Jessica helped me and my teenager get several bras to see us through the next year. When you're so happy with the bra you wear it out of the store and recycle what you came in with, you know you got the best shopping experience of all. I am a huge proponent of paying more for good quality bras and getting fitted by experts whenever you shop. Shapes change, needs change, ordering the same bra year after year from an online company just isn't the best way to live your life if you've got bigger boobs or you're over 25 and gravity and hormones are getting involved. The selection of bras is extensive despite the small size of this shop- don't be deceived! They also have their own brand - my friend loves their undies- and special handwashing detergent to make your bras last. The changing rooms are private and the staff know their stuff and how to make you feel comfortable showing your chest and torso off so they can check your fit. Highly recommend this store and treating yourself right with good quality, well made bras. You deserve it!

Even after first nice sales person told her I was waiting. Was given a bra that didn't fit, at all. Person supposed to take care of my appt continued to other dressing room to 2nd customer while I as trying one on. Think because I showed up in jeans and tee, not dressed up, she didn't realize was about to drop cashola to get right products. First sales person tried to convince me to stay (she was very nice), but, was miffed how 2nd sales person supposed to help with my first time ever appt, didn't handle. Won't waste time going back. Didn't mind waiting a few minutes, but being ignored, didn't make good impression, especially when ready to make investment.

As requested by the store's website, I called to make an appointment for a fitting. I am not sure…read morewhy I even bothered since the salespeople spent more time helping walk-ins. Perhaps it was unrealistic to expect that an appointment meant some level of individualized attention. Clearly the salesperson was more interested in the long-time client who walked in after me rather than honoring my appointment. Evidently, the salesperson doesn't understand how you get long-time clients is by treating each and every customer like they were rather than they are expendable and not worth their time. I selected one bra. Normally good salespeople will ask would you like additional items in that size or a different type. Nope, not this salesperson; because she was too busy picking out items to try on for her other client. I was willing to spend some decent money on a good set of bras. I reluctantly bought the one and really should have just left without buying anything. I will not be back.

I never thought unlined lace bras could work for me, but Shelley pulled a beige and black on off the rack and they changed my life. I feel young and beautiful again at 63. Also, I walked away with a "driving bra". Like you, I had never heard of that either--but now I cannot live without mine. I am a 34DD and sometimes 34DDD. The driving bra is the most comfortable bra ever--with no underwire--and it still hoisted up the girls. I wear it a lot more than just when I am driving. Also, I bought some buttery-soft, lace trimmed tencel camisoles in black and white--and a $200 gift card for my daughter. Spread the joy, ladies--and buy gift cards. My friend is coming down for a visit and we are staying at the Inn at Rye Place next door. We are planning the trip around when Bella Intimates is open, so we can do some bra shopping.

As a longtime customer of Alec's Shoes in Nashua, the experience I had today was incredibly…read moredisappointing. Over the years, I've spent thousands of dollars there and referred numerous family members and friends because I believed they stood behind the products they sold. Unfortunately, that trust is gone. I purchased a pair of Clarks on May 9th specifically for an upcoming vacation. After wearing them ONCE to dinner, I realized they were too snug and needed a wider size. I returned to the store June 9th with the original box and receipt, fully intending to exchange them for the exact same shoe in a wider width. The only issue? The soles showed the slightest amount of wear from being worn once. Despite the fact that I was requesting an exchange--not a refund--and despite what I believed was compliance with their stated return policy, I was told the shoes were no longer in "new condition" and could not be exchanged. How exactly are customers supposed to determine whether a shoe is truly comfortable and fits properly without wearing it beyond a few steps in a store? Shoes often feel different after an actual outing. Refusing to exchange a pair that was worn once for a few hours is an unreasonable policy, especially for a retailer that charges premium prices. I have never minded paying more for quality footwear and good customer service, but this experience demonstrated a complete lack of flexibility and customer appreciation. They clearly don't value their customers and don't care about anything other than making that initial sale. There are plenty of other shoe retailers offering the same quality products with much more customer-friendly return and exchange policies. After years of loyalty and thousands of dollars spent, I can no longer recommend Alec's Shoes and would caution others to carefully consider their return policy before making a purchase. If you wear the shoes even once to determine whether they actually fit comfortably, don't expect any accommodation if they don't work out. **I was so surprised by the way they handled the situation that I took photos of the exchange to share with this review**
