I was greeted warmly and although I didn't have an appointment I was shown in right away. Candy took her time with me using her expertise and enthusiasm to help me pick out just the right color and style for me. There was no up-sell me or hard sell and care was taken to keep within my budget. On a subsequent visit I met Stella who was wonderful to work with and a wealth of information on care and upkeep of my new wig. Their service goes beyond the initial sale too, making this 'bricks-and-mortar' store purchase far more preferable to purchasing online. Superb service and a real focus on the customer. I will absolutely be back! Elizabeth G.

Kandy listened to my story of my hair loss and what I was looking for. She came back with 4 options and the first one she tried on me was a perfect match. I was sick with worry about my hair, because my daughters wedding is in 30 days. I am now a happy abc confident Mother of the Bride.

Let me start off by saying that I was greatly surprised by this place & did NOT know what to…read moreexpect. I think I made the jobs of both Lauren & her sister (whom I fail to remember the name of, Taylor?) very easy. I know which line I need to look at & the (2) dresses I needed to try as a bridesmaid for a destination wedding. Regardless, the first thing I loved was that I was allowed to be accompanied by my boyfriend at my appointment. The second thing I loved was that these girls were built just like me, taller & curvy. It felt like they completely understood my frame & I didn't feel intimidated. Despite the pandemic, they had several appointments, but they were appropriate in keeping people distanced & making sure the dressing rooms were clean after each use. It was weird trying on gowns with a mask on, but what can ya do? When you first walk in, it seems like a very small place. But, to your surprise, it opens up out back to a large area with several racks of dresses (like a fancy warehouse) with a bunch of dressing rooms. During my appointment, I felt extremely important. Lauren & Taylor (?) were right outside my dressing room the entire time. Lauren was there to help zip the dresses I tried on & again, I felt so comfortable. They were both funny & vibrant which made the experience so pleasant. Lauren was also honest which was refreshing. She genuinely cared about me & my comfort & wanted to make certain that I felt confident in my choice. After only 20 minutes or so, I selected a gown & after they took measurements to make sure I ordered the correct size. I went a size bigger just to make sure when it came in I could have it adjusted to fit me better. The price (Bill Levkoff designer) was extremely reasonable for going through them. It can be ordered directly online for about the same price (before shipping) but the experience & making sure the dress works is far more valuable. I am more than impressed with Modern Bride & highly suggest them for brides & their bridal party. Actually, it might even be beneficial for Mothers of the Bride & groomsmen, as they do also offer these services.

I came in asking for very specific requirements and the staff were super accommodating and helpful. (Being a religious person in pursuit of a modest dress is no easy task!) My only regret was not being able to use them for my dress as I am a picky person. Otherwise, this is the go to shop for weddings especially if you're looking for a positive experience and a beautiful dress for your special day! They also do tuxedo fittings and rentals. I am happy to report that my fiancé, father and his groomsmen will be likely be using them for a tuxedo rental as they have a wonderful selection.
