I enjoy the fact that I can go early to class and relax and warm up in the comfortable lounge or in the main dance room where the Adult classes are held. Ms. Elena teaches the traditional Russian Vaganova method, which I personally prefer. The classes are 1 1/2 hours in length, so you get a comprehensive class. The Barre is generally 45 minutes and whether you are young or more "seasoned" your body appreciates and benefits from the manner in which Ms. Elena conducts the Barre. The remaining 45 minutes of class is focused on Center/Across the floor combinations. No class is ever the same, which enables you to assimilate and learn new combinations or new ways to execute steps that you have previously learned. There is also the opportunity to take Adult Pointe Class from Ms. Elena, which I highly recommend. Ms. Elena approaches her Adult class with the same energy and passion as her Level 3 classes. She strives to always challenge you and help you realize your dance goals and dreams. I feel very privileged and fortunate to be one of her students.

Parking is a nightmare, especially twice a week on a busy, narrow street. The studio does not adjust practices during major local events or festivals, forcing parents to park blocks away and walk. The interior feels outdated and poorly maintained. For a studio that's been operating for years, I expected to see investments in updates--such as additional seating or a viewing window for parents. The entire facility could benefit from a deep cleaning. It's not as polished as I hoped. A major concern is the placement of a "security camera" right above the changing cubicle. While I understand the intention, it raises privacy concerns about what is being captured. Instructors The instructors we encountered were kind and welcoming, but one seemed disengaged at times. This lack of engagement seemed to trickle down to the kids, resulting in frequent class disruptions and distractions. Business Practices Classes are overcrowded for the number of instructors available. One teacher per class is insufficient for the size of the groups. The performance fees feel excessive given that costumes are reused. There's little transparency about where these fees go. The studio gives the impression that their primary interest is in bringing in as much money as possible rather than focusing on being a truly well-established organization. They seem more interested in appearing polished and reputable rather than actually functioning as a well-organized and professional institution. Example; The studio closes for 1/2 of the month in Dec (Mon after the Nutcracker and again from Dec 23- Jan 3), however the monthly rate is not prorated, and in addition to that monthly rate, you have performance fees. We paid Double in that month, for reduced services. The admin staff is disorganized, forgetful, and often lacks the knowledge necessary to provide clear information, which adds unnecessary frustration. Performance Day Organization Performance days were chaotic and poorly managed. The coordinators were rude, dismissive, and lacked clear communication or direction. Parents trying to ensure their children were in the right place were met with unhelpful or outright nasty attitudes, which made an already stressful day worse. It also felt like the younger dancers were treated as "extras" rather than valued performers. They were often spoken to dismissively, which was disheartening to witness as a parent. It is unfortunate that this studio feels more focused on appearances and financial gain than on providing a quality experience for its students and their families. I hope they address these issues to better meet the needs of the community they serve.

I have watched the evolution of her students from itty bitty tots in tutus to Juilliard attendees. Her choreography, recitals and the emotional impact she elicits from her dancers has brought me to actual tears as it is so beautiful that it hurts. She is so tactful and considerate of her dancers and tgeir families during recitals and performances- she does not simply feature the most gifted and flashiest dancers, but instead rotates the dancers throughout the choreography so that "Baby is never left in the corner." I have never seen this in any other dance studio, performance or recital. Brevard is SO BLESSED to have this studio in our neighborhood. Brevard is not known as a hotbed of artistic culture, so it is beyond fortunate to have an educator at this level in our backyard. I do not know how she stays in business; unlike other studios which grift the parents for the cost of lessons, costumes, dance shoes and gear, Holly's prices are unsustainably low. She has her dancers dance barefoot to avoid the cost of constantly buying pricey dance shoes for rapidly growing feet. She charges cost for costumes, which she affordably sources online or recycles from previous students. She has even resorted to dyeing recycled costumes and repurposes them. No other studio does this and she does it so that her studio is inclusive for every socioeconomic group. She turns no one away regardless of their ability to pay. I have often counseled her to become a non profit because of all the scholarships she underwrites. If there are angels on this Earth, then Miss Holly is most assuredly, one of the best of them. I Miss Holly to pieces and treasure every moment I was fortunate enough to watch her dancers. She was meant for greater things but chooses to nurture art here.

Their dance recitals bring me to tears because they are so lovely and artistic. Ms. Holly's prices are unbelievably fair- other dance studios nickel and dime the dance families for gear, lessons and over charging the families for competitions and recitals. Ms. Holly never does this. Ms. Holly was a professional dancer and choreographer for a luxury cruise line and her level of expertise is evident. My daughters are fortunate to have her as their teacher. Bring your kids or take an adult class you will love Ms. Holly and the vibe of her studio.

I had taken a Hawaiian dance class previous to moving to FL while living in Los Angeles and by far, Kumu Chrissy is the best; truly a gifted teacher. I doubt there are few of her skill level outside of Hawai'i. She truly enjoys what she does and it shows in her dedication to her students. And it's a lot of fun. The group of dancers (that has grown from a dozen to around 80) have become a second family as we perform at shows and competitions.
