a curt message to say there was nothing he could so about it. What a waste of time and money working with this company. Also note that they've now moved to Santa Clara. So, watch out Bay Area.

And the rescheduled to the 3rd with out letting me know. Ok that's fine, couple days what ever. We'll irs the 3rd and the installer arrived, took one look and said he can't do the install due to the shape of the chimney. What's the point of doing a pre install inspection? I was told it would be no problem. What a waste of time

I should have read the reviews before calling this company. Unfortunately, our experience turned…read moreout to be just as disappointing. When we scheduled the appointment, we were quoted a $95 service fee for a technician to come out and diagnose the issue. The technician was at our home for less than 15 minutes, told us the control unit needed to be replaced (which was already diagnosed by our electrician), and then left. Shortly after, we received a bill for $295 along with a quote of approximately $2K to replace the unit. Since our fireplace is practically brand new, we contacted the manufacturer directly and learned that the control unit was actually still under warranty. The manufacturer immediately agreed to send us the replacement part free of charge. It is important to note that the technician never suggested checking the warranty status, even after we mentioned that the fireplace was new. Once we received the replacement unit from the manufacturer, we contacted the company again to ask if they could simply install the warranty-covered part (for a fee, of course). They refused to do the work. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience, and I would strongly recommend using another company.

(This was almost 800 sq ft). We talked to 4 different companies to get estimates and time lines. The price American Tile quoted was right in the middle of all the estimates we received. Tony at American Tile was by far the most knowledgeable about what we were asking to have done in our project. We had a dilemma about what to do with our very large staircase, which is a prominent feature in our home. We didn't want the stairs to be all tile, (for safety reasons), and we were bored with having them carpeted. Tony help us design something beautiful. We used decorative tile on the risers and carpeted the treads, creating a beautiful feature. Tony's team consists of true craftsmen. There were some tricky aspects of this project, but Tony's team did a stellar job. His guys did everything we needed from ripping out the carpet and hauling it away to touching up the paint on baseboards at the end of the project. He told us 3 weeks for completion and they were finished in 3 weeks time. I thought I was a perfectionist until I met Tony. He saw things I would have missed and our new floor is gorgeous. I can't recommend American Tile enough. In fact I have three smaller projects that I will be scheduling with them after the New Year. I should also mention that Tony is a really nice person! We couldn't be happier with the job he and his team did for us! I've include some photos of the beautiful work American Tile did for us.
