Attended my 1st pole class at Dandelion & the instructor was not pleasant AT ALL!…read more She actually seemed a bit jealous of the little knowledge I did know for a beginner, idk why her energy was very snobby. The instructor was teaching spin tricks and told me my pole was able to spin when in fact I told her to please unlock my pole in order for it to spin. I told her I had never worked on a spinning pole and she insisted "I was ok to spin, the pole is unlocked and I just need to push harder." I didn't return due to the lack of education from the instructor being nasty to me and the sense she was literally trying to hurt me telling me push harder knowing my pole was LOCKED. yes it is typical to get bruises while polling but for someone to intentionally tell you to do something knowing it could hurt you. It's just simply nasty .I really wasted time & my money! I knew the pole was locked and should have reported the instructor. I would rate the place 0 stars if possible. The pole class consisted of more stretching than doing any of the pole work.... If you're a woman of color DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY PLEASE RUN!!!

Holly, from Firefly Yoga Co (in Ocoee /Winter Garden), was hosting a private yoga class for some friends and me prior to my wedding (I highly recommend organizing this, future brides!!). We had planned on a park, but the weather was not cooperating, so Holly was able to book a last minute room at Flo Space as they offer rentals (as well as private bachelorette-style parties that they plan for you featuring aerial, pole, and chair classes). Parking is simple- there are several spots out front as well as behind the studio space. Their lobby is very appealing and someone was at the counter to greet any guests or students arriving. As we walked down the corridor, I saw the aerial room set up with large hanging rings and then saw the pole class with enough poles for a large group! We set up in one of the small rooms. The decor was appropriate, it had great light from a window, and they provided mats and spray in case folks needed. I thought that was truly above and beyond! Overall, a wonderful yoga flow was had and this space made us forget all about the crummy weather! Will I be booking a party sometime for me and my girls to learn pole, aerial, or chair dancing? She was very attentive to all of my questions there was a lot! The instructor was Sarah and none of us ever took an aerial yoga but it was seamless. She had so much patience and it taught us so much.
