Dangerous driving. Driver of there company van refused to let me change lanes infront of them. Driving down hill in pacific grove for multiple blocks I had my signal on and he kept speeding up to prevent me from changing lanes. When I speed up significantly to try and get over head floored it to block. Me then I honked at him gave him them bird and he started arguing with me. 83663X3 even have a photo of the car. He said why didn't you slow down and go behind me. When a car is in front t of you gi es you plenty of time to slow down and you thi mt hey should have e to slow down enough to block traffic your the problem. City street moving between 30 and 20 mph and he wants me to slow down with traffic behind us..... bad driver would hate to see what his buisness practices are like. Mean while I have to tell him to pull up while he arguing with me because he currently has a full car length in front of him before a traffic light while he is busy claiming I tried to cut him off. Hope this guy isn't the head of the company. Cause his perspective is real off. If someone tries to cut you off and you charge at them its a vehicle accident if I slowly try to get in your lane with a signal and you speed up and I just stay in my lane, its you being a dangerous ass hole drive. Your luck the dot does not classify company vans as trucks moving passengers or cargo because then there is an official dot complaint line. When I first contacted him about an issue with the pilot on my gas insert fireplace, he told me it didn't seem like a serious problem and that he didn't want to come out and charge me for something minor. Instead, he kindly suggested that we do a FaceTime call so he could walk me through it. Meeting such a genuinely honest and kind business person is truly a blessing and a rare stroke of luck. During the call, I couldn't even find the knob to turn off the pilot, but Keenan patiently guided me step by step until I found it. Even after that, he carefully explained exactly what to do next--all without charging anything for his time. He could have easily scheduled an appointment, come out, and made quick money. We've had Four Seasons service our chimney twice since we moved in 3 years ago. On the first inspection and cleaning prior to our purchasing the home, he found a crack beginning on a brick in the back wall of the fireplace. He recommended we have him install a metal guard to keep it from cracking further. On the second visit after we moved in, he installed the metal guard and it has not only solved the problem but it helps throw extra heat into the living room when the fire is lit. He also gave us advice on the chimney construction and on not building huge roaring fires because of it having a metal liner instead of brick going up the chimney. I called four seasons and spoke with Todd the owner to get an estimate, he was very friendly and knowledgeable on the phone. We agreed on a time for him to come, and I gave him my address along with verbal directions to my house along with visual cues and what not. I have a long driveway so I waited by the gate for him, after about 25 minutes I saw a white van drive by and I waved but he kept driving. I got a phone call from Todd who seemed very upset and he said "I just wasted two hours driving out there and I couldn't find your house because you don't have a sign with your address number on your gate". I do in fact have an address sign on my gate. I said "are you in the white van? If so I waved at you", to which he responded "Yea I thought you were just being neighborly". He blamed me for his inability to follow directions then said he would call to reschedule. Here we are two months later and haven't heard anything, and my chimney is still leaking. Pay attention to the other bad reviews, this company does not want to work, only to collect a check! They did a terrible job "cleaning" the chimney and did not seal off the fireplace front, so I got soot all over my house and had a pile of it to clean up myself out of the fireplace. The quoted me $249 to clean and "inspect" the chimney.. told me the chimney did not need cleaning and needed repairs..inspection was minimal with a flashlight! Then then they wanted a check for $229 for not doing anything but looking at the chimney for about 10 minutes! They said they are not qualified to do repairs, so what did I pay for???? I knew it needed repairs... After a license search of the Contractors Board I was unable to find a Contractors License... no wonder they cannot do repairs! They then recommended a fireplace insert and told me the fireplace insert company will likely want them to come back to remove the spider webs...I requested a cleaning for the extra $20, since I wanted to at least get something for my money and did not want to have to pay AGAIN...they seemed VERY IRRITATED at having to actually work and just used a brush to "clean" for about 10 minutes...knocked two stones off of the chimney in the process... turned out that there actually there was soot in the chimney which needed cleaning, it is now in the fireplace box and all over my house. I wish I had avoided these guys and gone with a different company! read more

I didn't feel like just another quick service when they assisted me during a recent renovation of our home. They were fast and efficient in getting our fireplace insert removed and Todd was very patient in explaining the process and any considerations about fireplace safety. (I'm not a contractor so it's a learning process for me but that was NOT a problem). They were super easy to schedule, always on time, and very reliable. Todd is friendly but doesn't follow through. After paying him for an inspection and being told he would bid the work that needed to be done, he could not seem to deliver the bid after several weeks and telling us multiple times that he would. Since we were in the escrow process and needed it to negotiate, we had to pay someone else for another inspection to get the job done. Super frustrating experience! Do not hire him if a fireplace inspection is a contingency on a home you're buying. read more
