However, hula is so beautiful and relaxing that I got caught up in the entire dance and cultural experience. I now cannot imagine not dancing hula and have learned from the best. I had taken a Hawaiian dance class previous to moving to FL while living in Los Angeles and by far, Kumu Chrissy is the best; truly a gifted teacher. I doubt there are few of her skill level outside of Hawai'i. She truly enjoys what she does and it shows in her dedication to her students. And it's a lot of fun. The group of dancers (that has grown from a dozen to around 80) have become a second family as we perform at shows and competitions. From young children to retirees, we are truly blessed to have this wonderful opportunity experience in Brevard.

Bliss Fitness Studio in Melbourne, Florida exceeded my expectations from the very beginning. From…read moremy first phone call, Fanny was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and patient while answering my questions about classes and the two-week unlimited pass. She made the entire sign-up process easy and comfortable, especially since this was my first time trying pole fitness. My first class was with Cyn, and she was an amazing instructor. She created such a supportive and encouraging environment that made it easy to relax and actually enjoy learning something new. As a complete beginner, I appreciated how she broke down the movements step by step while making the class feel empowering and fun. If you're someone like me who has struggled to stay consistent at traditional gyms, Bliss Fitness Studio offers a refreshing approach to fitness. The energy, community, and unique classes like pole and aerial make working out feel exciting instead of intimidating. I highly recommend Bliss Fitness Studio to anyone in Melbourne or Brevard County looking for a fun and empowering way to get active.

I really wanted to love this studio, but unfortunately, my experience fell short in several key…read moreareas. Facility The location is very inconvenient. Parking is a nightmare, especially twice a week on a busy, narrow street. The studio does not adjust practices during major local events or festivals, forcing parents to park blocks away and walk. The interior feels outdated and poorly maintained. For a studio that's been operating for years, I expected to see investments in updates--such as additional seating or a viewing window for parents. The entire facility could benefit from a deep cleaning. It's not as polished as I hoped. A major concern is the placement of a "security camera" right above the changing cubicle. While I understand the intention, it raises privacy concerns about what is being captured. Instructors The instructors we encountered were kind and welcoming, but one seemed disengaged at times. This lack of engagement seemed to trickle down to the kids, resulting in frequent class disruptions and distractions. Business Practices Classes are overcrowded for the number of instructors available. One teacher per class is insufficient for the size of the groups. The performance fees feel excessive given that costumes are reused. There's little transparency about where these fees go. The studio gives the impression that their primary interest is in bringing in as much money as possible rather than focusing on being a truly well-established organization. They seem more interested in appearing polished and reputable rather than actually functioning as a well-organized and professional institution. Example; The studio closes for 1/2 of the month in Dec (Mon after the Nutcracker and again from Dec 23- Jan 3), however the monthly rate is not prorated, and in addition to that monthly rate, you have performance fees. We paid Double in that month, for reduced services. The admin staff is disorganized, forgetful, and often lacks the knowledge necessary to provide clear information, which adds unnecessary frustration. Performance Day Organization Performance days were chaotic and poorly managed. The coordinators were rude, dismissive, and lacked clear communication or direction. Parents trying to ensure their children were in the right place were met with unhelpful or outright nasty attitudes, which made an already stressful day worse. It also felt like the younger dancers were treated as "extras" rather than valued performers. They were often spoken to dismissively, which was disheartening to witness as a parent. It is unfortunate that this studio feels more focused on appearances and financial gain than on providing a quality experience for its students and their families. I hope they address these issues to better meet the needs of the community they serve.

Meanwhile, if you read the reviews for this place, the owners seem to like to charge people's card without consent. I refuse to give these crooks my CC to keep on file. There is simply no reason to. Beware giving these crooks your credit cards info. During this hour, I also noticed the premade meals were sitting on the counter. The girl mentioned that she had not had time to put them away.. yet they were all defrosted. I would never buy the meals from here. Bring back the old owners. New owners are crooks.

They have a great variety of equipment for both beginners and seasoned weight lifters. Recently I started talking several of their yoga classes. Both Brooke and Julie have awesome classes. There are plenty of options throughout the week, from dance, step, ballet, yoga and Pilates. The yoga classes are more than just a good stretch--they actually challenge you to build strength, flexibility, and endurance. No matter your skill level, the instructors do a great job of guiding you through each session. I also have to give a shoutout to my personal trainer, Jillian. She's incredibly knowledgeable, motivating, and always focused on helping me improve. She's taught me a ton about proper form, strength training, and staying consistent with my goals. Her energy and dedication make every session both productive and enjoyable. The only things I'd like to add are more glue machines and a sauna. The gym is already fantastic, but those additions would take it to the next level. Overall, I highly recommend Beach Bodies to anyone looking for a great all-around fitness experience. Whether you're into lifting, yoga, or personal training, this place has something for everyone.
