She wanted it known she sized me correctly despite comfort. She finally agreed to bring in bras in a different size. She brought in a pile but nothing was remotely close to what I wanted and when I tried to explain what I was hoping for she kept talking over me and repeating that she sized me correctly and that I came in to be sized. I said I had actually hoped to buy a few bras! When I expressed concern about the situation she said to the other employee "her name is Karen, right?" I stopped into Zoe & Co while on a solo vacation. They fit me in for a walk in bra fitting appointment. All of the staff were incredibly nice, friendly, and professional. Mallory was so great to work with. I never knew I would have so many options for bras in my correct size. This was truly a life altering experience of buying bras. In the past, other places will give you like five options of styles, usually only in black and nude, and then a bunch of sister sizes that never quite fit. Their selection and size range in store was mind boggling in its inclusivity. Even though the sound bite that "70-82% of women are wearing the wrong bra size" has been used everywhere from Cosmo to Oprah to Chelsea Handler to Time Magazine, it still took some convincing to get me to go to Zoe & Co for a proper fitting. My friend, who finally convinced me, went from a DD to an F after being fitted and while she did not use the phrase "changed her life," she had enough positive things to say to get me in the door. First, the fitting itself is free and second, they carry a number of reasonably priced bras - I saw prices from $21 to $119 in my dressing room. I experienced no pressure to buy anything. I walked in mid-afternoon during the week, but you can also call ahead and make an appointment. To quote Time Magazine, "bra fitting is not sexy, it is scientific." A very nice and professional young lady took my measurement and had me try on their "standard" fitting bra to discover my basic size. You're never actually topless, you always have a bra on. Then she explained to me how to actually wear a bra, where the straps and the cups and the wires and things should go - how to put yourself into the bra and not just strap it on. Hanging in the dressing room were a couple certificates and continuing education credits for bra fitting training classes - these ladies are in it because they want to help you find the right bra. After determining my size, she brought me at least 30 different bras to try on. She left me to try them on, but was never far away. Whenever I found one that I liked, but couldn't seem to get the right fit with, I would just call her name and she would be right over to help me figure out if it was user error or to grab the same bra in a slightly different size. At the end, I probably had close to fifty bras in my dressing room. Bras are like any other piece of clothing - different brands run differently. I had worn a polo shirt, and she brought me a low cut v-neck so I could see what bras would look like in that style as well. While I picked out several bras that I liked, I only bought one. However, the others are filed away on my card so that I can go back and skip the trying on process - or I can suggest to someone that new bras from Zoe & Co would make a nice present... Of course, they carry more than bras - panties, bra discs, tights, etc - all the accessories you might think go with bras. A great place to go for a bridal shower gift! read more

I made an appointment and was completely taken care of and made to feel very comfortable as we tried a bunch of different options. My friend took me here today. I am so happy with the experience. My mother is not very feminine, and doesn't wear bras so I have just been going to big retail locations all my life. Unhelpful staff I walked into the store planning to purchase several bras. There was one other customer. I was told that customers can't self serve themselves and needed to be fitted before they could be helped. I explained that I had already had a professional fitting. I was told that if I did not know my size in European sizing they couldn't help me. There was no offer to look at a conversion chart, the clerk just didn't care to be helpful. This by far the best place to get a bra. I'm a big girl with a big chest and have never had a bra fit the way it did when I was thinner, until today. For years I shopped at Walmart for my bras and they all sucked, then I went to the Playtex store in Tilton NH to get so called fitted for a bra & those ones sucked too. (Not to mention they only had granny bras that went from your belly button to your neck in my size, which there is no way in hell you can try to look sexy for your husband in one of those.) For years the Playtex store made me believe I was a size 44 DDD and that big girls would never have a bra that would separate the twins (I always had that uniboob look) now with the proper fit I'm a size 42 GG. (Walmart or Playtex doesn't carry that size) Zoe & Co is the only place I will shop for bras from now on, they are the only place that has pretty bras for big girls. Yes the one draw back to the place is the price of the bras, but for me it's worth it. If you are a big chested girl and want pretty bras shop at Zoe's, if you just want a bra that fits right shop at Zoe's. And here is a little info for all you bra brakers out there (yes I was one of them) if you don't hand wash your bras or put them in a bra bag in the wash on delicate cycle, after a while the under wire will snap. Also one of the reviewers complained about having the first dressing room and that people can see in the room when checking out, well I had the same room today and there are these maroon curtains things that you can close on your own if you think people can see in the room. They also tell you when you buy the bras and its also on the sales slip that there are no cash refunds, there is a ten day return policy for in store credit and tags have to be on the bra and it was unworn. Also there are no warranty on the bras (I've never been to a place that does), if it brakes after a month of wearing it that's your fault (maybe you shouldn't let your husband use it as a double sling shot, it's made to hold boobies after all) read more

After dealing with Victoria's Secret BS bra's all my life, I was ready to get a reduction. I had such intense back pain, and I didn't know what to do anymore! My best friend works here, and she had been dying to get me in to Zoe & Co. for months, because she knew she could "change my life". And honestly she did just that! I went from a 36DD at VS to a 32HH at Zoe's. All the support is in your band! VS carries like 40 sizes, but this store carries over 200! Once I was fitted, she came back with like 30 bras, and I tried them all on. I ended up buying two, but I have more styled saved on my card in the store if I ever go back. I am in love with my bras! I finally broke down, after years of ill-fitting Victoria's Secret bras and rave reviews of Zoe's from my friends, and went for a professional bra fitting. Becca assisted me and she was absolutely wonderful! After finding my correct size, she brought in probably 15 or more bras for me to try and was so helpful adjusting the band and straps for the right fit. I finally chose 2 then we moved on to strapless where I finally chose one out of the 10 or so I tried. I recently outgrew my bras, and decided to go and get 'properly' fitted. I went to Zoe and Co hoping that they could help me out. Before I went, I had done some research on current trends, and how to fit yourself. When I walked in, I was greeted by a very friendly person. Great! They also had a large selection of bras...not available for customers to look through and view : (. Some issues I had with my fitting: ~The fitter told me they measure really tight and then add +4. Um, how about just measure regular?! +4 is an outdated way of measuring, because today's bras have a lot more stretch. ~She never asked what style cup I prefer, how I like to wear my bands or what my needs were (why was I getting bras, what kinds I like, etc. ) ~She fit me with a 'true' size bra (a Fantasie) - and we would work from there...however, I've found that Fantasie, Freya and their parent company run a little large-so how is that a 'true' size? ~After finding my 'true' size, she brought EVERYTHING in that size. Which I do appreciate variety, if I hadn't done some research and known what I was looking for (and the brands they claimed to have on their site were not available to try on in store...) I would have been overwhelmed. Heck, I WAS overwhelmed. ~After putting on a bra, she came in to double check (which I was pleased with), but she told me that it should fit properly on the middle hook (Nope, sorry-it needs to fit properly on the loosest hook, so you can tighten as the elastic stretches.) ~While she was checking the fit of the bra, she NEVER adjusted the straps. I've found that adjusting the straps can make a difference in the way a bra fits. ~She told me that UK sizes were the 'universal size' (It is much better to go with your UK size-it's a little less confusing!), but in my opinion, they are not a 'universal size', because each country has its own sizing system-it is not the same throughout all the bra manufacturers. Zoe and Co score: 2.5 (At least they got my size in my range-if I like my band super tight!) My advice? Make sure to do some research before getting fitted. There are a lot of good lingerie blogs, and online stores (Sophisticated Pair, Breakout Bras, Butterfly Collection-which offers FREE Skype fittings!). If you want an actual fitting in NH, I would recommend Top Drawer-I had a much better experience there! read more

These ladies truly know how to properly fit women with bras! I walked in off the street and they were able to help me right away. Emma asked many questions and the first one was if I was in a hurry. I wasn't and quickly discovered one cannot be in a hurry if you want to be properly fitted. Emma was professional, patient and gave me more choices than I knew what to do with. i was given many bras to try on and the girl decided I was the oddest size, which is not true. I put it on and it was painful, so she took off and was supposed to get someone else with more experience but they never came. Sorry but I'm not a 28 width, it was way too tight. After outgrowing all of the "normal" sizes at my local stores during my pregnancy, I heard about Zoe and Co. while I was attending grad school. I called and made a same-day appointment and was seen the moment I walked in through. My attendant was prompt, helpful and informative. She fitted my perfectly and discussed the various things I should be looking for in a well-fitting bra. I am a modest person and did not feel exposed or uncomfortable during the fitting. She was not pushy or insistent and gave me at least 40 bras to choose from. I told her that I was looking for something day to day and she eliminated many of the "special occasion" bras that she had brought in without a second consideration. I never felt rushed or uncomfortable and I was able to find three bras that met my needs and teacher's budget. I was given plenty of time to dress and explore the rest of the store while the salesgirl held my purchases at the store. Although they did not have a color I wanted, they gave me several options for getting it from another store and having it shipped directly to my home. Since I am from out of state, I was worried that I would not really benefit from the Zoe and Co. experience, but I was treated as if I lived next door. The salesgirl took down my information, wrote up a "favorites" list and my size. I decided on purchasing the bra i loved best and called in to order it in another color. When I arrived home I double checked the price online, and although it was about 15 dollars more (8 after shipping was added in), I felt that the most invaluable experience was receiving a great fit. I was nervous and not hopeful in finding what I needed, but I was very happily surprised and extremely satisfied with Casey, her help, the selection and her complete understanding of my frustration. I was so looking forward to have a "professional bra fitting" well did I learn a lesson, I told the fitter I wear a 38DD so she measured me and said I should be wearing a 34 I, wow was I surprised, now the Fitter brought about 30 Bras in to try on, none of the really fitted, so she brought some tee shirt bras, same size 34 I now the young lady helped me to place the bra correctly, it was a tight fit but I am thinking now perhaps I did wear my Bras to loose, long story short I bought 2 Bras for $ 140.00 and I was on my way home ( about 1 hour from Concord) the next day I wore the new Bra and in less then an hour I had to take it off, I could not breath, since I washed the both of them I cant return them, 2 weeks later I went to JC Penny they have a bra fitter too, she measured me and I was wearing the correct sized 38DD the only difference she explained to me was I was wearing the Wrong TYPE of Bra, she brought in 2 Bras and both fit like a glove, I was leaving wearing my new Bra and felt like a new woman, now that is what a real bra fitting should be and now that I am stuck with 2 bras it was an expensive lesson to learn, I would not recommend Zoe & company to anyone! read more

So, I found this place on google when I was trying to find a place to get my mom fitted. Went to check it out in person, ended up getting fitted myself, and I am sold! I had previously been "fitted" at a well-known major lingerie retailer, but had decided independently that the size they said I was, I wasn't quite. The folks here (I ended up going in twice, interacted with two or three different fitters/sales people) were all very friendly and helpful. They said on the phone to plan a minimum of 30 minutes and honestly, I would give it an hour if it's your first time. They might have asked what size I wore/thought I was, or maybe just what kind of bra I was wearing, then brought me a few bras of the same style in slightly different sizes that they thought were close, had me put one on, then came in and adjusted it, showed me where they were looking for fit and what that should look like. Like goldilocks, it took a couple/few tries till they found my perfect size, then the clerk brought in armloads of bras in that size - so many she pretty much ran out of hooks to hang them on. This was in part because I wasn't looking for any particular type or style of bra, but if you were looking only for molded cups/sports bras/non-stretchy material/etc., it would have been a more manageable collection with still a ton of variety. Anyway, I tried on lots of bras, each time with the opportunity to ask the fitter her opinion if I wasn't sure about one. It's hard to express the whole experience, it was definitely different for me to have someone see me shirtless, repeatedly, in a store. But I came out with a bra that fits amazing, and they kept a list of other bras I liked for me to get in the future (my budget only allows for one bra purchase at a time). I can't emphasize enough how friendly and helpful the staff was, seriously. (I have since gone to a different "bra fitting specialty store" in Oregon where I actually live; the staff person there was really short and not very friendly, which made that experience much less enjoyable! That's actually what inspired me to log on and review Zoe & Co.). Can I just add, I was surprised to find some shirts & dresses I thought didn't fit me well actually fit me great with the proper size bra on? Sleeveless shirts that used to gap at the armhole so you could see in my shirt, button-up shirts that used to gap between the bust buttons...now no gapping. Pretty freaking awesome. My one caveat is, I didn't end up thinking it was probably a place I would take my mom, since along with all the bras they also have...sex stuff - crotchless panties, vibrators, etc. I may be a little quaint/conservative relative to today's society, but I'm not super comfortable around that stuff, and I didn't think my 60-something mom would be super comfortable with it either, though it might be worth the trip anyway since she'd spend 90% of her time in the fitting room out of view of that stuff. Maybe it could get segregated to one corner of the shop or something? Anyway, for that purpose I'd give them 4 stars. But for me, definitely 5 stars. read more

I went to Zoe and Co. looking for 28E bras, and I can say they definitely had a decent selection for my size. I was pleased to see that they carried brands like Freya, Panache, and Curvy Kate, which I can't usually find in stores in the US. I wasn't fitted by an employee but my sister was. The ladies working there were definitely proper fitters, and even taught her to swoop and scoop. Unfortunately that's where the good ends. As soon as I got into my dressing room I noticed how jacked up all the prices were. I do a lot of looking around online for bras in places like figleaves, herroom, barenecessities, etc., so I have a pretty good idea of what certain bras usually cost. For example, Zoe and Co. was selling the Curvy Kate smoothie bra for $90. This bra usually costs $65 to $70 everywhere I've seen it. Zoe and Co. does not have a sale rack either, and they do not typically run sales, so if you go there be prepared to spend a lot. And now for the horrible customer service. While the girl helping out my sister seemed nice enough, the woman helping me was extremely rude. First she barged into my dressing room without asking if I was dressed and got an eyefull of me completely topless. No bra, nothing at all. And she totally swung the curtains open enough for anyone else standing there to see the goods too. That by itself wouldn't have been a big deal for me, but it gets worse. She asked me where I usually buy my bras, and I told her that I've only bought them online which was hit or miss for me, and then I explained that I drove an hour and a half to get to Zoe and Co. so I could try on bras in person. She immediately accused me of coming into the store with no intention to actually buy bras, just to try them on. She then proceeded to lecture me about how their fitting room was for paying customers only, not for people just wanted to try bras and then buy them online. At this point I was very angry because I came into that store with every intention to buy a bra or two, and here is an employee berating me in a dressing room while I helplessly stand there in just a bra. At that point I didn't even want to buy a bra there because she was so rude to me, but of course I felt obligated at that point because if I walked out without a bra I would be proving her right. I explained to her that she had misunderstood me, I did not intend to just use their fitting room and then buy all the bras online, etc. She didn't apologize, only said "I didn't mean to call you out." Call me out on what, something that I'm not even planning to do? So rude. She continued to be rude all the way through checkout, told me I couldn't possibly know anything about bra fitting from the internet because I'm not a "trained professional" like her. Belittling a customer as she forks over money for your overpriced bra that you guilted her into buying? Not cool. I don't ever plan to return to this store and I don't recommend it to anyone else either. Unless you're loaded and want to pay $80 for $60 Freya bras. They do have a good selection and proper fitting techniques, but I walked out of there feeling angry and frustrated about how I was treated. read more

Good as it gets for sure!! I've been shopping at Zoe & Co. for over a year now and I can't see myself buying bras anywhere else! The first time you go in, it's difficult to not be nervous....LUCKILY, my fitter was very friendly and made me feel completely comfortable right away! The fitting itself is informative, there is sooo much I never knew about bras.. once she figured out what size I am, my fitter brought lots of options right into the fitting room for me, it was perfect! From there, she said I could look through them to decide what I'd like to try on, but she did listen to what I was looking for and gave me a few good choices to start with. Once I had fallen in love with a few different styles, I was informed that they also have sports bras!! What a difference! They do have strapless options, bathing suits, post-surgery, AND nursing bras too! (You'll see what I mean when you go in yourself) This store is definitely a gem! Pros: -Somewhat extensive size range. -They bring tons of bras to try on in whatever size you need. Cons: -They add 4" to your ribcage, and even though they say they measure tightly it's a lie, they pull the tape around loosely and don't even check if it's uneven. (If I measure myself tightly I get 24". What you measure IS what you should be wearing give or take 1 size, technically I should be in a 26). -WAY overpriced!! Most of their bras are about $20 more than what you would pay everywhere else, even more than the SRP! -Unmodest fitting rooms. I could see people waiting at the cash register from mine through the curtains, and unfortunately had the first fitting room. -Bad fits, even worse fit advice. My experience: I know what size I am because I do make my own clothes, measurements and fit are something I have to be very aware of, and of course through trial and error I know what sizes fit across various brands. That being said, the girl kept trying to convince me the size she brought (30DD) was my correct size. I knew better from experience. I've had 30's before and by the end of the day closed on the tightest hook they're above my shoulder blades. The cup was obviously way too small, she wouldn't even let me adjust all of my breast tissue into the cup which was why it didn't look ill fitting. The underwires weren't back far enough, they were sitting ontop of the outside of my breast tissue which is a little thinner since it's the side so there isn't going to be as much as the front, yet the girl said it was empty. I was going to argue that one with her and mention I wasn't fully in the cup and there was some squish there as well as migrated breast tissue on the sides under my arms and a little on my back from previous years of wearing the wrong size, but I didn't. The correct way to put on a bra is to have it quite snug and level all around because it has to be anchored completely straight across to accomodate the weight of your breasts. She was pulling the band about 4" lower in the back than in the front, hiking up the front until it sat over breast tissue and said "it fits". I could fit both of my hands underneath the band. I tried convincing the girl I needed a 28 and her response was that not many people are really that size because it's so utterly small. Seriously? I can think of plenty of girls online with their own bra blogs who give reviews of bras that wear 28's and (no offense to them) look chunkier than I do and 28 is there correct size! Every time the girl told me "it fits", I had obvious fit issues such as spilling out of the cups with wrinkles and a pointy cup which suggests the cup is actually too small, the band was standing away from my ribcage and lifting up, the straps felt extremely loose. I was so infuriated by the time I left! I cannot believe they consider themselves fit specialists when they can't even fit properly! There were bras I was trying on that I know exactly how they should fit based on my own research and the girl was telling me they should be covering LESS. One example is the Panache Cleo Sadie - this was the bra I came in wearing (in a 28FF, mind you, and there she was bringing me DD's and E's???), and she informed me it should be barely covering my nips, yet all the pictures online you see of it it's covering a lot more. When you wear a smaller cup it makes you look flatter. Once I put my FF back on I had boobs because it was lifting properly. The DD-E's I tried were squashing me down. Another bit of bad advice that was told to me was larger bands and sister sizes for the cup (for exmaple a 28F and a 34D) are actually too big in the cup because the cups are being pulled too tight to the sides so they're not being filled all the way - which makes no sense whatsoever because if the band is loose it is not going to pull the cups to the sides, they're just going to sit on you. She made no sense, and she kept fumbling over her words. Every piece of advice she was giving me I was disagreeing with in my mind because I've had the complete opposite happen. And never once did she mention how snug or loose the band should be. You should be able to fit 2 fingers under the center front and no more. I could pull the entire front away about 4". The good thing about my horrible time there was that I know a cup size smaller definitely does NOT fit! Unfortunately the girl said they didn't have many 28F or FF's, my guess is because they don't think small frames have boobs...? I had breast spillage in all the bras that were suggested to have fit me, they were also pulling me down and to the sides because the cup was too small, it was also tugging at my shoulders causing me pain. Was this noted by the fitter? Nope. She said that is how it should look. No wonder so many women are walking around in the wrong size. When I was there another woman came in for a fitting and was suggested a size she did not agree with either. I do not recommend being fitted here! read more

this is the worst place I have ever purchased something in my life! Do NOT waste your money! I spent well over 300.00 at Zoe. Only to return two weeks later and most of the bras I had purchased had broken! I expect that when I pay over 80.00 for a bra that it will last longer then a WEEK! the customer service was VERY poor, I had my receipts etc...and they WOULD NOT DO ANYTHING! NOTHING! I was so excited to see that my favorite bra store is in Concord as well! I've been a customer in Rhode Island for 9+ years and I'm thrilled that this store is expanding and trying to reach more women. If you've never had a proper fitting, treat yourself. It's a mind-blowing experience. Their selection of styles is vast, their staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and "the girls" look so good when they're properly supported. This place is great! I have had many meltdowns in bra stores because I could never find something that fit, and finally my friend and I decided to try Zoe & Co. The ladies were extremely friendly and helpful, and after they used one style to find the right size (which felt so good to be in!), they brought in tons of bras for me to try. They also offered to continue to check the bras, since not everything fits in your "true size". They explained why each of the problems I had been having was happening, and helped me find the perfect bras for me. Plus they keep your info on file, so you don't even need to remember the size or style you got! This is the only bra store I will ever be shopping in (unless I venture down to their Westerly, RI location)! read more
